Paula Young Paula Young Review: Frustrating Customer Service and Damaged Clearance Wigs - Not Recommended

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Paula Young. Every time I call them up, it's like talking to a brick wall. I mean, I come prepared with all the details they need - order numbers, dates, you name it - but it's like they don't even listen to me. They just keep asking the same dumb questions over and over again. It's like, come on, people, get with the program!

Just the other day, I ordered a couple of wigs and decided to change the color of one of them. I made it crystal clear that I wanted to change the color before they shipped the wigs out. But did the customer service rep listen? Nooooo. She went on and on about how I couldn't return the wigs if they were damaged. I mean, what the heck does that have to do with anything? It was like talking to a robot or something.

Now I'm stuck waiting for my wigs to arrive, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be the wrong ones. And then I'll have to deal with those clueless customer service reps all over again. Ugh, it's enough to make me want to pull my hair out!

Honestly, I think Paula Young needs to step up their game. They should hire some reps who actually speak English and know how to listen to their customers. It's just too frustrating to deal with them otherwise. And don't even get me started on their clearance wigs - they're almost always damaged returns. What a ripoff!

All in all, I wouldn't recommend Paula Young to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Paula Young Terrible Customer Service and Subpar Wigs: My Experience with Paula Young

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Paula Young. Their customer service is just plain rude and unhelpful. It took them a whole month to get my wig to me, and when I wanted to exchange it, they took even longer than that to handle it. And get this - they charge you a restocking fee, even if you send the wig back the same day you got it! And they start counting the days from the day you purchased it, even if they don't receive it until two weeks later. What a ripoff!

But the worst part is, the wigs themselves are pretty subpar. I mean, I've ordered from other wig companies and gotten much better quality wigs in less than a week. And their customer service is actually helpful and friendly! I don't know why I bothered with Paula Young in the first place.

And to top it all off, they charged my credit card more than the wig actually cost, and it took forever for them to fix the mistake. It tied up my credit for weeks! I ordered from wig.com, but it turns out they're just a front for Paula Young. I won't be making that mistake again.

So yeah, if you're looking for a wig, I'd recommend going somewhere else. Paula Young is just not worth the hassle. And don't even get me started on that ridiculous restocking fee.

Paula Young Warning: Terrible Experience with Paula Young - They Stole My Money!

Paula Young is not a company that I would recommend to anyone. I had a terrible experience with them when I ordered a wig on the deferred payment plan. Unfortunately, before my payment was due, my card was hacked. I immediately contacted PY to give them my new card number so that they could charge me when my payment was due. However, the woman on the phone told me that she couldn't take my new card number for some reason.

On the day my deferred payment was scheduled to come out, the transaction was declined. I had also placed an order the night before with my new card, but PY declined my order due to my old card not going through. The problem is that even though they canceled my order, they still charged me for the product. I have never received the product, and the charges are still on my card. They basically stole my money, which amounted to $74.00. As of today, I have not received the funds back.

I have called PY's financial department, but they have been absolutely no help. They said they never took the money out, which is a lie because I called my bank, and they are trying to resolve this issue. It has been almost a month now, and I am still waiting for my money to be returned.

I just want to warn people about Paula Young. They steal money from their customers, and their customer service is terrible. If you are thinking about ordering from them, beware. You might end up losing your money like I did.

Paula Young Unfair Return Policy and Deceptive Practices: My Experience with Paula Young Wigs

I recently had an experience with Paula Young and I must say, it was not a good one. My elderly mother has been struggling with hair loss and is very self-conscious about it. Since she cannot get out much and does not drive anymore, we decided to order a wig from Paula Young's website. We were told that we could try the wig on and return it if it did not fit or look good on her. However, when the wig arrived, it had no clips in the front to keep it on her head and it kept popping off. We called to complain and were told that we would have to pay $9.95 for shipping to return it.

We were shocked to find out that if we ordered three wigs and returned them all, it would cost us $30 just to return them. This was ridiculous! My mother is on a fixed income and we could not afford to pay that much just to return a wig. We decided to order just one wig, but it still cost us over $56. When we called to return it, Paula Young kept $24.19 of my mother's money and we were left with no wig to cover her head. We felt like we were being taken advantage of and it was really sad to see a company do this to people who are already suffering.

To make matters worse, we were not told that we should not cut out the tags on the wig. We did not cut them out, but we were still charged $24 to send it back. The lady on the phone did not tell us that it would cost that much to return it, she just said it would be $9.95 for shipping. This was a lie and we felt like we were being deceived.

