Toyota 2019 rav4 hybrid

The gas gauge on my 2019 RAV4 Hybrid has not worked for nine months. Contacted customer service multiple times to no avail. Their response is; we are aware of the problem on 2019 Hybrids, there is no fix for the problem; we are working on it (12 plus months now); there is nothing we can do; you will have to wait. They claim a letter was sent out in mid May stating they are working on the problem and they are extending the warranty. I did not receive such a letter. Extending the warranty on a faulty part with no replacement is an insult.

Toyota Services about your agent

Its been 3yrs already after having my toyota wigo but my freebies has not been reciv this agent name nice de guzman in cagayan de oro city, the plate no. Take 2yrs if were not calling the toyota office in cdo we dont know that our plate s already there.. we keep on calling her but no answer.we drop by cagayan de oro for the set cover, she called by other employee there by phone and tell her that we are there, my husband talk to her in the phone and nice promise that she will send it thru lbc but its been 1 year no lbc reciv.. we are very diss apointed poor service we keep on calling her but she will not answer our call..now were planning to buy toyota fortuner but we confuse if we buy same brand again or go to nissan terra because of our experience..honestly it takes 1 1/2 hour to travel from our plce the time we get the wigo very raw not complte no tint no rush paint protection in the inner part so hassle to our part we keep on travelling to cdo just for that i need to hire a driver because we are bz at work..we relly had à bad experience..we want that her atention should be call ..she lost few of your customer..mata pobre.namimili ng customer siguro dahil wigo lang kinuha namin kaya ganon. Im hoping for reply n action regarding this.thank you.

Toyota Peeling paint

I have been to my dealer and was told they could do nothing for me same with corporate. I have researched and found they have had problems for yrs. My Seauoia is not on the list so not covered. My Sequoia is a 2012 with only 51, 000 miles. It was pristine til May 24th 2020. When I noticed a big piece of paint falling off backdoor and above windshield. I don't understand why out of all the cars Toyota is fixing why Sequoia and Highlander people are left out. The paint is bad not the car. Now I have a car with thousands less monetary value for a trade in. I would hope you would stand by your product

Yep, my 2014 white Tacoma is peeling like that and the paint feels like 320 grit sand paper. There is a TSB out for everything except a Tacoma and probably your vehicle right now, check out the attached TSB-0162-19. I've been going around with Toyota and I've already been given the "sucks to be you" reply from corporate.

Toyota Complaining about toyota innova crysta service dhanbad

im from Dhanbad Jharkhand ( babudih near zila school dhanbad). we are running 2-4 companies and we have almost 4 toyota vehichal.
one of my car innova crysta < JH10AG1105> is in dhanbad showroom for approx 3 month for service and servicing is not started yet and when i asked about my car service they are asking for advance money and the attitude of their talking with their coustomer was not upto the mark and he didnt inform any thing about my car. Your executive MR. Abhijeet does not know how t talk with their coustomer and he also tries to threatened us when I inquired about my car your service is wrost I have ever had. Try to take some action on your executive.

Toyota service

I called Murry Toyota at around 3pm to explain that I had flat tire and that i had tire coverage. I advised that I had a piece of metal stuck in my tire. The female rep said to call roadside assistance. She offered to transfer me, But said I got an email that indicated with the covid-19 virus you could have the car picked up via a concierge. She reiterated I can have roadside change my tire and then I can bring the tire in for repair. I said fine and she transfered me to Toyota Roadside. I reached an automated system that requested my number and would send a link to get my location. I filled out the request and hit submit. It is now 545 and still no truck to change my tire.

I called in mutliple time and was told the truck would be here in 10 mins. During all of this I'm working from home on multiple calls from both my cell and landline.

I call Toyota roadside assistance again and again and again.

At 5:24 I get a message from an individual that asked, "Are you still waiting for a tire change?"

