Tires Plus Total Car Care review: Complaint

It took me a few weeks to get time to write this about my experience with you last. I am a busy guy and don't get much time to go somewhere and warn others about your estimate of repairs. Foolish, I would say, indeed. I have been getting service and buying parts with you ever since I've been in the same zip code in 2017. I've always loved the fact that you're very close to my home so I can get rides to and fro a little easier when I take either one of my three vehicles into your 9705 So. Virginia Street location in Reno, NV (near WinCo Foods). I have seen a lot of personnel turnover in that time too. That may be for various reasons. I recently this year, in our highest times of inflation in the US, I needed to get several expensive items done with you - 1. New Tires w great ratings. 2. Complete Brake overhaul on my 08 Honda Ridgeline. I just spent over $3400 on those 2 services alone and I did pay balance completely at time of service. Then, my radiator blows a leak just a month ago on the same truck, I take it in to you, which... I have to point out that the 'counter sales/transaction employee' that's normally there has a lot to beg for friendly service and courteous notifications. Anyway, I dropped my truck off for as long as you needed it to properly analyze the problems in the coolant leakage. I just need it back with no leaks, whenever that is.

I get a quote from you that I knew deepdown was too bogus of a situation and I didn't trust in you from that moment when I looked at the estimate. You told me the truck would need a new radiator, a whole new water pump assembly, new timing belt, and a few other minor costs on that.

I had recently replaced the timing belt and the water pump about a year before with low miles in that year. They are sturdy parts I know, so I had my truck towed from your shop to Mike's Automotive Perfection that only saw a bad radiator. Nothing else. Saved me over $1200 in one time to go get another opinion. #WTF I can't come back
