I’ve been going to the clinic for 8 years and I’m 8 years sober. I’m disgusted at your new mandate to force every person to do groups. Someone that has severe social anxiety and ptsd that’s been sober for this amount of time with the maximum take homes shouldn’t be forced to do this. Especially if you’re seeing your own councilor. And negative drug tests for years. It’s a blanket approach to getting your wallets lined instead of actually looking out for the best Interest of the patient. Please study up on social anxiety and how crippling it can be. I can’t even go to the grocery store but I have to attend a meeting listening to actively using drug addicts talk about their problems. Some people get sober by staying away from those type of people. Not to mention someone that’s sober most likely has a job like myself your times for meetings do NOT align with realistic job hours. Stop treating sober people the same why you treat actively using drug addicts. All it shows is that getting paid for a session is more important than the persons well being.

Joined the The Hartford dispensary over a year ago and completed Intense Outpatiant programs that included methadone awareness as well as contract studies of the proceedures and duties of patient and provider. They came to me with a medication recall that was never before heard of which I believe to be part of the new Root Recovery center's contract and they didn't tell us anything about it before it took place. I didn't sign and agreement that included anything like this at the time that I joined. As a result of the unethical behaviour I was force to forfit my well earned privligies that I have been working very hard on earning over the recent years.