I said yes. I've been waiting 2 hours. I get a reply that says then why does no one answer your phone? I responded, I'm on the phone with Toyota Roadside assistnace now. I ask, What is the hold up? Do you need the address? I get another response shortly after, I went back home cause I got no answer. And then annother message that statred I can be there in 10 mins.

I replied and said don't worry about it and he continuned with ok. I called 7 times starting a half hour ago.

I stopped replying as this person clearly wants to argue with me and I'm livid at this point having to wait 2 hours.

I call roadside assistance again. get someone from the escalated department. Said I need a tire change and I need a truck today. Please do not send me the same company as I'm not in the mood to argue with someone that should have texted me initially instead of calling 7 times. Then gets home and texts, " do you still need a tire change"

I would rather take the bus and wait for a tire change tomorrow then give that company any business. They called 7 times then went home to then text me "are you waiting for a tire change" - no thanks.

at this point it was 530 and I was on the phone with someone at Toyota roadside. She says she can have someone to me in 45 mins.

It is now 556pm and I writing for no reason other than I've very disappointed.

When I called Murry at 315pm I would have preferred for the female associate that I spoke with to zip her lip and listen to what I was needing than sending me off to roadside assistance.

I should have just called AAA and had them tow the car to the dealership to have the tire repaired or replaced. But instead I allowed these trusted advisors to waste the remainder of the day to have nothing accomplished.

So now I will have another tow company change my tire for me to drive to the dealership and have the tire replace tomorrow.

Not customer service at all. I'm very disappointed not only with the dealership but with roadside assistance as well as the tow company that decided to send a text message after they returned home.

Toyota failure to fix the toyota c-hr and bad customer service from toyota

I am driving a Toyota C-HR CVT plus 1.2, 2017 I believe that my car has a factory fault. I reported it where I bought it at Toyota Gezina after they serviced the car for 15000 km. The car was shaking and showed a warning light saying (reduced engine power visit your dealer) I took it back the following day they told me they don't know what is the matter. I took it back the following weekend they told me it was a small pipe they forgot to fit. They told me if I have a problem with the car, there is no need to take it to Toyota Gezina but I can take it to any Toyota dealer.

I then stopped to take my car to Gezina because I felt that they needed me when I was buying the car now that the car is giving me challenges I must not bring it to them. I took it to Toyota Pretoria north for service. Unfortunately, another time my car had a battery problem after they serviced the car and could realize that the battery has a problem, I took the car to Pretoria North they told me they also don't know what is the challenge with the car. I drove the car and called roadside assistance then they towed it to Mayville Toyota that is where they fitted the battery.

On 20 January 2020, I took the car to Gezina for service and explained the challenge with the car, that the car is shaking, has reduced power, I have to stop by the roadside and restart the car, it also has a rotten like smell. They said it needs the airflow meter and it must be ordered. I waited until I took the car on the 25 February 2020 they fitted the airflow meter but the problem persisted. They told me they need a day and a half to fix the car. I took back the car the following day. The car stayed from Wednesday morning until Saturday morning. The car was still not fixed they told me it needs injectors and they are still waiting for the parts to arrive.

My complaint here is that.

1. The technicians from Toyota have no idea what is the problem with the car they are just speculating.
2. I called My Toyota but they are not assisting with anything they keep on saying we will come back to you and they never came back to me.
3. I received a message from Toyota saying my car is booked for service on the 09/03/2020 for service. When I call the dealer they tell me I must just ignore the message.
4. Driving a Toyota in South Africa is not safe because you cant get help from the dealer and also can't get help from My Toyota.
5. It is for the first time I drive a Toyota but I am really disappointed and regret and don

Denial of the 2nd Free Service for My Toyota Vitz : WP CBJ-8028 (Chassis No: KSP [protected]) by Toyota Lanka

