We have therefore sent one of our delivery drivers to collect the accessories as soon as possible. We ask that you kindly ensure you are available and that you have neatly packaged the accessories for when we collect it.
Should you not be available for collection or would like to specify a preferred collection date for our couriers to arrive, please respond to this e-mail with the date. No unacceptable, takealot said they will pick up the remote in the following 3 days which they never did which resulted in the supplier just sending it back.
Which I find extremely arrogant. As if they need the remote to fix it. What if the dog ate the remote? Is the warranty void? Ridiculous.
Anyway, if takealot is gonna continue playing games. I probably will have to take legal action.
You are going back on your word if you send the TV to the supplier again, you stated in a previous email that you would credit it after it arrives at takealot.
You also promised that you would give this issue the highest priority.
At this point, I can't trust anything said in previous emails.
To summarize, 40+ days into the progress and takealot want to blame this on a remote missing which they said they would pick up and never did. Why send the TV to the supplier in the first place, If the remote must be present?
I hope takealot do as said in previous emails. (We talked about your 21-day policy)

Nam responded. 16/11/2020 no respond order changed status to delivered I called Tammy responded talking to courier. 20th Tammy, Manfred and Lunga also responded. Order not received/ resolved. Courier is fast and furious never called or reach delivery address.
Unethical behaviour
Good day Takealot, your offices contacted me from the number 012 941 0424 yesterday afternoon 19th of November 2020. I've returned the call today where the employee confirm telephonically that my order number 79546274 is ready for collection at Wonder boom Junction Pretoria. I drove from Mountain view about 10k to find out that it is not available. I wish to have your office deliver my product, please. I think it's justifiable as I've wasted time and money by wrong communication. The employee did say she will speak with her manager to arrange delivery. This complaint is to be sure that this does take place if possible witch will be greatly appreciated.

How more difficult must processing a faulty return get before your team actually bloody puts in effort to help?
The 12th october I log a faulty return.
- your team schedule a pick up, and in the log before they picked up, I noted I do not have the box as I threw it away. We don't clutter and store empty boxes. I dont own a warehouse!
- they collect, but tell me I need original box. Here I started getting agitated cause this was specified.
- they come back the next day, and I neatly packed all the things in a bag with some accessories; the remote, hdmi, and adapter.
The 28th came, I check online, a missing item...
Nobody bloody calls and says, "hi sir, we miss an item!" I had to smell and wait minutes on a call to reach them, for clarity."
Here I explained that I threw this"tv stand" away cause I mounted the tv.
If I don't need something, I dispose of it! Again, I do not pile up unnecessary clutter! Why arent you questioning me about the missing rca video/ audio cable? That I did not add to the bag either!
I bought 3 of theses exact same items, and got rid of the things I do not need!
Trying to reason with these people that if they can just fix my tv, return it, I will be grateful! No! A small item like the stand is stopping them from fixing a tv that makes a scratching noises and continuously shoots off!
How the hell is a stand going to solve this problem?
I then asked would it not be possible to just replace the tv and keep the stands that come with this!
No! Everybody is saying no!
I have bought in the same year a variety of electronic equipment for my business! Which cost me more than 50k in total!
And one bloody stand for a tv is holding up a fixing of the tv!
I need the tv back in working condition! Keep the stand! Just return the exact same things I gave you with a working tv!
After this, never will I buy an electronic device from your online store! Your customer service is [censored], no reason, no effort to help, just always a no!

The order was received from what ever collection site where I do not know as I live here in port Shepstone I don't have a near by collection site, the website shows port Elizabeth and shows that the are many collection points there, what about me living here in port Shepstone, now if they don't deliver my order how can I received the order coz I was expecting them to deliver here in my place where I live.. please phone me, when I check in the website nothing appears about the order, I have a barcode but they is no option that uses barcode in that website to track order..

I tracked my order it says delayed will reschedule for delivery... It has been rescheduled so many times but still I haven't received the parcel
Paid order lost but I was not informed at all
My parcel, order number 78630461, was not delivered on the said date of delivery, which is the 3rd of November 2020.
Takealot did not even bother to send a message or call me to update me what the problem is. I had to take the effort myself and call from one number to another until I had to discover that my parcel was lost at the Cape Town warehouse. How so? Are there no policy and procedures in place? Are client parcels not guarded and taken care of? I am busy with an urgent project I need that parcel as in yesterday.
The level of service is extremely poor and very concerning, this will definitely be my last use of placing orders with takealot or referring anyone to it. I request urgent attention to my matter, I cannot wait for more days for another replacement that will be lost again at the warehouse. I suggest an immediate refund be paid back to me so I can purchase the product from a much more trusted and reliable store.
This is unacceptable and very poor service especially from a well known company like takealot!

