I have ordered a variety of items---candy, cookies, a dress, towels, sheets, etc.---all were of very good quality. The service was quick most of the time and courteous. The prices are high, but there are many things that are fairly hard to find.

Vermont Country Store... two words: Original Ovaltine... YUM! And healthy!

I have been ordering from them since before the internet was available, so that's pretty cool. They do have things that rotate, but I truly love ordering from them... good bargains on impossible-to-find items from Ole fashioned ribbon candy to footwear. And if there is anything from your childhood that you remember and can't find it now? I bet you would have a good chance of finding it there.

I received the robe that I ordered a couple days ago. It is exactly as described on your website. Just the right length with long enough sleeves to take one fold to be perfect. The cotton material is super soft and I know I'll get many years of wear from it. My terry, ankle length robe is too warm for all but the coldest days and my knee length cotton robe is great for really warm days. This one is great for everything in between. Thanks for the super fast shipping too.

The Vermont Country Store is a great place to shop for all your needs. They have a wide variety of products that are sure to meet your needs. However, I must say that their customer service team needs to change the hold music they play. I was on hold for 25 minutes and had to listen to the ramblings of an elderly man. The music was so bad that it sounded like it was recorded back when women couldn't vote. It was enough to make anyone want to jump out of the window.

If you want people to trust your company, you need to improve your customer service. Stop making it seem like your company hasn't yet discovered sliced bread. Your customers should not have to suffer through bad music before they speak to your customer support team. If you make these changes, you will improve everyone's experience.

So, I had a bit of a problem with The Vermont Country Store and I wanted to share my experience with you all. I sent them a couple of emails a few days ago, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I was hoping they would respond soon, but it's been a couple of days now and still no word.

I had requested that they cancel my shipment, but unfortunately, I received a message a few days later saying that the item had already been sent and was scheduled for delivery today. I was a bit frustrated because I really didn't want the item anymore, but I had no choice but to wait for it to arrive.

When I checked the UPS tracking information today at around 2 pm, it said that the package had been delivered at 12:30 pm. However, when I checked my doorstep, it was nowhere to be found. I was really upset and didn't know what to do, so I tried to contact UPS. Unfortunately, I couldn't speak to a person and the computer just kept telling me that the package had been delivered.

I decided to try the "Live Chat" option on The Vermont Country Store website, but I had to wait for a while before someone joined the conversation. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I got tired of waiting and decided to send another message. I don't have much hope that I'll ever get a response, but I'm still holding out hope.

Overall, I would say that if you're thinking about ordering from The Vermont Country Store, you might want to think twice. My experience hasn't been great, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I've been through.

I just bought a flannel robe from Vermont Country Store and I'm not too happy about it. I got the XL size in white with cardinals, which I already had in a different color. I thought it would be the same size, but it's not. It's way smaller and barely fits me. I'm pretty disappointed, but I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. So, if you're thinking of buying from this store, be careful! I don't think I'll be shopping here again, especially since I found the same robe for $40 less somewhere else. I'm not impressed at all. I wish I could show you a picture, but the site won't let me. It's the same one in their catalog and it says it runs large, but that's not true. I don't recommend this product and I'm now skeptical about the sizing of all their other items. It's too bad because I used to be a loyal customer.

So, I recently bought two products from The Vermont Country Store and they asked me to share my thoughts about them. But, when I tried to post my review, they blocked it, saying that I had to disable my ad blockers. I found this strange because I have never had this issue with other websites.

Anyway, I bought the Tangee Lipstick and Tangee Blush Compact from them, and I have to say, they were a complete waste of money! The smell was absolutely disgusting, like it came from a sketchy place. I couldn't get rid of the smell fast enough! And to make matters worse, the products were made outside of the country and the powder seemed to be ancient! When I tried to use the compact, the powder just flew out of it and made a mess.

I wouldn't recommend buying anything from The Vermont Country Store, even though they claim to have a tradition of quality. In my experience, there was no quality in the two items I purchased. It was just a waste of money! And don't expect them to show negative reviews on their website, because they won't!

I just got my hands on 2 panels of the Macrame Medallion Tier Curtains from The Vermont Country Store and I gotta say, they are so pretty! I've had these curtains before from another store, but the length of the tiers was always uneven. It was such a bummer! But, when I received my order from The Vermont Country Store today, I was thrilled to see that both panels were the SAME length! I was so worried that they wouldn't be, but they were! I was over the moon!

