I purchased a new dishwasher which was advertised with a cash back credit from The Good Guys online. The purchase had no issues.
1 week later the credit arrived and when I tried to use it on-line, the store credit code registered as successful, but did not change the final purchase total.
Customer service cancelled the transaction and issued a refund.
I contacted the customer service email and exchanged 9 email and 2 phone calls, with no resolution.
They just kept requesting transaction details and copy of the credit and advised someone would resolve it. Its now been over 2 weeks and the credit has expired (although they did advise they would honor it, as there was evidence it wasn't working correctly.)
Not sure how many more emails and 1 hour calls to customer service is required to resolve this. A company offering redemption credits that don't actually work is false advertising!
Desired outcome: issues of new store credit that actually works
