Traveler HelpDesk Plane ticket

If only I could gave your company 0 star I will do it without any hesitation.
I bought a plane ticket from you that cost me nearly 2000 dollars. I never received the electronic nor paper ticket. After calling for severals times, you said that the flight got canceled. Whenever I ask for a refund, you just hang up on me. I don't even know how many times I've called you to get a refund or even a solution. My mother was sick, I had to go see her. I've spent all the money that I had to buy that ticket and didn't have the right to receive a refund given that the flight got canceled. You do not even respect your client. How dare you just hung up on someone after taking his/her money. As an excuse, you said that only the company can give refund. When I call the airline company, they direct me to you as well which is normal given that I made the payment with you. You do not have time to take to those who you have already taken their money, but you do have time to make new bookings with news clients who still ignore how unprofessional you are. The ticket was bought on July 2020. Just few days ago I tried again to reach you on the phone, as usual you just hang up on me once I hearing "refund". When I try your online chat, one of your agent said that it has been a long time, so you do not have my payment on your register. Your company is just complete [censored] really.

Traveler HelpDesk Refund not honored

I booked a trip planned through kayak.com. Traveler HelpDesk responded they couldn't fulfill and wanted to charge more for a different flight. So I booked the original flight through a different agency and requested a refund. Traveler HelpDesk responded that they actuallly had booked at original price. I asked to cancel and refund and they responded that the ticket had already been booked. I refused again and they stopped responding. Haven't gotten any response to phone calls or emails yet and it's been weeks.

Hola, mi nombre es Barbara E Suarez , hice mi reserva para 31 diciembre en un vuelo desde Miami a Nassau y de ahí a la Habana. El día mismo en la mañana llamé para confirmar mi vuelo y me notificaron que estaba cancelado. Mi número de confirmación es 474TYP. Me dicen que no pueden devolverme todo mi dinero pues según ellos yo volé a Cuba , estoy tratando de que verifiquen con la aerolínea para que vean que nunca volé.Vivo en Miami y de aquí no me he movido . Hasta donde la falta de respeto y el fraude. Cómo explicarlo? Mi pasaje costo 1396.00, me a devolver 421 dólares!? Pero? Que está pasando con estas agencia, es un robo a la cara, no me voy a quedar callada ,aunque necesite de un abogado y gaste el triple de dinero , los voy a demandar, Exijo mi dinero ya mismo. No fue mi culpa, no yo cancele mi pasaje. La aerolínea por donde debía viajar desde Miami a Nassau se llama Bahsmassir.

Traveler HelpDesk Air Ticket

The flight was canceled due to the pandemic. Airlines sent me an email saying I would get a full refund, but the Travel Help Desk totally ignored it, saying they have their own policy. I reached out to many places. Nothing happened. The carrier was American Airlines, so upon calling I found out that they had already issued a refund. When I got back to the Travel Help Desk, again they completely ignored me. Then I wrote an email to DOT and, wallah, I received an email saying I should shortly receive a refund. Sure enough, I did receive the full refund after six months. 

So guys, make sure that you have all sorts of evidence about the complaint that you are making. Once you have all that evidence, do not waste your time writing twenty different emails to random sites. Just write an email with all the details, enclosing the supporting documents. You will get your refund.

People, DO NOT DO business with the fraudsters. They are ripping of everyone. Buy directly from airline which you intend to fly which is cheaper and convenient.

Traveler HelpDesk Airline refunds

- Used a 3rd party system to search and purchase Spirit Airline tickets on 6/26/2021, for travel on 12/5/2021
- Don't recall if it was Expedia, Kayak or which 3rd party. Either way, did not purchase tickets directly through Spirit - ended up purchasing through travelerhelpdesk.com
- Spirit canceled flight due to covid. I was not notified by Spirit or travelerhelpdesk.com
- Happened to check the tickets 11/10/2021 to find flight canceled
- Called travelerhelpdesk.com. They said I had to use credit in 30 days, or decide immediately if I would take a partial refund. Took the refund. I have a document indicating a partial refund from travelhelpdesk.com
- I called Spirit. They said since they cancelled the flight, they issued a full refund to travelhelpdesk.com on 11/10/2021
- Communicated to TravelerHelpDesk again and they say they don't charge for their services. I told them they already got the full refund from Spirit.
- I have made calls to travelerhelpdesk.com and been hung up on almost 1/2 the time
- Finally talked to supervisor and supposedly he put in a request to accounting dept to issue refund
- They say they will issue the refund, but it's 12/13/2021 and it has not come yet. Supposedly 12/15/2021
- Even if I do get the refund, these people are deceptive, manipulative and fraudulent. This is absolutely the worst group I have ever dealt with for travel.
- No airline or 3rd party should EVER contract with this company.
- On doing research, I read there is an umbrella company that runs multiple of these outfits.
- Bottom line - do not ever buy tickets through a 3rd party unless you are willing to accept this behavior - go directly to the airlines.
- Filed a complaint with Spirit Airlines
- I believe TravelerHelpDesk sits on customers money deceptively to get interest. I believe they would never issue the refund without harassment

Desired outcome: Broadcast deceptive and problematic behavior by this company. Have them lose contracts or change their policies. Get my refund.