Overall, I would not recommend Paula Young to anyone. If you are thinking of buying from them, be careful. They will charge you a lot to take it back if you do not like it. It is really sad to see a company take advantage of people who are already suffering.

Paula Young Paula Young Review: Shady Sales Tax and Frustrating Returns

I gotta tell ya, my experience with Paula Young has been a real bummer. I mean, I've read a bunch of reviews that say the same thing, so I know I'm not alone. But seriously, this company has lost my trust. And now they're playing games with the sales tax they charge? Come on, man. If you've ever had to return something to them, you know how frustrating it can be. Their customer service is slow as molasses, and you never know how much they're gonna credit you for. It's like a surprise every time. And now they're keeping a chunk of the sales tax you paid for something you're returning? That's just shady, man. When I asked them about it, the Customer Service Supervisor said it's allowed in certain states. What kind of nonsense is that? I'm gonna have to check with my state's Department of Revenue to see if that's even legal. I'm just curious, you know?

And don't even get me started on their "Delivery Surcharge Pass-Through" charge. First it was a COVID charge, and now it's this? Give me a break. When I asked the same supervisor about it, she started rambling on about some explanation that made no sense to me. I think even she knew it was a ripoff, but she couldn't say it out loud. The reason I'm writing this review is because I had to go through so much frustration just to return two wigs. And now I have no idea if they're gonna credit my card or not. Like, seriously? I'm gonna have to get my credit card company involved just to get my money back. It's ridiculous.

I've been buying from Paula Young for a while now, and I've returned everything I've bought except for one wig that I've purchased like five or six times. It's the only one I can trust to be wearable and look good. But even that one doesn't last very long and I have to replace it often. I thought I'd try a new style from them, but it was the same old poor quality they're becoming known for. I guess I never learn. I'm gonna try to find a replacement for my favorite style from another company so I can avoid Paula Young altogether. Their customer service is just as bad as their products, but I guess it's not an easy job dealing with that kind of stuff.

Paula Young Paula Young Review: The Hair Solution for Medical Hair Loss and More!

Paula Young done saved my life, y'all! For real though, I had some medical hair loss goin' on and I was gettin' self-conscious about it when I had to go out and about. But then I found out about Paula Young and all the wigs and hair pieces they got goin' on over there - and let me tell you, they got some good stuff!

It ain't just wigs and pieces though - they got extensions and all kinds of accessories and whatnot too. And I gotta tell ya, the colors they offer are somethin' fierce. They got all kinds of different shades - highlights, lowlights, and even root colors. And they got like 30 different basic colors to choose from too, so there's somethin' for everyone.

And don't even get me started on the different lengths and styles they offer. You want somethin' that's short and sweet? They gotcha covered. You wanna rock some long locks? They gotchu too. And everything in between! Straight, wavy, curly - they got it all.

But what I really appreciate about Paula Young is the customer service. They been solid with me every time I had a question or somethin' wasn't quite right. And I been a happy customer ever since I started using their products.

All in all, if you need some help fixin' up your hair game, I highly recommend checkin' out Paula Young. They got what you need!

Paula Young Disappointing Customer Service from Paulayoung.com - Would Not Recommend

So, I recently had an experience with paulayoung.com and let me tell you, it was less than stellar. I ordered a wig, but unfortunately it never arrived. When I reached out to customer service, they told me they would send another one. I explained that it would arrive too late and I didn't want it, but they insisted that they cannot cancel the order, only ship a new one and then I could return it. After much back and forth, I finally agreed on the condition that I would not have to pay for return shipping.

When I received the wig too late and returned it, they only refunded me for the wig and deducted the return shipping fee. After 3 phone calls, I was only refunded for the wig, leaving me still short the shipping fee. I have called them several times since then, but each time they give me another excuse such as "our office hours are over" or "call back tomorrow" or "the check has been written out but not mailed yet." It has been weeks and I still have not received my refund.

I must say, I am incredibly disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this site. They don't deserve even one star for their lackluster customer service.

Paula Young Paula Young Review: Terrible Customer Service & Bait-and-Switch Tactics. Stay Away!