I purchased a Toyota Vitz with 3958 Km from Toyota Lanka - Nawinna on 28th January 2020. Prior to the purchase I was informed by the Sales Personnel at the Toyota Lanka Showroom at Nawinna, that they will provide us with a 100, 000 Km warranty as well as 2 FREE Services.
Yesterday, when my father went to Toyota Lanka Nawinna to get the first Free Service (as the car has done 5, 000Km now), he was told that this is the 2nd and the last Free Service. The receipt which was given to us after the Service had the name of somebody else as the owner.
We do not know whether the first service was given to this person by Toyota and depriving us of our 2nd Service or Sales Personnel deliberately lied to us. However, we are thoroughly disappointed with Toyota Lanka Nawinna with regard to this incident and hope Toyota Global can get involved in this dispute and make matters right by giving us our 2nd Free Service at 10, 000 km.

Toyota Unethical behaviour

Hi Toyota, I am Raihaana Jacobs from Hillcomp Electronics. On 21 February 2020, at around 7h30 I took my toyota Corolla 2015 automatic to Barlow world Toyota Stellenbosch. There was a shuttering on the front wheels and the car pulled heavily. On arrival, Leon from the workshop and my husband took the vehicle for a drive. Leon says it sounded like the automatic gearbox. We left the vehicle there. Roundabout 14h15. I received a call from Wayne, the consultant by whom I booked the vehicle in the morning, stating that they are still busy with the vehicle and that he will phone me as soon as the are finish. I asked him what the actual problem was on which he replied that the injectors were dirty. Roundabout 16h00 Wayne phoned again to say that the vehicle was ready for collection. On arrival at the dealership I was issued with an invoice and a payment was requested. I replied that I refuse to pay. During the entire time that the vehicle was at the dealership nobody communicated to me what the fault was, that the warranty does not cover the cleaning of the injectors and what the cost will be. I think its company policy to first detect the fault, inform the customer about the fault, inform the customer if the warranty covers the fault or not, then quote the customer, the customer then needs to give the go-ahead. These steps were not followed. The workshop manager did not even have the decency to come and speak or apologized for their actions. I think their attitude was and the customer service that I got from them was very unprofessional.

Toyota service on maintenance for car breakdown/problem

My car VIOS year 2017 (under 5 years warranty)
Chronology events:
1. My son drove back to Penang from KL at 8.30am
2. The car smelt burnt & smoke came out at Tanjung Malim
( 1.5 hour after driving) - engine indicator flash out*
3. Check the water tank & radiator - water dried. Fill up the water into the tank & let the car cool down & continue driving.
4. Engine indicator flash out again @ 12.30pm & stop at Ipoh Toyota Services at Autoria Sdn Bhd for further checkup on the condition.
5. After checked & confirmed by toyota's mechanic that the car is in a good condition and in order to continue driving back to Penang @ 4.30pm
6. However, the engine indicator flash out again at Sg Perak R&R @ 5.30pm, he stopped as he afraid to continue driving back to Penang.
7. We had get auto assist to tow the car back to Penang. Reach Penang at 9.45pm.

Issue highlighted/Complaint:

1. WHY the indicator still flash out after the completed service done by toyota's service center @ Ipoh ( Autoria Sdn Bhd )?
2. We have suffered driving in unsecured feeling.
3. The car still under warranty and WHY it's happened?
4. Toyota must re-reimburse my towing cost of RM350.00
( will provide receipt upon request)
5. How could your mechanic confirmed the car was in a good condition & safe after checking, whereas after 1 hour driving it's happened again! I'm solely relied on your professional service to ensure the safety of my family.

You may check with your toyota centre on the issue and kindly take immediate action and urgent reply.

