I took my 2014 Honda CRV to Tony Honda for oil change
I took my 2014 Honda CRV to Tony Honda for oil change. Everything was good until ***, our service advisor, told us that the maintenance code recommended changing the transmission fluid. Trusting ***, we agreed and added almost $250 to the ***. The problem is that the car has less than *** miles. I did some research and Honda doesn't recommend changing the transmission fluid until 90K. It turns out that the code was the percentage of oil life we had left. My complaint is about the dishonest sales practices at Tony Honda. The extra $250 I spent didn't break the bank, but it wasn't something I needed even though that's what I was told. Tomorrow, I'm going to reach out to Tony Honda and see what their response is. I'll give them a chance to apologize and make it right, but my hopes aren't high. So beware of *** at Tony Honda.
I'm writing this review cuz Tony Honda made a mistake and I wanna see if they fix it
I'm writing this review cuz Tony Honda made a mistake and I wanna see if they fix it. I was approved for a 2021 Civic Hatchback sport and my payments were supposed to be $527 a month with my trade-in. When everything was done, the car was ready but I had to wait for finance to tell me if I could take it home. The sales lady said I could take it home and I had insurance. I called a week later but the sales lady said finance was on vacay. So I waited until the next week. Then I got a text saying I had to sign another contract. When I went to the dealership, I found out I wasn't approved and my monthly went up to $700. I'm still waiting for an answer. If not, I wanna return the car cuz it's not my fault we couldn't take it.

My wife, who's 70 and doesn't know much about cars, has been going to Tony Honda for 6 years to take care of her 2016 Honda Fit
My wife, who's 70 and doesn't know much about cars, has been going to Tony Honda for 6 years to take care of her 2016 Honda Fit. But that's gonna stop now. She only drove the car a little bit, but it still needed an oil change and some major maintenance at 30K miles. The service advisor on the phone convinced her to get a transmission fluid change and a cooling system flush, even though Honda doesn't recommend those services at 30K miles. They didn't even show her why she needed those things. Did the transmission fluid break down? Was there any visible corrosion or other problems with the cooling system? Who knows. They charged her $270 for the cooling system flush and $230 for the transmission fluid change, which is way more than what's fair. The Blue Book says it should be around $155-$183 for the cooling system flush and $165-$197 for the transmission fluid change. Tony Honda charged her 150% of what's fair, which is just wrong. She ended up spending 3 hours at the service center and paid $1100 for a new engine air filter, a new cabin air filter, 2 compressible washers, and some fluids she didn't even come in with. It's just not right.
