Takealot False advertisement

I am so disappointed in takealot.

I purchased a item with the option of 30 day Hassel free return, but instead of Hassel free I got embarrassment and disappointment.

I was told at the returns counter that takealot 'obviously' does not accept returns for intimate items. My return was the declined with no notification nor a reason, even though the item specificly says I can return it for 30 days hassle free.

I really feel let down.
I have never experienced this bad service from them before.
They so nice when you fork out money to them but as soon as you need something returned, they treat you like you nothing.

Takealot is such a big company that earns a ton of money.
That 1 item that I need to return is peanuts to them, but a chunk to me.

I have already purchased items since I logged the return, but after I receive these items I am not returning.

Takealot Service

In connection with order #[protected]. This order should have been delivered on the 30 sept 2020 and still as if today I have recieved nothing but order delayed every single day. I have now seeked assistance four times already via telephone and nothing. This is totally unexceptable and therefor if this product is not delivered by tomorrow I would want a refund immediately. This is really very bad service takealot

Takealot Reneging on supplying exact product as advertised

Can anyone assist me how to escalate my problem, or forward to relevant escalation/legal:
Order no: [protected]
I ordered 2 x 75ml perfume bottles for R1300. This is exactly what was advertised. I received 30ml bottles for R1300. This is not what was advertised, and not what I ordered. I returned the 30ml bottles, wrapping and seal intact, and requested the correct 75ml bottles as advertised.
Over 30 emails and at least 10 phone calls, they now refuse to deliver the correct product, claiming that they made an error on their advert. They have subsequently changed the 75ml price on the website, but I have copies of the advert, the order, the delivery and the return. I believe Im entitled to receive the product as advertised and paid for in the terms of a legal contract.

I had ordered a tshirt and smoothie maker machine using an app they say that I didn't pay the money and the money was deducted from my account still I haven't received my order all I want is my money or my order back

Takealot Express delivery

I ordered an item on Friday 18th September 2020, paid R100 for express next day delivery, which was supposed to be Saturday 19th September 2020. Only to find out on app will only be delivered Friday 25th September 2020. ANSWERS PLEASE! If I hadn't needed it urgently I wouldn't have paid for next day delivery!

Takealot Customer service

I purchased a laptop on 10 August and returned it on 24th August. it was faulty as per takealot returns policy they refused to refund me and sent the laptop back to me and requested I liaise with the manufacturer direct. this is DELL South Africa. Dell SA does not answer their phones and have a complex online returns process which requires a ticket via the phone - but they don't answer their phones.
Takelot I believe is whom I purchased and gave my money to they should be the ones assiting to get my refund but they refused to help me. they keep promising to send me the manager to call me but nones calls.
they have since close my logged return. today I sit with a broken laptop which I apid ZAR 10, 999. I have lost out terribly and feel my customer rights have been totally violated

My order must be reinstated and goods delivered to me within reasonable time.

Takealot Beer expertise large glasses

The one pack of glasses that has 2 large glasses one of the glasses is broken. I received the box yesterday 24-08-2020 that I ordered allot of glasses. When I opened the one box of beer expertise large glasses one of the glasses was broken into pieces. I am very unhappy as I think these orders they are supposed to handle with care. I would like to request that the glass be replaced. Please contact me johan botha on [protected].

Takealot Incomplete delivery

We have ordered an item over R 10 000, and when the delivery came we only got half of the deliver (consists of 2 part). Its been one and a half work days, 10 emails later to various Takealot staff members and a dozen phone calls. No action have been taken to correct the mistake from their side! Nice emails and automated replies have been send to us, and every department is throwing the ball to another department.

Never have seen such bad after sale services form a big company like this. Today is Friday, and if we don't get any service today it will have to wait until Monday, which will make it 4 days that they haven't resolved a mistake that was made on their side.

I hope that Takealot in not becoming to big for themselves that they forget how to serve customers, and fix their own mistakes.