I HAD A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH PAULA YOUNG. I ORDERED SOME WIGS BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. AND THEN I SAW THAT THEY CHARGED MY CARD FOR WIGS I DIDN'T EVEN ORDER! I TRIED EMAILING THEM BUT THEY DIDN'T RESPOND. IT TOOK ME WEEKS TO FINALLY GET A HOLD OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAID? THEY SAID THEY'RE BEHIND ON SHIPPING ORDERS BUT THAT THEY HAD SENT MY ORDER. BUT I NEVER GOT IT! SO I ASKED THEM TO CREDIT MY CARD FOR ALL THE ORDERS, EVEN THE ONES I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE. BUT THEY WOULDN'T DO IT. INSTEAD, THEY SAID THEY WOULD SHIP THE ORDER "SOME TIME." I SAID NO THANKS, AND ASKED FOR A CREDIT INSTEAD. BUT THEY REFUSED AGAIN. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? I FINALLY TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO REFUSE THE ORDER AT THE POST OFFICE. AND GUESS WHAT THEY SAID? THEY TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE A $19 REFUSAL CHARGE PLUS A 25% RESTOCKING FEE! HOW IS THAT FAIR? I FEEL LIKE THEY WERE TRYING TO DO A BAIT-AND-SWITCH ON ME. I'M REALLY FRUSTRATED AND DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE. STAY AWAY FROM PAULA YOUNG, FOLKS.

Paula Young My Terrible Experience with Paula Young Wigs: Cheap Quality, Wrong Color, Janky Cut, and Zero Customer Service

Omg, let me tell you about my experience with Paula Young. I've bought 2 wigs from them and both times I got screwed. Straight up. The first wig was a disaster. It didn't look like hair at all. It was all shiny and looked like something you'd see on a cheap Halloween costume. It was fked up. I was so pissed. But, being the hopeful woman I am, I decided to try again and order a second wig. BIG. MISTAKE.

First of all, I had to wait TWO WHOLE MONTHS for the damn thing to get to me. And when it finally did, it wasn't even the right color! Like, I'm not colorblind or anything so I know what I ordered and what I got were completely different. And the cut...oh don't even get me started on the cut. It was so janky, it looked like it was done with safety scissors by a 5-year-old. I was livid.

To make matters worse, they didn't even offer FREE SHIPPING for my trouble. Like, what kind of [censored] is that? I had to pay extra for the Covid surcharge and the sales tax. So, what started out as a $56 wig ended up costing me $74. And let's not forget the return shipping. They didn't provide a label so I had to pay for that too. No customer service, no apologies, nothing. It's like they didn't even care that their product was totally fked up.

Needless to say, I will NEVER be doing business with Paula Young again. They are not customer-friendly and their wigs are trash. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Paula Young Buyer Beware: Paula Young's Return Policy is Deceptive and Customer Service Nonexistent

So, I gotta tell y'all about my experience with Paula Young. Lemme tell ya, be real careful when you're buying from them. They talk a good talk about their return policy, but they don't walk the walk. I got four wigs from them - two of 'em were on clearance, so I knew I was only gonna get store credit if I had to return 'em. The other two though, I was told could be refunded.

So, I followed every instruction they gave me for the return process. I sent those wigs back and waited for my refund. But then, I got an email saying I was only gonna get store credit for the two wigs that were supposed to be refunded. What kinda crap is that? I've been trying to reach customer service to sort this out, but it's been like talking to a brick wall. No one's answering my emails or my calls.

And to top it all off, one of the wigs ended up gettin' changed to a clearance item after I bought it. They're being real sneaky about it all, and I ain't havin' it. I'm gonna have to get my credit card company involved just to get my money back.

Honestly y'all, I'm so disappointed with Paula Young. They're not givin' me the competent customer service I dang well deserve. Be safe out there, folks.

Paula Young Redemption Achieved: Paula Young's Customer Service Goes Above and Beyond

I purchased like 4 big bottles of hairspray from these peeps 'cause there was a good sale going on, you know? But man, was I let down by the whole shebang. Firstly, I had a free shipping coupon code but when I got the email confirmation, it was gone like the wind. Then the stupid tracking number they gave me didn't work at all - like it was taking me to nowhere, you feel me? The cherry on top was when the order never showed up in my history on their site - and I've ordered from them before, mind you. Finally, when I got the bottles, they were just chucked into the box with zero padding, and one of them was leaky. Plus, the ads they included were stuck to the wet bottle, and they dried weird and looked like garbage.

But then, all of a sudden, I got an email from Paula Young, saying they were sorry about what went down. They hooked me up with a credit for free shipping (which actually worked), and they gave me another bottle of hairspray. Hey, I'm willing to give people a second chance, you know? I think they totally redeemed themselves by sending that email and making things right. Maybe somebody had a crappy day or whatever. Thanks to their quick response and solid remedial actions, I'd happily shop with PaulaYoung.com again - and I'd tell anyone else who's thinking about it to go for it, too. Props to y'all, Paula Young!