I also ordered 2 of the Colebrook valances and they are lovely. They look so nice in my kitchen. I already have 2 of the Macrame Medallion panels in another window in my kitchen, but they are not the same length at all. They came from another store that recently closed. I'm pretty picky about my curtains, so I'm definitely going to order 2 more of the right length macrame tiers from The Vermont Country Store. They really know how to carry quality curtains.

I received my order in a very timely fashion and I will definitely order from The Vermont Country Store again! Their service is great and their products are top-notch.

I recently had an experience with The Vermont Country Store that left me feeling quite disappointed. I placed an order for two bags of soda crackers on October 21st, 2021, and received a confirmation email shortly after. The total cost of my order was $20.85, which I paid for with my credit card.

A few days later, I received an email from The Vermont Country Store with a tracking number and the message that the label had been created. The following day, I received another email stating that my order had been shipped. However, as of today, October 27th, 2021, UPS has not yet picked up my package, and USPS has no record of it either. I have contacted both companies and have sent The Vermont Country Store four emails about the issue, but have not received a satisfactory response.

I even had an online chat with their customer service team yesterday, and was told that my order had been shipped on October 22nd, 2021, but their second email to me stated that it had been shipped on October 23rd, 2021. I checked my credit card statement and saw that they had charged me the full amount of $20.85.

After looking at their reviews, I can see why they only have a two and a half star rating. During my chat with their customer service team, I told them that I would never order from them again, and I plan to call them today to try to resolve the issue.

Overall, I would caution others to be wary of The Vermont Country Store. They do not seem to be truthful about the status of their orders, and their customer service leaves much to be desired. I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with The Vermont Country Store. I ordered some slippers for my wife, but I messed up and got the wrong size. So I used their return label, which cost me about $8, and it took a whole two weeks before they even let me know they got the slippers back. And then, get this, they said they'd send me the right size, but a whole month went by and I still didn't get anything. So I emailed customer service, and they told me that the slippers had gone up in price and that they needed my credit card number to pay the difference. And then they said I had to call them to talk to someone about it! So I called, and they told me they needed another $20 to send me the slippers! Can you believe that? They added on the return label charge, the price difference, and the shipping to me. I was so mad! Their customer service is terrible-they don't communicate, they scam you on returns, and they're a total rip-off. I'm never shopping there again! They have all these hidden fees they don't tell you about, and they obviously don't care about making their customers happy or doing business in a timely manner. In my opinion, they're a completely worthless company. So if you're thinking about buying from them, be careful!

Yo, so I was trying to find out who makes the Heavy-Duty Steel Toenail Clipper from The Vermont Country Store and they straight up wouldn't tell me! Like, what's the deal with that? They say they're made in Solingen, Germany, but won't say who makes them. That's sketchy if you ask me. I mean, I wanna know who's making the stuff I'm buying, you know?

And then, to top it off, they just ended the chat like it was no big deal. Like, excuse me, I'm a paying customer here! I don't appreciate being treated like that. So, I gotta say, this store ain't got a clue about how to treat their customers right. They say they guarantee 100% satisfaction, but that's just a bunch of baloney! I bought my sister some PJs for Christmas, but they were the wrong size. So, I sent them back and filled out the return sheet asking for an exchange. I called them up to ask what was going on, but the manager (I think her name was Carol) was super rude and tried to blame me for everything! She didn't even apologize or take any responsibility for their mistakes! I just want my money back for the PJs I returned and the charge they made on my account. But, she hung up on me before I could even finish talking! I can tell you one thing for sure, they don't care about their customers at all! If you want to buy something like this, go to LLBean instead. Trust me.

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with The Vermont Country Store. I ordered a couple pairs of flannel sleep pants during the Co-vid pandemic, and let me tell ya, it was a real gamble. I mean, who knows what kind of shenanigans are going on in those shipping departments these days?

Anyway, they sent me two pairs of pants, but one of them was clearly messed up. The flannel material wasn't sewn over the entire elastic waistband, so parts of the elastic were exposed and one of the pull ties was longer than the other. Not a great look, if you ask me. And to make matters worse, they didn't include the necessary paperwork for a return.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Why didn't you just return them, dummy?" Well, let me tell you, Co-vid had me all kinds of paranoid. I didn't want to risk going to the post office or anything like that. Plus, I didn't even have a box or envelope to send them back in. So I just kept 'em.