Toyota possible identity theft

I have written before about this same problem. I bought a Ram from this dealership in 2016 and for some reason, my information was merged with a Norma Fritz who bought an Avalon. Now I constantly get mail with my name and her name on it. I have tried several times to fix this problem but the dealer never calls me back. I feel that there is a huge problem here and my next step will have to be alerting the media that Toyota thinks it's ok to share information about customers with other customers. I feel this is an easy fix... Take my name off of the account with Norma Fritz, investigate whether or not my identity has been breached. Toyota 2012 prius

I have a 2012 Toyota prius and last week I was in an accident. The car in front of me stopped suddenly and I applied the brakes and slid. The anti lock brakes did not work. I have major damage to the right front passenger side of the car. The car in front of me that stopped had anti lock brakes that worked. So I have whip lash and my car is damaged. Why did the brakes not work and why did the air bags not deploy.

Toyota selling / product prices

On 12/21/19 I went to ger 03 Corolla to get service and salesman cornered me and said we have an unbelievable deal . Car was marked 4, 000 above other dealerships. I'm full actived duty . The next day I spoke to a sale manager by the name of casenelli and sold me bologna about you got an awesome deal. Spoke to Cruz o 1/24/20 and said the same thing great deal at, 0% and he ask me for the stock numbers of the other cars will do research and so forth. Will get back to me regarding pricing cause the car are different. Until this day I haven't heard from cruz. JENNIFER from their dealership went down on the price 21, 256 . When ask why price was so high she said it is a different car and I send the screenshot to verify she went down on the price. I didnt expect to hear from cruz anyway because it is crystal clear their prices are way above every one else. All I ask is for them to match the price.

Toyota bad workmanship

My name is Redwan Amod Shah, I had purchased a 2014 White Toyota Auris from East Toyota in Eshowe in November 2019. The salesman Mr Slayed drove the car from Eshowe to Chatsworth for me to have a look at. I was happy with what i seen however i pointed out a few issues that needed to be sorted (1. Front driver and passenger smash and grab. 2. boot board was cracked 3. boot had some over spray on the bolts that holds the bumper. A week later i fetched the car and it was raining very heavily that day and the whole week, everything went well as i was showed that whatever i had pin pointed was sorted but the smash n grab had some bubbles and that i need to park the vehicle in the sun fro the bubbles to go away and that i need not open the window for 24hrs.

2 weeks later i noticed that the rear bumper on the left was turning yellow and that the bumper was no longer aligning to the car. I called the salesman Mr Slayed and told him that this is the situation, the bubbles on the smash and grab that never went away and of the bumper. He advised that he will speak to management and keep me informed. The dealer agreed to have it sorted. They was to fetch the Auris from me and take it to their dealership to have it repaired. This only happened on the 14th of January 2020 as per agreement.

The salesman Mr Slayed on fetching the car made a note and seen for himself the problem. When the car returned to me on Friday the 17th of January 2020 the Auris had full over sprays all over the bumper, the smash and grab was not sorted and the car looked terrible as the bumper and rear left lights were now not aligned. I had shown this to the driver who agreed as he seen the problem for himself . Since Mr slayed was on leave i called and spoke to a lady named Gisela, she was adamant that she had inspected the car before they delivered to me and that she watched the guys re-installing the smash n grab which was clearly a lie. On the phone she had made arrangements with their driver to take the car somewhere to get the over spray sorted out. She had also contacted a company called CSI Auto trimmers to have the smash and grab re-installed. The guys from CSI also seen the terrible workmanship on the car and took out pics to send to the dealership. Now the bumper alignment still remains undone, so i contacted the salesman Mr Slayed on the Thursday the 23rd of January 2020 after his leave. Again i was advised that he would consult the manager and get back to me. He asked me to send the pics to him aswell. Later he informed me that they will not carry out anymore repairs to the car because i bought a used car and i need to expect these problems.

My argument to them is that there was nothing wrong with the alignment of the car parts before it left for repairs only that the color was becoming yellow, Now after doing what they did its a major problem and they refuse to sort it out as a result my car now looks terrible. This leaves to show what terrible workmanship and service Toyota has.
I will really appreciate if this matter could be taken some urgency or serious attention.

