On 28 April 2025 I ordered and paid $1658.50 for a rebuilt Ford F150 4R75E transmission with upgraded torque convertor, extended warranty and tax from Toms River Transmissions website. The company failed to deliver the transmission in a timely manner with a litany of excuses. I canceled the order and requested a refund of $1658.50 on 12 June 2025. Mr Rizzo, via email, told me my refund was mailed on 27 June 2025. As of today, in spite of multiple email exchanges, I still have not received my refund. Mr Rizzo has not replied to my emails since 28 July 2025. Toms River Transmissions hooks customers by offering an industry-standard package are a much lower price than reputable and competent competitors. "It it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't" is what I experienced. I would not recommend that anyone consider doing business with Toms River Transmissions.
Desired outcome: I have a full-court press in progress to get my $1658.50 refund and have lodged complaints at the Federal, State and Local levels with both civil and government agencies and law enforcement.