When they contact me I will give more detail about the parcel

Takealot Unethical behaviour

I visited your Foreshore branch on 12/08/2020 between 15h00 and 15h30. One of the counterhands started swearing at me, threatening to put me on social media, calling on the security to throw me out. I requested her name but she refused and then Siviwe (team leader)? also refused to give her name.
This happened because I voiced my dissatisfaction with the poor service received from takelot. The counterhand sat on the left hand side as you enter the building. Please take the necessary action.

Takealot Items ordered and paid for not in package upon arrival

I ordered a number of items recently and upon delivery found one of my items to be missing. Box seemed to have been tampered with, so it has possibly been stolen. No contact information on website about who I can contact!

I have paid for the item and expect to receive it. My order history shows no indication that it is to be delivered at a later stage.

Takealot Products not delivered

dont trust takelot

i ordered and paid for my product last month still haven't received them im based in centurion not in a rural area but all my complaints have fallen on deaf ears... how can i trust takelot if they cant even deliver on small products worth just R400 then i cant trust them to deliver product worth R1000s this was a test run for me as it was just my first time buying online an they have failed i have even made peace that i just donated R480 to takelot hope they grow

Takealot Selfie Ring Light

I ordered a Selfie Ring Light on the 15th of July 2020 and the delivery was supposed to be on the 23rd of July 2020 but I received my order from Takelot today, 22 July 2020 at around 3pm. I went home, opened it and found it working.I used it for less than 30 minutes and it just went off.I tried charging it but it couldn't charge . I'm so disappointed.Can you please resolve this issue and replace this Selfie Ring Light with a new one.

Takealot Pampers premium size

I log a return of returning size 3 pampers premium 120 for size 4 pampers premium 104 because size 3 doesn't fit my daughter anymore but Takealot has send the driver to come and pick up size 3 then today they returned size 3 again instead of size four please sort this matti as soon as possible

Takealot Payment of an ordered products

I'm lebogang mnisi. I ordered a black milex blender during the daily birthday sale on the 29/06/2020 and I used the pay fast method of payment. I payed transferred r799.00 into the takealot account with the reference pf3cc95758f26f7496 but I received an email saying I did not make any payment and therefore the order is canceled while I already payed the money. When I try to call the takealot line, the phone is not being held by anyone. I do not know what to do, please help.

Takealot Washing machine defective only two months old

A washing machine was bought on 17th March 2020 and broke down in early June. Despite many Emails all that has happened is lip service with promises that it will be attended to. To date nothing except the can is being kicked further down the road. I have now convinced that Takealot is dysfunctional and that my only choice is to expose them as a ripoff organisation where taking your money is the prime objective.

Takealot qdc-t 4g lte wifi router (tm bundle)

Good day

I have bought a router at Takealot and I get an error message when I use Rain sim card. I have tried calling this number [protected] which is on the back of the of the box and when I phone it goes through to the wrong company, I have sent emails numerous times to [protected]@wimatics.co.za and Takealot to assist me and they are not responding to my emails.

please assist or collect the unit and process a refund to my account I will buy it from somewhere else

Takealot Defective product: hisense infinity h30 lite. They are taking forever to exchange or refund

Hi. I am a new customer. This was my second time purchasing a phone at takealot. I recently bought a phone (Hisense Infinity H30 lite) from takealot. However, the phone had defects. It was collected on 14 May 2020 to be replaced. Communicated with Head Office on the 19th of May 2020 but haven't heard anything from them ever since then. I just want my refund. Bought the phone on 29 April 2020. They claim that i did not put the battery in the box and also they didn't say anything about the speaker that was in the box. Their delivery guy checked everything before taking the package. He confirmed that everything was in the box. There was a witness when all these took place. I would understand if takealot was communicating with me. They are just quiet. Their employees are not trustworthy. If you have worked in retail, you would know the process these guys operate in. They steal returned items. I no longer want anything from takealot. That is how fed up i am as a first time client. They failed to help me on time so i want my refund in full, every cent. R3099.00. I can provide more details upon request for security reasons.
