You guys are awesome, very professional and honest, and thank you for everything.

I went to Advanced Transmissions and Emissions for some car troubles and they did a great job fixing it. The mechanics there really know what they're doing. They were super helpful and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand.

The service was top-notch and they were really quick with the repairs. I didn't have to wait long at all. The prices were fair too, which is always a plus.

I highly recommend Advanced Transmissions and Emissions for any car problems you might have. They're the best in town!

They do bad bussiness. They are not honest. I recomend not getting work done at this shop.

I had a really bad experience with Advanced Transmissions and Emissions. They refused to release my vehicle to the tow truck company and even told me to go screw myself. The situation got even worse when one of their employees started banging on the tow truck driver's vehicle. I had to involve the police to finally get my property back.

Greg at Advanced Transmissions has been dishonest with customers by falsely claiming that certain parts in their transmissions were faulty. He would sell unnecessary parts to people who brought in cars with faulty speed sensors. Instead of just fixing the speed sensor, he would convince them to purchase an entire transmission, even when there was nothing wrong with it internally. Greg always boasts about being the cheapest option in town, but once your transmission is out, he takes advantage of the situation and raises the price. He even refers to himself as the "King Kauser" of cars. One customer brought in a Ford Freestyle with a CVT transmission and a bad flywheel, and Greg sold her a transmission for a whopping $4,300. This guy is a true crook. Despite his claims of being the cheapest, he is far from it.

Greg, the owner of Advanced Transmission and Emissions, charged me $2,300 to rebuild my transmission. But when I got it back, it shifted even worse than before. So, I took it back and they said they might have "rebuilt it too fast." Two days later, I picked it up again, and it was still shifting poorly. I brought it back and test drove it with Jack, the manager, who even admitted that it was still shifting badly.

I left my keys with them, and just 10 minutes later, I received a call from Greg blaming me for the issues. He said it was my fault because I must be abusing the transmission by stomping on the gas pedal. This accusation is completely false, and it doesn't explain why the shifting was bad as soon as I left the shop.

Now, he's threatening to void my warranty and not reinstall my transmission if he has to take it out again and finds it worn. He claims that my transcooler line is clogged in the radiator and that I need a new radiator. However, I took it to a different shop for testing, and they confirmed that this is not true.

I can't believe how poorly they treat their customers! I had to take an Uber home three times just to leave my truck with them, and yet, they're angry at me for something I didn't even do.

I had my vehicle towed to this place last week after talking to *** the owner. He told me he would beat any price and said he would rebuild my transmission for between $1400-$1700 plus $300 to reprogram it. Once they received it, I got a call from *** the technician at the company who is now telling me it's going to cost between $1600-$1800 plus, which is fine because I was already expecting it. About two hours after talking to *** the technician, the owner *** calls me and now says it's going to be $3000-$4000. He absolutely pulled a bait and switch scam on me and tried to double the expense on me. He said there were other codes showing other parts in the transmission needed to be replaced. That's an absolute lie because my mechanic scanned it beforehand with a snap-on scanner that's new and very expensive. Also, if the transmission was going to be completely rebuilt, then why would it cost more if there were actually other codes? Everything *** said to get our vehicle into his shop is a lie from the beginning. Now I'm out hundreds of dollars for towing. Run, don't walk away from this place. *** should be ashamed of trying to scam people like this. He should be honest or shut his doors.

I'm not very good at writing reviews, but I had to write one about this company called Advanced Transmissions and Emissions. It's a long review, but it's worth reading. I'm a 70-year-old retired aerospace engineer, and I'm not here to complain or cry about my bad experience with this place. I've been through tough times before, so I just want to give you a heads up and a warning before you decide to take your vehicle there. The shop, especially the owner, is all about making money. He'll use his many years of experience to get your business or make you get your car repaired there. They use this technique called "bait and switch," and they're really good at it. First, they bait you with friendly service and a reasonable price that can't be beaten. Once you agree to the price, they take out your transmission without you even realizing it. Then comes the switch. They double the initial price, and you're left with no choice. You either pay the new price or take your car somewhere else because you've fallen for their "bait and switch" trick. But here's where this shop takes it to the next level. They put your transmission in pieces in a box in your trunk, along with the drive shaft and other parts. The owner is still nice and willing to lower the price a bit to fix your car. If you don't agree, you have to pay a lot of money (in my case, $885) to get your car back. You can leave your car there for a few days while you figure out how to tow it, but then they charge you for storing it. It's a win-win situation for the shop. First, they bait you, then they switch it up, and if that doesn't work, they charge you an outrageous price to get your car back. Either way, you're going to leave a lot of money behind. And guess what? The owner only accepts cash for the final payment! I drove my car in, and it ended up being towed away with the transmission in pieces in the trunk, and I had to pay $885. It's like a sick joke, right? Luckily, I could afford it, but can you?