Toyota blizzard white pearl paint

I have a 2008 Highlander with Blizzard White Pearl Paint. The paint on the hood and roof has been peeling for years. The sides as of right now seem ok. I see on the internet that I am not the only person with this color paint problem. I think Toyota has a problem and should fix it. I like my car I have two of them. The tan one has great paint and polishes up nicely. No one will repaint just the bad parts because it will not blend properly. Apparently triple stage paint is a mess to work with. I would like Toyota to fix my car so I can be proud of it again. Now it is an eyesore.

Toyota toyota rav4 2007

I purchased a Toyota Rav 4 a 2007 from a car dealership around 2014 . I never received any information on a recall for engine burning oil. I have this vehicle andI am still paying on with only 150, 000 miles and the body is in excellent condition . It is burning a tank of oil in a week and I have tried with Toyota 2 different times to get some help and they tell me the recall expired in 2016. The problem is I was never notified that there was an issue. I have also purchased 2 more Rav 4s in the last 3 months, 2014's. The first one was in Oct 2019 and I was involved in a roll over accident and trapped hanging upside down in the seat belt and had to be extracted from the vehicle. I was release from the ER that same day with a few small injuries, Kudos to Toyota for their safety features. I replaced the car in Dec 2019 with another 2014 Rav 4.I love Toyotas and am extremely disappointed in the help resolving the issue with the 2007. Toyota paint peeling on my 2012 4runner

We bought a new Toyota 4runner in 2012 because of Toyota quality. We maintained all of the services and took great care in maintaining the vehicle. We have had no problems and have enjoyed the vehicle until now. The clear coat on the paint started peeling this year (see pictures). I'm 70 years old, retired military and have owned numerous vehicles over the years, many makes and models. I have never had the paint peel on any of them. This is making it hard to enjoy our vehicle as we have in the past. We are not in a position to trade it in or pay to have it repainted. The vehicle is only 8 years old, I think paint on a vehicle should last a lot longer than that.
We are hoping there is something you can do.

Hello,

Good day to whom it may concern. I have been a Toyota customer for over 20 years. My mileage and usage of vehicle is light.

Please see attached invoice, which I unfortunately paid to mechanic for my 2010 Rav 4 with 97339 miles on both November 19, 2019, and, December 30, 2019.

I am aware the 2010 Rav 4 has multiple recalls for suspension bar links; however, I have been told by Liberty Toyota Burlington NJ my VIN is not part of these recalls.

Please consider compensating me, in some manner, for referenced repair. I have been a repeat Toyota customer.

Now, I am reconsidering being a repeat Toyota customer, since the Toyota product has cost me both for replacement upper & lower radiator hoses, both rear stabilizer bars, and, both rear suspension strut & shock absorbers.

Toyota brakes

In oct 2018 took my rav4 to Toyota town on hammer Ln Stockton ca. Front & rear brake job. Returned twice because of rattle. They did not replace anti rattle clip and I was told they did not carry. Kept my car for couple days to fix. Now my complaint. Had my oil changed today (not at Toyota!) was told brakes needed pads replaced. I took my car to mechanic to check & he said pads were good but did I know that Toyota used aftermarket pads? He checked numbers on pads and they are not same as numbers on my work order. Is this legal to do? I took my car to Toyota because I wanted it to be done correctly. I am very disappointed. I complained in 2018 & now again for the same thing...questionable work. Toyota product and service complaint

My radio/GPS system just blanked out and started trying to reboot. Loving Toyota in Lufkin said it needed a software update. I was not told when I bought the car new this would happen. They also said it would cost $240 for the software and $65 to install it. This is pure and simple blackmail. The cost of the system was around $3000 new and now if I want to continue using it I will have to pay them $305 to use it. They nothing is wrong with the system just needs the update. Blackmail is a strong word but, that is what it is. Toyota has highjacked my radio and is blackmailing me for money to make it work again!
