I bought 2 tickets to UCONN vs PVD women's basketball game 12/31/25 in Providence. Overpriced for sure, but valid and no problem getting in to see the game. My complaint relates to reserving parking in a nearby garage. $59 was a super expensive, but I wanted to make sure I had a space, so I paid it at the same time I bought the tickets online. I received a receipt for parking, the same as I did for my seats. When I tried to exit the parking garage after the game, I was told that I owed money to get out. I said I'd already paid $59 to Tickets Center. The garage let me out, with my promise that I'd send them proof of payment, which seemed odd. The short version of the story is that Metropolis Parking (who let me out of the garage) said I owed them for 12/31/25, and then texted me that I owed another $55 late fee on 01/02/26. So someone at Tickets Center charged me $59 for parking that they had no connection with, and kept my money. I told Metropolis that I have no intention of paying them since I already paid Tickets Center. I don't know if I'll hear anything more from them.
My Warning: I was a FOOL for paying for reserved parking. Unlike a ticket for a seat at a game, there's nothing tangible to prove the purchase was legit. I was scammed, and I hope folks read this and learn from my mistake. Don't be a fool. Tickets Center has NOTHING to do with parking!