Paula Young Hit or Miss Wigs: My Experience with Paula Young

I been buyin' some wigs from Paula Young and let me tell ya, it's been a bit of a hit or miss situation. Sometimes the wigs look nothin' like the picture and other times they're so threadbare ya can see the cap. Now, I ain't got no problem with payin' a restockin' fee if I change my mind 'bout the style or color, but if it don't even look like the picture, I shouldn't be stuck with it. Last month I spent a hunnid bucks on a wig and it was supposed to have barrel curls around the face, but what I got was some curly shag cut. The color was okay though, but if I send it back, I only get about $60 back 'cause of the restockin' fee. And on top of that, the wig is so threadbare ya can see the cap. I'm goin' through chemo right now which has destroyed my hair, and I'm too sick and tired to argue with customer service. I gotta sew in hair just to try and hide the cap and it's just a mess.

Now, I ain't sayin' every wig I bought was a total disaster, but 'round half of 'em didn't work out. And that ain't fair, 'cause I feel like they're takin' advantage of me. I included a photo so ya'll can see what I'm talkin' 'bout. It may be small, but you can see the white bands of the cap all 'round the top. It's like this all over and it's really not cool.

Overall, I'd say Paula Young is a little bit of a gamble. Sometimes ya get a good wig, but other times ya end up with a mess. Just be warned that their customer service ain't the best and ya might end up havin' to settle for a wig ya don't even like.

Paula Young Paula Young's Website: Not Worth the Discount - My Review

So, I was looking for a wig and I came across Paula Young's website, paulayoung.com. I saw a pamphlet for $39.00 and thought I'd hit the jackpot. However, when I went to the website, the price nearly doubled and there was no code key to use for the discount that was offered to me in the mailer. I wasn't too keen on mailing a check, because who knows what could happen with it? So, I decided to use my credit card.

After three whole weeks, Paula Young finally sent me a postcard to let me know that the item was out of stock. I was really upset because why would they advertise an item in a mailer for one price and then charge a different price on their website for the same item number? It just doesn't make sense to me. And to top it off, they made it almost impossible for me to get the quoted price and then told me they didn't even have the item in stock.

Overall, I'm not saying don't shop at Paula Young's website, but I am warning you that you might not get what you were looking for at the quoted price. It seems to me that Paula Young reels people in with great prices and then doesn't follow through on their end. Just be careful if you decide to shop there.

Paula Young Paula Young review: Inconsistent Shipping and Poor Quality Wigs - Save Your Money!

My mom had been a Paula Young faithful, but the last purchase she made had legit crappy product quality with numerous clip-ins that were more of a hindrance than a help. I am almost fifty-fifty when it comes to trying out new stores or sticking to the brands I know. But when Paula Young inexplicably charged me twice while not openly giving me free shipping, my confidence in them hit an all-time low.

My very first order had the same offer of free shipping and my coupon code was accepted. However, when I received my bill, it wasn't at the rate shown on screen, they added the shipping fees with no warning. They told me that the initial charge would be dropped when my order shipped and that was both aggressive and lacking in empathy. I promptly emailed their customer service, which was clearly underwhelming and had to send them codes I used so they would rectify their mistake.

On the second order, I attempted to get free shipping again with a coupon code, but yet again, there was a shipping fee charge added to the bill. I had already compounded my error by not waiting to see how my first order would pan out. I noticed that each wig was of poor quality and totally not worth their prices with little strands standing out and the wefts being all too visible. Initially, I wanted to cancel the second order, but they told me it shipped on 2/10 and should arrive 2/14. But as it stands, it is 2/19/22 and in collaboration with Pitney Bowes who works with USPS, nobody is sure when my delivery would be made.

Due to Paula Young's various shipping inconsistencies, it is unlikely that I will be using their services again and I would highly suggest you don't make the same mistake I made. Despite all the hassle, all I have to say is that for a simple and affordable wig use Amazon, they are much better than Paula Young. Plus, you don't have to go through the tedious process of returning a product because of poor quality.

Paula Young Hit or Miss: My Experience with Paula Young Wigs - The Good, The Bad, and The Discontinued

Paula Young Wigs, let me tell ya, they got some hits and some misses. But what really grinds my gears is the fact that every time they come out with a banger wig, they discontinue it for no reason! Like, what's the deal with that, am I right? It's like they get great reviews and then, poof, into the clearance bin they go. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life! Their wigs usually look like they belong in some 50s housewife ad, but when they do have a good one, they toss it away like yesterday's trash.

