So on Aug 11 or 12, 2025 (I believe), I uploaded a review about Sitejabber on Trustpilot with the description of account deletion and uploaded review without consent and it was accepted. However, at other times, they would just decline it. Here are the list of things that it's declined (it's most likely after a few minutes I submitted the review which I'm not sure how it's quick):
Jul 27, 2025: Review about Monkeytype IP ban
Aug 13, 2025 (2 reviews):
1. Scratch mistaken account ban
2. Wikipedia banned account and never unbanned me

And after a few minutes I submitted the review, I get a email saying (note that I changed my name into "[my name]" for privacy reasons) "[my name], your review didn’t make it online, or it was taken offline" as the topic name and when I read it, it says these are the reasons why it's flagged with 1 or more reasons (yes, that is what it says in the email and I do have the screenshot of it):
- You may have multiple Trustpilot user accounts or a temporary email address.
- You’re using certain privacy settings and identity-hiding tools (e.g., proxy, VPN).
- Your device settings and account activity may have been flagged as unusual.
- There’s advertising or promotional content in your review, such as links, email addresses, or phone numbers.

I only have 1 Trustpilot account and why would I create more than 1 and my email address is not temporary. I do not have any privacy tools like a VPN the whole time. I do not have any device settings and account activity adjusted as when I submitted a review about Sitejabber on Trustpilot, it didn't appear and just got accepted. When I was making a review about Scratch, I did provide what the support says and I replaced it with the email address into the term "[email]" and there is no phone numbers on any reviews I written.

Trustpilot should double check before declining because it thinks it's one of them and it's none. The email is edited (not a actual email address but the one I mentioned above), and Trustpilot is trying to stop me from making reviews when I am truthful and provide evidence. While I did see the mention if there's a mistake and correct it if there's anything wrong, it wouldn't always work. I will provide the conversation history with interactions with that email once I get responses (will be provided in the comments below whenever it's shown). Here is the full message on what the email says (this one is the review about Wikipedia being declined on Trustpilot) (I did edit anything that contains personal info but there's also a screenshot (separate pictures because of the huge chunk of text but the message is the same but the last picture at the end of the email is covered (one of the parts) because it shows the company's address and I do not want to share it here)):
Hi [my name],
We’re getting in touch because your review of www.wikipedia.org didn’t make it online, or it was taken offline after appearing on our platform, and we want to explain why. To ensure our community can trust the reviews they read on Trustpilot, we use automated detection technology and a team of experts to look for patterns of unusual behaviour. If something doesn’t look right, we stop reviews from appearing on Trustpilot in the first place, or we take them offline if they’re already visible. In this case, your review may have been flagged for one or more reasons:
- You may have multiple Trustpilot user accounts or a temporary email address.
- You’re using certain privacy settings and identity-hiding tools (e.g., proxy, VPN).
- Your device settings and account activity may have been flagged as unusual.
- There’s advertising or promotional content in your review, such as links, email addresses, or phone numbers.

Do you think we’ve made a mistake?

If you think your review was flagged by mistake, we want to give you the opportunity to challenge our assessment. You can prove that your review is based on a genuine experience by:
- Replying to this email with any documentation showing your experience with www.wikipedia.org.
- It could be a receipt, order confirmation, or a phone call history.
- Documentation that includes details like the business name or your name can be helpful in verifying your review.

We process data in line with our Privacy Policy.

What’s next? Once we have the documentation, we’ll reassess and inform you of the outcome. If everything checks out, we’ll get your review back online. If you have any questions, just reply to this email—we’re here to help.

Thanks for your cooperation

The address shown on the email says Denmark so that's why I marked the country as Denmark

Ok. The review about Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) on Trustpilot was resolved after I contacted them and uploaded it (yes, with consent as it says provide documentation for proof and I showed proof and showing proof will upload the review which I'm fine with). However, the review about Wikipedia on Trustpilot is not resolved yet. If it does, I'll let you know here

Ok. Nevermind, they wouldn't just accept my Wikipedia review. They said it's for account reasons and at the time I was responding, I was watching a video, not on Trustpilot doing whatever I'm doing there. And it says I need evidence but when I said I don't remember where the location is at and my mind remembers that I did request it and just declines it for no reason. For the Monkeytype review that I requested from them, I said the same thing but instead, I provided evidence but they also wouldn't accept it. This is why I filed a complaint against Trustpilot here (I hope this improves otherwise, I might stop using it)

Trustpilot owners: If you are reading this, whenever a user replies to you, you need to be serious about your actions. For me, you just declined my Wikipedia review online for no reason and this is not ok as that's unfair practice. Also, it's important to listen to users (as long it's not off-topic) if it's related about reviews, accounts, or anything else that is related to Trustpilot, you just got to listen