Big mistake. After wearing the defective pants a few times, they started ripping. That elastic was never covered properly from the get-go, and it was only a matter of time before disaster struck. Meanwhile, the other pair of pants I had ordered were still holding up just fine.

I tried to contact The Vermont Country Store about the issue, but they weren't having it. They basically blamed me for not returning the pants sooner, even though I explained my Co-vid concerns. And here's the kicker: I have a sneaking suspicion that they might have sent me someone else's worn, returned pants instead of new ones. Why else would they leave out the order confirmation paperwork that would have been my proof?

All in all, I wouldn't recommend The Vermont Country Store to anyone. They might advertise that they guarantee your satisfaction, but that was definitely not the case for me. Proceed at your own risk, folks.

I also love how they just ended the conversation. Should be an easy question to answer and makes me wonder why they are hiding this information. Maybe they need to be investigated. So this store has no clue how customer service works and their 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed is a joke! I bought a Xmas gift of PJs for my sister. Wrong size I returned them and in the return sheet it asks if I wanted a return or exchange. I did an even exchange. Weeks after they received my return I just got a phone call. She said I got your return, we take 7.95 off your return amount for shipping. Ok, not happy about that. I was then told I will get back 62 dollars and she could not put on my card because it is expired. She wanted a new card. Ok, so I figured instead of exchange I was being refunded. So I have it. Lo and behold ext day I had a 69.95 charge on my account. I called looking for an explanation. As of days later that charge went through. So as of Thursday I now paid for 2 pairs of PJs and had NONE! I asked to
Speak to manager( name sounds like carol) who was rude, condescending and trying to turn this around onto me! No apologies just a rude demeanor which was unacceptable to me. Proceed At Your Own Risk ? Two years ago?during Co-vid?I ordered two pair of flannel sleep pants from The Vermont Country Store (total cost of $90). They sent me two pair but one pair was obviously defective or previously worn and returned because the flannel material should have been sewn over the entire elastic waist band. It wasn't. So parts of the elastic were exposed in the waistband and one of the pull ties was longer than the other. Their Shipping Dept omitted the necessary (shipping) paperwork needed for proof of return. Due to Co-Vid concerns, I didn't return them and I also didn't have a box or a mailing envelope. Flash forward to more recently, I wore the defective sleep pants a few times and the pants began ripping because that elastic was never covered completely from Day 1. The other pair of sleep pants that I had worn all along are still fine. I contacted The Vermont Country Store several times and I was blamed for not returning them in a more timely manner. Another possibility is that, they could have been worn by another customer for a period of time, and their Shipping Department substituted these worn, returned sleep pants for sleep pants that should have been new. It's suspicious to me that their shipping paperwork/Order Confirmation was not included in the bag. That Order Confirmation would have been my proof. It was rather convenient not to include it. The Vermont Country Store advertises that they guarantee your satisfaction but that wasn't true in this case.

This store is a real mess. I had a terrible time with my order. They couldn't even get it right and some of the things I wanted were out of stock. Then they went ahead and charged me again without my permission. It's just not right. And don't even get me started on the long wait time on the phone. That fake Vermont accent was so irritating. I don't think I'll ever shop at Vermont Country Store again. They just can't seem to get it together. I don't trust them at all. But you can decide for yourself.

Vermont Country Store (VCS) used to be a real good catalog mail order company, but now they're not so good. I ordered a dress from them and they said they'd send me an email when it shipped. I ain't never gonna buy another gift from The Vermont Country Store. They got this policy for returning gifts that's just plain crazy. I got my sister a surprise gift that didn't fit and when I returned it, they didn't reimburse me the $60 I spent. Their billing person told me that they reimbursed the third party who delivered the gift to my sister. They said it's because they don't want nobody's feelings to get hurt if their gift don't work out. But now I can't get that third party check and I'm out of $60. The Vermont Country Store needs to get their act together and stop trying to be all fancy like Emily Post. They need to focus on good customer service and not making things difficult for their customers.

I was looking to buy some stuff and I tried to talk to someone on the website to see if they had any deals for new customers. They said they had free shipping, but that's something they give to everyone. I asked if they would give me the sale price if the stuff I wanted went on sale before they shipped it for the holidays, but they said no. So basically, they don't do anything special for new customers, which is fine, but it didn't make me want to buy from them. The person I was chatting with didn't even say hi or try to help me out. They just disappeared before I could ask my last question. I wasn't impressed and I'm going to buy from somewhere else. I don't know if their stuff is any good because I didn't get that far.