Now, let me tell you about what I love in a wig - no itchiness. And for some reason, Paula Young seems to love that itchy, scratchy, poufy mess they call "Perma-Tease" or "Perma Lift". Let me tell you, it should be called "Perma-Scratch" or "Perma-Itch". But I guess some people like having poufy, stiff, scratchy "hair". Their discontinued wigs were the best though - the Sheer Vogue was one of my faves. It was hand-tied, full monofilament, and had thin, realistic fibers. And the craziest thing? They sold them at such low prices, like $60 low! But instead of keeping them and raising the price, they just discontinued them. I don't get it. They do the same thing for any great wig, like the Sheer Heidi. Both of them were in the Couture Collection, and they even had soft stretchy net caps that could fit anyone.

But of course, people will nitpick anything - some people say the wigs tend to lose some of the hair at the crown and along the part, but that happens with all wigs. The itchy, scratchy, poufy stuff just covers up the loss. But personally, I can't stand that stuff. If I'm gonna wear a wig, I want it to look as natural as possible. My wigs from Paula Young have been amazing though - straight, wavy, curly, you name it. And they don't have that awful itchy, scratchy, poufy stuff in them. Let me tell you, no one wants to look like they have a wad of dreadlocks under their part.

So here's my advice - if you find a Paula Young wig you love, buy it in every color and stock up. They'll be gone before you know it, trust me. And Paula Young, if you're listening, bring back the Sheer Vogue or the Sheer Heidi. Charge a little more if you have to, but don't take them away from those of us who love them!

Paula Young Fraudulent and Disappointing: My Experience with Paula Young Wigs

I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty bad experience with Paula Young. I mean, I was so excited to order this wig that I saw in their ad. It looked so beautiful and I just knew it would be perfect for me. But when I got it, man oh man was I disappointed. The crown area was so bare that you could see the netting! I mean, what kind of wig is that? I couldn't wear it, no way. So I wrote them a letter asking for a full refund, including postage, handling, and the surcharge. I explained why I thought I deserved a full refund, too.

But when I finally got my refund credit, I was so mad. They didn't even refund me the cost of the wig and shampoo (which I never even opened because I couldn't wear the "defective" wig). I ended up having to pay $29.17 for something that was totally defective and should never have been sent to me.

So, let me tell you, don't waste your money with this company. They're fraudulent and they don't care about their customers. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Paula Young Paula Young: A Customer's Disappointing Experience with Prices and Customer Service

I've been a Paula Young customer for a long time now. Back in the day, I was happy with my purchases and how they handled any issues that came up.

But let me tell you, things have really gone downhill!

Their customer service has gotten worse and worse, and they keep jacking up their prices - to the point where I'm just done with them! The most recent incident was when I had a $22 credit in my account from a previous return. I found a wig I liked that was priced at $56.99, but when I talked to their customer service (which is a total joke, by the way), they told me that even with my credit, the wig would cost me over $60! And get this - 40% of that was just for shipping!

I could give you more examples of how they're just trying to squeeze every last penny out of their customers, but I'll spare you. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from Paula Young. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.

Paula Young Paula Young's Hidden Fees and Poor Quality Products: A Cautionary Tale

I recently made a purchase on Paula Young's website for a set of bangs priced at $19.99. However, upon receiving my order, I was surprised to see an additional charge of $1.95 labeled as a "delivery surcharge" that was not mentioned during the checkout process. On top of that, I was charged $8.99 for shipping and $2.18 for taxes, bringing the total cost of my purchase to $33.11.

Unfortunately, the quality of the bangs was very poor and I decided to return them. However, I was charged an additional $9.99 for the return shipping label, bringing the total cost of the item to $43.10. To make matters worse, I was only refunded $10.59 for the item, leaving me with a significant loss.

When I reached out to Paula Young's customer service team to inquire about the discrepancy in my refund, they repeatedly cited a "new policy" that charged customers for returns. However, I could not find any information about this policy on their website or in their catalog. I was particularly frustrated that they did not refund the additional $1.59 in taxes that I had paid for the item.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Paula Young. It seems that they are more interested in making money through hidden fees and charges than providing quality products and customer service. I have since reported them to the Better Business Bureau and would caution others against doing business with them.

Paula Young Disappointed with Paula Young's Salem Wig: Inaccurate Color Description and Deduction of Return Shipping Cost

So, I recently checked out Paula Young's website and found a wig style that I thought would look great on me. It was called Salem and the color I wanted was described as having "medium honey blonde" roots. I was excited to try it out because I usually avoid wigs with dark roots because they don't look natural on me.