Travelers help desk faked being the airlines direct contact for advanced ticket purchase and caused a 1/3 loss of refund due to our passport adjustment to Thailand.

Traveler HelpDesk Vuelos

El día 3 de marzo de 2020 compré 4 boletos (bogota-miami) los cuales por la pandemia no se pudo realizar, me llamaron que para cancelar los vuelos debía pagar una multa de 25 dólares cada uno y que se me devolvería el 100% del dinero. En el mes de enero de 2021 solicité a la aerolínea American Airlines el reembolso y así lo hicieron el total(100%) del dinero hicieron la devolución a las tarjetas de la empresa... llevo 10 meses esperando me devuelvan el dinero o me den un bono para comprar otros vuelos, pero ahora cada vez que llamo y digo la palabra reembolso me cuelgan y responden que espere que esta en tramite.

Es el dinero de las vacaciones de mis hijos, vivo 3n Colombia, soy profesora y mi sueldo es bajo y tuve que ahorrar mucho para lograr comprar los vuelos.

5 months waiting for my refund, today is the day that they do not return anything they do not answer me and when they do they say that in 15 days and I stayed the 15 days they tell me that my account is wrong how will it be wrong if . From there they charged 8 accounts 4 ppay number Pal I have provided and each time I wait 15 days 5 to locate them already generated double the expenses and I require my money and an indegnisacion Refund

Traveler HelpDesk Airline ticket purchase

I just spoke to TravelerHelpDesk customer support staff (Rico) he indicates a refund will not occur for 2 more weeks (10 -15 business days). Rico states the manager's name is Jeffrey and Jeffrey will call me back. At this point, I have NOT received a call back from Jeffrey, additionally I get a different story regarding my refund every time I call.

I purchased tickets and requested a refund on the same date 8/24/2021. I still have not received my refund and it's now 10/6/2021.

Previously, I spoke to a representative and they said it would be processed by 9/18 - it is now 10/6. On their site, they advertised a 24 cancellation policy with a money back guarantee and no fees for cancelling, whereas I cancelled within the 24 hour timeframe. It has been ~6 weeks and still no refund.

I am reporting Traveler Help Desk to the BBB, Google and Yelp reviews, and report fraud to Chase.

My wife had her flight cancelled by United on this booking.

They sent you a refund of $208.80 on the 12th of July to Master Card ending in 4480 which I believe is their business credit card. We paid for this flight with AE ending in 1006

I have repeatedly asked for the refund since it was sent to them on the 12th of July 2021.

Traveler HelpDesk Overcharged

Worst travel agency ever. Over charged. I was quoted one price, then was shocked at what I was charged. I used sky scanner which redirected me to this company's website. After entering my information and selecting my options for my flight, I was shocked when non of my selections were accurate and I was charged without confirming the order.
The company is refusing to give my money back.

