I ordered a couch at takealot and sold my furniture in good faith that I would receive my furniture from takealot. I ordered and paid for the furniture on the 1 March2024 and was said I would receive it on the 12th which is a bit of a wait, but I fully understand that it takes time with some orders. However on the 12th the order still did not say shipped and I phoned and the person said they would look into it and get back to me, I then later received a generic email with regards to them looking in to the matter. later that afternoon I phoned again, again got the same story that the stock had not been updated and they would look into it and they would get back to me, later same generic email. waited until the next morning to phone, Spoke to another person who said exactly the same thing, and yes you guessed it two minutes later same generic email comes through.

I have no furniture in my house, I am getting no answers and I am not a very happy customer at the moment. I spend alot of money at takelot and have never experienced such bad service.

Claimed loss: I would like an apology for the inconvenience caused and the unsympathetic way the telephone operator handled the situation.

Desired outcome: I would like my couch to be delivered as soon as possible.