When I received the wig, I was disappointed to find out that the roots were actually much darker than what was described. They were more like a very dark brown color, which didn't look good on me at all. I decided to return the wig, but I was upset to find out that they deduct the cost of the return shipping label from your refund, even if the issue is not your fault.

I called customer service to explain the situation and requested that they not deduct the return shipping cost from my refund. I even mentioned that there was no actual photo of the wig in the color I chose on their website. However, they still deducted the cost from my refund.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Paula Young. While the website had a good selection of wigs, the inaccurate color description and the deduction of the return shipping cost left a bad taste in my mouth. I would recommend being cautious when ordering from this site and double-checking the color descriptions before making a purchase.

Paula Young Poor Customer Service and Communication from Paula Young's Website

I recently ordered a wig from Paula Young's website, paulayoung.com. They sent me a confirmation number with a delivery date of two weeks, and they promised to send me tracking information. However, I never received any updates from them. After waiting for three weeks, I decided to call their customer service hotline to inquire about my order.

Unfortunately, I had a difficult time communicating with their representatives. I spoke to four different people, some of whom had a serious lack of language skills. I even got disconnected or hung up on a few times. Eventually, I was told that they could not ship my order due to an address issue. I confirmed that the address they had was correct, so there was no issue on my end.

What frustrated me the most was that no one ever notified me that there was a problem with my order. They just ignored it and left me in the dark. The last person I spoke with, who hung up on me when she didn't want to hear any more, promised that my order would be shipped on Monday the 20th with a tracking number. However, I don't believe her anymore, and I don't think I'll ever do business with Paula Young again.

It's a shame because I've been a loyal customer for years, and I've always had good experiences with them. But this recent incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they can improve their customer service and communication in the future. And please, let's not blame Covid for everything.

Paula Young Disappointing Experience with Paula Young: Shipping Issue and Lack of Knowledge from Consultant

Me and my daughter are both new to wigs, so we decided to order some accessories from Paula Young to make our first trip out in our new styles. We were excited to receive our shipment, but unfortunately, there was an issue with the delivery. The shipping address was incomplete, so the shipment was returned to PY. We were disappointed that we couldn't enjoy our day out as planned, but we hope to receive our order on Monday.

While waiting for our delivery, I decided to call one of the "consultants" to ask about wigs with little or no permatease. To my surprise, he had no idea what I was talking about. I was referred to the catalog, which I had already gone through with no luck. I was frustrated with the lack of knowledge from the consultant, and to make matters worse, when I asked a question about something else, his response was word for word taken from the same catalog I was looking at.

Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with Paula Young. The shipping issue and lack of knowledge from the consultant has left a bad taste in my mouth. I am not sure if I will be dealing with Paula Young again in the future. If I could give no stars, I definitely would.

Paula Young Disappointed with Paula Young's inaccurate wig representation and customer service

I've had some experience with Paula Young and their wigs. I've ordered a few from them in the past, and while they weren't exactly like the pictures, they were close enough for me to be satisfied. However, my most recent purchase in early April 2023 was a different story. I ordered a wig in the color Silver Mist, and while the small bottom half of the wig in that color looked great, the full picture of the wig was in a cute brown color. When the Silver Mist wig arrived, I was shocked. The top half of the wig was the blackest black I've ever seen, and it gradually faded into the Silver Mist on the bottom half. I was so disappointed that I called them immediately.

Despite my attempts to show them that it was their error for not listing the black portion of the wig, they refused to waive the outrageous "restocking fee" they wanted to charge me. I had paid a lot of money for the wig, and there was no way I was going to keep it. I was so frustrated that I decided I would never buy another wig from Paula Young again. I just can't trust the colors or the pictures of the wigs they sell.

Overall, I think Paula Young has some work to do when it comes to accurately representing their products. While I've had some decent experiences with them in the past, this last purchase was a real letdown. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make some changes to improve their products and customer service.

Paula Young Paula Young Wigs: Great Styles and Prices, But Customer Service Needs Improvement

I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough time with Paula Young. I mean, don't get me wrong, their wigs are pretty sweet. I found a couple of styles that I was really digging, and the prices were definitely on point. But when it came to dealing with their customer service team, things got a little dicey.

I had an issue with one of my orders, and I gotta tell you, the customer service rep I talked to was not exactly a ray of sunshine. In fact, they were downright rude. I mean, come on, nobody wants to pay good money for a product and then be treated like garbage when they have a problem. It's just not cool.