Traveler HelpDesk Copa Airlines Trip to Pandama

Book 4 round trip flights from SFO to Panama City Panama through Travles Help Desk (THD) in May of 2020. We were to depart on Dec 16 202 and stay until Dec. 31st 2020. Our credit card was charged $3, 227.56. These where direct flights and included all taxes and fees. The airlines was Copa Air, who is the largest carrier flying to Central Ameria. In Sept. 2020 we called Travelers Help Desk to find out about how Covid-19 was going to impact our trip. We were told by Travelers Help Desk (THD) that no flight were allowed to fly from US to Centrial America. We had to cancel our trip, but they would not give us a refund for our tickets. We were told that the only thing we can do is extend the flight until next year, but it was going to cost us an additonal $240. We agreed to pay the additonal fee to save our trip. Then we called back THD in May of 2021 to and was told that we had unitl end of May to rebook our trip or lose our credit. When we tried to schedule for the new trip, the airlines didn't have many flights from our airport. And all the flight where double and triple the costs we orginally paid. Again we tried to get a refund for this trip, now out $3, 227.56 + $240. THD stated that the airlines was not giving refunds and if they did they would go bankrupt. We re-booked the flights for Nov of 2021 since Dec dates would of costs us an additonal 2k. The new flights costs us an additonal $519. and we had to leave on a Tuesday and come back on a Wednesday, before Thnaksgiving. This impacted our work and school schedule, but was willing to go since we are not into this trip a total of $3, 986.56. We thought we werer all set, then got a phone call from Indian agent named Ross, stating that Copa Air rejected flight booking. They would not honor a United Air LInes conneting flight from RDU to DC airport where Copa now flys out of. Again we requested a refund from THD, again was denied the request. We were left no other option, but to dispute the chartes through our credit card Capitol One. Fast forward to Aug 2021, just got off the phone with Capitol One and they stated that THD would not refund us our tickets. We paid in good faith $3, 986.56 for a Panama trip that we never went on. Travelrs Help Desk states it is not their fault that the Pandemic cancelled all the flights, Copa Airlines states we didn't buy ticket from them, Capitol One states we are still trying to fight for our refund. We filled a complaint with Department of Justice, in CA, got a former letter saying they would review, no other word from them. I guess the only other thing we can do is let everyone know that this company is dishonest. Cliams to be a California company but everone you talke to is from India and have very heavy accents. Next stop is to talk to a lawyer!

Desired outcome: Refund for money we spend on a trip we never got to go on.

Traveler HelpDesk Lied to full refund not received

I purchased these round trip tickets on may 10, 2021. I changed dates on my itinerary may 31, 2021 at 11:20 a. They charged me an extra 50% more just to change my dates around. In total I paid 1117.30 for my spouse and I to travel through spirit airlines. Well on august 1st an hour before our flight we were notified that the flights had been cancelled. I called travel help desk who told me to contact spirit to get another flight. They said I had to use a flight credit. Which I didn't understand because I paid through debit transaction like cash through travel help desk. They gave me another flights they got canceled on the way to the the airport again on august 3, 2021. I got sprit to agree to give me a full refund, but they lied didn't refund me and didn't send a email. Travel help desk then switched there story and said that they can contact spirit to get full refund summited to me. First they said it would take 5-7 business days then said it will take up to 15 days.

Long story short I want my money in full 1117.30 deposited back to my card I didn't cancel my flight its federal law that I be refunded in full and I wont stop until I get it. I'm in contact with dot and the federal government to try and resolve the matter! Yes they are a scam!

Traveler HelpDesk Refund of 100%

In November of 20219 I purchased 4 tickets to Brazil and the cost was nearly $4K and the tickets were canceled bc of covid. In November of 2020 I rescheduled the tickets fo May/21 the charged me $200 fee per ticket to reschedule, so I paid it as I really wanted to take my kids to see my family in Brazil since it has been 13 years since my kids went there to see my family. This trip was a big deal for us. 3 days before our flights, I called to confirm our itinerary and they told me my flights were canceled and they did not even had the courtesy to call me to notify that the flights were canceled. So instead of reschedule, they said they would give me a refund of $2700, so these tickets by now costed me nearly $5K and they want to refund half of it? Plus they said the refund would come in 2 billing cycle and it has been longer than that, 2 and a half months has passed. My savings are in their hands and I want the full refunder the tickets. I need this money ASAP. Bas company to make deal with. RUN.

I would like to make a complaint with traveler help desk for Misinformation about our flight
We missed our flight and messed up our vacation
to Hawaii. Instead of helping us with our flight you
Messed up
Aileen customer service saying she called me but she never called or update our flight no email to update us. Our plan and the whole vacation was ruined our blood pressure shoot up because of the added stress.

Traveler HelpDesk Flight ticket refund

Bought a flight ticket. Airline cancelled the flight due to covid. Asking for a full refund since July 2020. Have sent them all details multiple times as well as the airline's policy and airline's answer. They have gone from a voucher (minus 100us fee) to a partial refund of 325us, to a partial refund of 200us to not responding to any inquiries.

They try to spin it as if I cancelled the booking and no refunds are possible. Would never recommend booking with this company or their partners, Smartfares or LBF Travel.

Traveler HelpDesk excessive flight cancellation fees

I purchased a round trip ticket from Los Angeles to Italy for $730.74 for travel in April 2020 from Travel Help Desk. Due to the pandemic, my flight was cancelled. As compensation, the airline, Alitalia, offered vouchers for future trips. I applied my voucher to rebook my flight for April 2021. The airfare had increased by $379.93, to which I paid. In March, I called Travel Help Desk, and was told by Tyrone that my flight was cancelled again and Alitalia was offering a refund and waiving all fees. I was then informed that I would receive only $450.00 of the total $1, 110.67, and I would have to wait 3 months before I would receive it.

