Me and my husband bought a *** aviator from a car dealer in Beech Grove. We test drove the car before buying it, and the engine and transmission were strong, going back and forth smoothly. The dealer mentioned that the oxygen sensor, idler pulley, and canister purge solenoid needed to be fixed, but there were no sounds or warning lights. As soon as we got back from buying the *** aviator, we took it to In-N-Out Automotive. They said the same thing as the dealer we bought it from. We took it in on 4/24, and my husband and I picked up the truck. However, it had a loud noise to it, so I asked them to come look at my truck because it wasn't making that sound when they received it. Additionally, some parts were missing from my truck that were there when they got it. The man who fixed it asked what happened because the truck wasn't sounding like this when we brought it in. He took it back and inspected it, then informed me and my husband that there was a transmission problem and front parts were missing, even though they weren't when I dropped it off. I asked them to have the owner give me a call, and he did. I brought my truck back to In-N-Out for him to look at it. He drove it with just me in the truck, and then he called me back with an attitude, saying he wasn't going to fix it and that no parts were taken off my truck. We talked, and I told him we wouldn't go back and forth. I asked him what he could do to fix it, and he said he wouldn't fix the truck for free. It would cost $700 to get it fixed. I told him I didn't have that type of money and asked if I could do a payment plan. I stressed to him that if there were parts missing from our truck, why didn't he mention it when we first brought it to his shop? Why did he only tell me the second time they looked at our truck? He said he thought I knew that parts were missing. They made my truck sound worse. They fixed something and broke something else so that people would come back to them. This is not right. My truck is messed up, and I need my money back. I'll take it somewhere else. I have proof that they messed up my truck. The owner of In-N-Out Automotive was being rude and unfair. I just want my money back.