Now, I'm not saying that every company has to bend over backwards to make their customers happy. But I do think that if you're going to sell a product, you should be willing to stand behind it and do what you can to make things right when there's an issue. That's just common sense, right?

Anyway, all that being said, I still think Paula Young has some pretty sweet wigs. If you're looking for a new 'do and you're on a budget, they're definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared to deal with some less-than-stellar customer service if you run into any issues.

Paula Young Disappointing Product and Customer Service Experience with Paula Young

I recently bought a wig from Paula Young's website, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the product. The photos online made it look great, but in reality, it just didn't live up to my expectations. I decided to return it, but unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble getting through to customer service.

I called a few times in the evening, but I wasn't able to clearly explain my issue, so I decided to try again during the day. That's when things really started to go downhill. I was passed around from person to person, and it took a whopping 54 minutes before I finally got to speak with the "Queen Supervisor," Donna. Unfortunately, she was just as unhelpful as the wig itself.

I'm not sure how Donna got her title, but she certainly didn't act like a queen. To make matters worse, when I asked about returning the wig, I was told that I would have to pay for the shipping (around $15) and a 20% restocking fee (around $25). That's a total of $40 just to return an item that cost me $126 (plus tax and a "Covid charge").

To add insult to injury, I later found the exact same wig from the same maker on eBay for just $108, with free shipping and free returns. Lesson learned: before you buy from Paula Young, do a quick search on eBay to see if you can find the same item for less.

Overall, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with Paula Young as a business. I had high hopes for them, but unfortunately, they just didn't deliver. If you're thinking about buying from them, I'd recommend proceeding with caution.

Paula Young Disappointing Quality & Customer Service: My Paula Young Review

So, I bought a couple o' items from Paula Young and lemme tell ya, it took forever ta get ‘em. Like, almost 2 months. And then, when they finally arrived, I was pretty ticked off. Two outta the three items were complete trash. Like, junk quality. It's pretty clear that the quality of their merchandise has gone downhill big time. To make matters worse, the customer service was utterly useless. I've been a loyal customer of theirs for quite some time now, but after this experience, I ain't gonna be buyin’ from Paula Young anymore. It's a real shame.

Paula Young Disappointing Shipping and Customer Service Experience with Paula Young

Yo, let me tell you 'bout my experience with Paula Young. So, I ordered summin' and decided to pay extra for that speedy shipping. They charged me for it and all, but then they go and ship it regular. What kind of nonsense is that? So, I hit 'em up and was like, "Yo, Paula Young peeps, gimme back my money for that botched up shipping." And what do they do? They tell me "Nah, we ain't refunding that." Man, that ain't right.

So now, I'm sitting here waiting for my order to arrive. It's been a minute and I ain't seen nothin' yet. And let me tell you, their customer service is not on point. Ha, more like off point. Like, they ain't helpin' me out at all.

Can't say nothin' 'bout the product yet 'cause I still ain't got it. But if the customer service and shipping experience is any indication, I ain't holdin' out hope for a positive review on that front neither. Definitely not gonna recommend Paula Young to anyone based on my experience so far.

Paula Young Paula Young's COVID-19 Surcharge is Unacceptable: A Review

So, I was browsing Paula Young's website and was about to place an order when I saw they were charging an extra fee for something called "Covid-19". Can you believe that? This pandemic has caused so much turmoil and they're making people pay extra for it. It's just not right.

I immediately cancelled my order and decided that I don't want to support a company that takes advantage of people's suffering. We all need to come together and support each other during these difficult times, not exploit them for profit.

Aside from that, I did like some of the wigs I saw on their website. They had a good variety and some looked really cute. However, I think it's important for companies to show empathy and not rip people off during a crisis.

I hope Paula Young rethinks this surcharge and shows more compassion towards its customers. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Paula Young Disappointed with Paula Young's Service - Lost My Money Over a Simple Mistake

I had bought a wig from Paula Young (paulayoung.com) and accidently ordered the wrong one. I gave them a ring right away but they told me to call back after waiting for a few hours. So, I held on for 2 hours and then rang them again. Unfortunately, they told me that I was too late and the order was already in the warehouse, ready to be delivered.

Honestly, it was quite the blow! I was taken aback and very much disappointed with the service given by Paula Young. I felt I had lost my hard-earned money and would have to settle with something I didn't actually want. Needless to say, I will never be shopping here again after the terrible experience.

