Emergency room visit
I was taken by ambulance to your emergency room on Sunday for insulin shock and had to be restrained due to low blood sugar's. After leaving the next day I noticed I was in severe pain in my upper back and neck. From what I remember of the evening I thought everything went good. I called your emergency room on Thursday to ask what happened while I was there and they told me to come in immediately. I went and they gave me an mri, exray and bloodwork. I somehow received 4 disks in my neck badly damaged and is permanent. I asked for help for something your hospital caused and was outraged by the response I received. Low blood sugar does not warrant a broken neck. And was told to go to a free clinic to follow up with surgery.I am so upset and scared by this. A women has been harassing my 87 year old mother for money several times a day. Today she actually asked who will pay if you die. This is elder abuse and violates a patient's bill of rights. The simple.fact of demanding a check from a patient who can't move due to surgery, and lives only on social security is beyond words. Brow beating and threatening to write a check is unacceptable to my family.