I am very dissapointed in take alot. Never using this app again. Sad thing is it was my first time using it and had a very bad experience. I placed an order on the 14 October and ever since then i've been getting a sms saying "Your takealot order has been delayed". It's either they "cannot" locate my address, but not once did the driver call me to just maybe verify. Yesterday it was said he was there, but no one was home to receive the parcel, but yet again no one called me. Today I got a message again saying it was delayed and I called again! Consultant says he thinks they don't do my area.. but yet again no one called me!
Pissed off customer! I don't recommend Takealot!
False advertisement
I am so disappointed in takealot.
I purchased a item with the option of 30 day Hassel free return, but instead of Hassel free I got embarrassment and disappointment.
I was told at the returns counter that takealot 'obviously' does not accept returns for intimate items. My return was the declined with no notification nor a reason, even though the item specificly says I can return it for 30 days hassle free.
I really feel let down.
I have never experienced this bad service from them before.
They so nice when you fork out money to them but as soon as you need something returned, they treat you like you nothing.
Takealot is such a big company that earns a ton of money.
That 1 item that I need to return is peanuts to them, but a chunk to me.
I have already purchased items since I logged the return, but after I receive these items I am not returning.

I ordered 2 x 75ml perfume bottles for R1300. This is exactly what was advertised. I received 30ml bottles for R1300. This is not what was advertised, and not what I ordered. I returned the 30ml bottles, wrapping and seal intact, and requested the correct 75ml bottles as advertised.
Over 30 emails and at least 10 phone calls, they now refuse to deliver the correct product, claiming that they made an error on their advert. They have subsequently changed the 75ml price on the website, but I have copies of the advert, the order, the delivery and the return. I believe Im entitled to receive the product as advertised and paid for in the terms of a legal contract.

I ordered an item on Friday 18th September 2020, paid R100 for express next day delivery, which was supposed to be Saturday 19th September 2020. Only to find out on app will only be delivered Friday 25th September 2020. ANSWERS PLEASE! If I hadn't needed it urgently I wouldn't have paid for next day delivery!

I purchased a laptop on 10 August and returned it on 24th August. it was faulty as per takealot returns policy they refused to refund me and sent the laptop back to me and requested I liaise with the manufacturer direct. this is DELL South Africa. Dell SA does not answer their phones and have a complex online returns process which requires a ticket via the phone - but they don't answer their phones.
Takelot I believe is whom I purchased and gave my money to they should be the ones assiting to get my refund but they refused to help me. they keep promising to send me the manager to call me but nones calls.
they have since close my logged return. today I sit with a broken laptop which I apid ZAR 10, 999. I have lost out terribly and feel my customer rights have been totally violated

My order was canceled for alleged lack of identification. Identification was sent immediately after it was requested.
My order must be reinstated and goods delivered to me within reasonable time.
Beer expertise large glasses
The one pack of glasses that has 2 large glasses one of the glasses is broken. I received the box yesterday 24-08-2020 that I ordered allot of glasses. When I opened the one box of beer expertise large glasses one of the glasses was broken into pieces. I am very unhappy as I think these orders they are supposed to handle with care. Incomplete delivery
We have ordered an item over R 10 000, and when the delivery came we only got half of the deliver (consists of 2 part). Its been one and a half work days, 10 emails later to various Takealot staff members and a dozen phone calls. No action have been taken to correct the mistake from their side! Nice emails and automated replies have been send to us, and every department is throwing the ball to another department.
Never have seen such bad after sale services form a big company like this. Today is Friday, and if we don't get any service today it will have to wait until Monday, which will make it 4 days that they haven't resolved a mistake that was made on their side.
I hope that Takealot in not becoming to big for themselves that they forget how to serve customers, and fix their own mistakes.
When they contact me I will give more detail about the parcel
Unethical behaviour
I visited your Foreshore branch on 12/08/2020 between 15h00 and 15h30. One of the counterhands started swearing at me, threatening to put me on social media, calling on the security to throw me out. I requested her name but she refused and then Siviwe (team leader)? also refused to give her name.
This happened because I voiced my dissatisfaction with the poor service received from takelot. The counterhand sat on the left hand side as you enter the building. Please take the necessary action.