I understand that there could be some reasons for their policies, but I think they could've had more understanding towards a mistake made by the customer. It is unfortunate that this has happened and I am not satisfied with how things were handled. I sincerely hope that Paula Young revises its policies and takes better care of its customers in the future.

Paula Young Disappointing Return Process from paulayoung.com

So, I recently ordered a wig from paulayoung.com. When the mailman showed up with my package, I opened the box and filled out the return slip right then and there. I was hoping for a speedy return process, but after waiting for two weeks with no updates, I decided to call the company. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told that it would take another week before I received my credit. And of course, after that, I would have to wait another seven days for my bank to finally refund the amount back onto my card. Whew, I'm just glad I didn't need that money for anything else!

Paula Young Paula Young Wigs - A Total Rip-off!

I went and bought 2 wigs from paulayoung.com. Each of them cost me $34.99. With the taxes and all, it added up to around $78.00. But hey, that wasn't too bad a price for a good wig, or so I thought!

But you know what I got? One of them looked like a brillo pad on my head! And the other one, let's just say it didn't quite suit me, if you know what I mean. I had no choice but to return them. But wait, it gets worse!

When I actually went ahead and returned them, I got to know that they were going to charge me $19.00 for each wig as a restocking fee! And on top of that, I had to shell out another $9.95 for shipping. So what did I finally get back? A measly $22.03! Can you believe it?!

Personally, I think it was a total rip off. I mean, why should I have to pay for their mistakes? They should have done a better job of making sure they were selling quality stuff before putting them up on their website. I won't be going back there again, that's for sure!

Paula Young Deceptive Advertising: Paula Young's False Promises and Disrespectful Customer Service

So, I got this email from Paula Young, right? Saying I can snatch a wig for just $39 and with Free Shipping. Eagerly, I entered the code and Boom! "No Discount" for shipping! What the heck is wrong with these people? I rang them up and hey, get this - they informed me that I had to spend $59 to qualify for Free Shipping. How sly! That is called deceptive marketing. I'm not cool with that at all!

Listen, I have always been a huge fan of Paula Young's wigs; they're pretty good quality. But you know what? That false advertising is just not cool. It's like they have no respect for their customers at all. This is the kind of behavior that makes me want to go elsewhere and try different businesses. I might just do that.

Paula Young Disappointing and Low-Quality Products from Paula Young: A Warning to Potential Buyers

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the products I got from Paula Young. I wish someone had warned me before I went ahead and bought from them. I picked up a couple of turbans, and let me tell you, they were not up to snuff. The material was weak, flimsy, and wrinkled easily. On top of that, the design was straight-up ugly. I found myself wondering if I had made a mistake trying to make them work with my hairstyle - but nope, the workmanship was just so poor that they didn't fit right at all. I thought maybe I just had a freakishly small head, but then I saw other reviews that echoed my frustrations. These turbans would be too small even for a newborn - that's a wild thought!

Worst of all, when I tried to return the products, the return policy was less than ideal. It would cost me nine dollars - for what, exactly? Shipping? Processing fees? I have no idea. All I know is I'm never buying anything from Paula Young again. They're selling some really low-quality products, and that's not the kind of thing I'm interested in buying.

Paula Young Mixed feelings about Paula Young wigs: High Quality, Reasonable Prices, but Questionable Business Practices

I was in the hunt for a wig and I heard about Paula Young through a friend of mine. I decided to check out their website and their prices seemed reasonable. They even had a 20% discount offer with free shipping on purchases over $59.99. I thought it was a great deal, so I jumped on it and picked out a wig that I liked. The wig cost $59.99 and with the 20% discount it came to $51.99. However, when I tried to check out, I was disappointed to learn that I didn't qualify for free shipping because my purchase was less than $59.99, which was the original price of the wig. I felt a bit betrayed, but I guess that's just how they get you.

To add insult to injury, they also added a delivery insurance fee and a covid fee to my purchase, which made the wig cost $71.99 - almost $20 more than the original price! I understand that we're living in difficult times, but it seems a bit opportunistic to charge an extra fee for something that we have no control over.

Furthermore, I was not impressed with their shipping costs. They charged $12.99 for first class shipping, even though the wig didn't even weigh 12 oz. I felt like I was being ripped off and it left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Despite my negative experience with Paula Young, I will say that the wig itself was of good quality. The color was true to the website's description and the fit was perfect. It looked great on me, and I received several compliments. However, I'm not sure if I will be purchasing from them again, given the additional fees and high shipping costs. It's a shame because their products are of good quality, but their business practices are a bit questionable.