If Alitalia waived all fees and the U.S. Department of Transportation informed all companies that they would be obligated to refund 100% of cost of cancelled flights due to the global pandemic, it is clear that being charged $660.67 in fees is not only unwarranted, but counter to the policies of the USDT and Alitalia. That said, I feel entitled to receive the full amount that I paid for my travel. Thank you

Traveler HelpDesk Air Travel Tickets

I booked two tickets on travelerhelpdesk.com on 6/18/21, then I realized that I had booked the wrong return date. I called them & spent an hour booking the correct flight. Meanwhile, I get several emails with different confirmation numbers. I also get an email saying that the original trip was unable to confirm. I made the mistake of disregarding those emails until the day of the flight. None of those three emails had a viable confirmation with the airline. When I called them to find a viable resolution, they told me that they made a mistake & apologized. They said that the email that said that it couldn't be confirmed was because Frontier didn't provide a confirmation & they never charged my card for the second transaction. I asked when I'd get a refund / why they hadn't contacted me... They just said that I would get a refund in 3 business days. Fast forward to a week later, still no refund. I called them, they said that it takes 14 - 19 days.

Traveler HelpDesk Charged for air ticket without any service

TravelerHelpdesk is a scammer there is no doubt about it. I had purchased an air ticket in April for my son, who is in Nepal. The flight was scheduled to take off on May 23rd, but due to Covid, the flight got canceled. I wrote emails to TravelerHelpdesk to inquire about, but they won't respond to my email.

A couple of days later, I received an email from Qatar Airways saying the flight that was scheduled for May 23rd has been canceled, and I get to pick a different convenient date at no extra cost, but since my ticket was purchased from TravelerHelpdesk I have to contact them directly.

Later I managed to speak with a guy named Corby at TravelerHelpdesk. He is telling me to cancel the ticket instead of helping me to pick a different date. He says I can then purchase a new ticket. But the problem is, when I cancel the ticket, he said, I will have to pay the cancellation fee plus I have to pay for the new ticket a lot more than my previous ticket price.

I think we customers should either get service or money back. These people just take money from customers like us and keep it without giving the service ?

Today, when I saw all these negative reviews at the complain board site, I got shocked. But, again, to me, this looks like we keep complaining, and they keep ripping people off...? If people like them can get away with their crimes, this will encourage all the evil-minded people around us to put up new businesses just like Travelrhelpdesk to rip off the people. I am wondering there must be a way to drag them to the court...

Now this is even more interesting to know that America Airlines had already issued the refund on July 8th to the TravelerHelpdesk. One of the customer service specialists at AA told me this morning when I called them.

Traveler HelpDesk Purchased airline tickets

Booked 4 direct round trip tickets from SFO ( San Francisco CA) to PTY ( Panama) with Travelrs Help Desk. We where Scheduled to leave on 12-16-20 and return on 12-31-20 than the Covid 19 hit. All flights where cancelled and no international flights where allowed to fly into Panama. We paid $3, 227.56 on May31st, 2020. We called Travelers Help Desk and and talked to Indian person named Ross, who claimed their business was located in San Diego, CA.

We call Travel Help Desk back to try and cancell our trip, but was told it was not refundable. We went online to to Copa airlines to check on our reservactions and no record of them. Travel Help Desk stated that best we can do is to delay the trip and it will cost an additional $250. We extend the trip to May 2021. We called back Travel Help Desk in April 2021 and talked to Ross. He tried to rebook our trip, but now it is going to cost more money do to Covid 19. We re-booked the 4 tickets, this time not direct flights, and out of different airport. Paid another $519 on May 29th 2021. We heard back from Travel Help Desk on May 30th that the Copa airline rejected our bookings do to they don't have flights out of RDU, Raleigh NC international airport. Furthermore, we would lose all our money we paid upfront which amounts to $3, 996.56. We then contacted our credit card company capitalOne and they arred to continue our fight to get a refund for flights that we never took.
Now on July 19 2021 we get this letter from Travel Help Desk:

Traveler HelpDesk Refund

Booked a flight to Israel and spent over $2, 000.00 but had to cancel due to COVID. I was promised a refund and it's been over a year and a half now and I still haven't received it. Tried to email but no response. Tried to call but they kept on hanging up the phone when they hear the word REFUND. This company should not stay in business. This is appalling!