I'm only giving Advanced Transmissions a 1 star rating because zero is unavailable. I'd like to start off by saying that the owner of Advanced Transmissions informed me that he had an A+ rating with the ComplaintsBoard.com (a lie see for yourself 7 complaints in the last few months alone with an average score of less than 2 stars). My transmission went out in my car, and I was calling around for quotes. When I called Advanced Transmissions, they informed me that they had the best deal in town and they would match any shop that had a lower price. They quoted me a maximum price of $2,800 for the rebuild of my existing transmission. So I drove my truck down there and asked that they fix it for the agreed-upon price. I was told I had to pay $985 to allow them to inspect the transmission. Confused, I asked why charge me when we already agreed on a price. They told me that was just the company policy and the cost would be part of the total. 5-6 hours later, I get a call and they inform me the cost to rebuild my transmission was $5,300. Surprised, I asked how that was possible after being told the price was $2,800. They said they didn't know that I would need some parts that needed to be replaced and they were irregular in nature. So I called around armed with the "irregular parts" and asked what it would cost to replace. I found a company that would fix everything, including irregular parts, for $3,800. I asked if they would match the price, and they informed me that it was impossible another company would honor that price. So I provided the company name, contact, and address. They then stated they needed a printed copy of the quote, which I provided. They then informed me that they would not honor the price match. I asked them to put my truck back together so I can pick it up. They refused; I asked to speak to the owner. I was told I couldn't speak to the owner. So I came back to Advanced Transmissions to pick up my truck. I was told the owner had left for the day and I could not pick my truck up. I demanded they give me my keys and load the transmission in the bed of the truck. Once again, they refused. I informed them I would call the police because I had paid for a service they didn't complete and they were refusing to give me my property. They closed the shop early and kept my property. Thankfully, they parked my Sierra truck at a Whataburger parking lot across the street and didn't store it in their garage or storage yard. I had a separate set of keys, so I had it towed to another shop. I spoke to the owner the following morning, and they refused to send the keys and parts to the shop I requested. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any business. They should not be allowed to operate. They will lie mercilessly to anyone and raise the price on their customers after they take your vehicle apart in an attempt to bully customers into continuing the business relationship. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card, making a ComplaintsBoard.com complaint, and sharing my experience with everyone I know to prevent anyone else from going through the ordeal I endured.

Advanced Transmissions and Emissions rebuilt my transmission with faulty parts for the second time. The transmission completely failed, so I took it to another mechanic. He informed me that it had never been properly rebuilt, but rather just patched up temporarily until the warranty expired.

Greg K, the owner, totally scammed me! I brought my truck to his shop, and he started taking it apart. Then, out of nowhere, he doubled the estimate for a rebuilt transmission. Finally, after the police left to deal with another customer issue, I got my truck back. But guess what? The transmission doesn't work properly! This guy is a total crook. It leaks fluid, and I can't even read what the receipt says.

I took my 2012 *** to Advanced Transmissions and Emissions on July 12 for a transmission replacement, but it's still not fixed! The mechanic keeps telling me he needs more time. I gave him extra time, but when I arrived, he said it's still not fixed. Then he tried to get my warranty company to pay him before the work was completed! I called the police, but they couldn't do anything. They told him he needs to hurry up and fix my car and return it within 2 to 4 days... but there's still no progress! I really need some assistance.

I had my car transmission rebuilt at this shop. Before they started the job, I asked the owner how much it would cost in worst-case scenario. He told me it would be between $1500 and $2800. Then we agreed that he would call me the next day and give me the exact price. The next day, we met and he showed me my transmission, which was already on the table and separated. He then told me the price would be over $4000. I reminded him that we had agreed on a price between $1500 and $2800. He cheated me and charged me an extra $1200.

I got my car fixed at Advanced Transmissions and Emissions on *** Road. When I got it back, the car felt and sounded like it was grindin'. I took it back. While I was there, another customer came in with his pickup for the 3rd time and asked 'em to fix it right this time. They drove my car and said it was fine. I had 2 mechanics drive it and they said it definitely didn't sound or feel right. The business said the problem was the car needed motor mounts. The owner lied and said I refused that fix. Now, just 3 months later, the car don't move at all and sounds awful. Don't ever use this business, they do terrible work and ain't honest.

I had a problem with my customer's transmission, and I diagnosed it as an internal issue caused by too much metal debris in the oil pan. So, I called *** at Advanced Transmission to get a price for rebuilding the transmission. He quoted me $450 for labor, plus around 5-6 hundred for parts. I scheduled the repair for the week when my customer would be on vacation. The truck was still drivable for short trips, so I removed the transmission and took it to Advanced Transmission on 10/4. The next morning, *** called me and said it would cost $2266, which was more than double the estimate. Since the transmission was already there and taken apart, I agreed to the higher price. I picked up the transmission on 10/9 and paid $2266. I installed it on Saturday afternoon, and everything seemed fine until I tried driving it for the first time. As soon as the transmission tried to shift from first to second gear, it triggered a pressure switch fault and went into limp mode. I immediately called *** and explained the issue. He towed the truck to his shop and called me right away, saying that it was an electrical problem. He mentioned that they don't handle electrical repairs and suggested taking it to an auto electric shop. I actually have experience with electrical diagnostics myself, as it's one of my specialties. However, I didn't want to learn on this particular transmission, so I towed the truck back. It had a code for power supply issues, which *** claimed was causing the problem. However, that code never reappeared, and I believe they pulled the fuse to make it trigger the code. I think this because the power supply tested fine and the code never returned. If this 545RFE transmission had no power, it should have maximum *** pressure, but it's not capable of that. I have a video where I diagnose the transmission, and I showed it to *** once.
