terrible service
I ordered on line today for food at Taco Cabana. I normally just go through the drive thru to pick up the food. The food was not ready. They told me the manager said I had to go inside to pick up the food instead of using the drive thru.l I am disabled and this is hard for me. I did go inside, my order was not ready. They had trouble finding my order. I just left very angry.
food issues/ quality and missing items
I ordered online through Taco Cabana website. It was for delivery and was the closest location to my home. Less than 3 miles. I was not feeling great but needed to eat. I ordered and paid, food was to come in an hour. Then I find out it's through Door Dash.
It took more than an hour and a call to Door Dash to find out where my order was. Food arrived in a styrofoam container, no bag and chips/tortillas were missing. I asked the driver where were my items. Said that was all. Opened the container. Food was cold and congealed. Rice and guacamole looked old. Not happy.
I could not reach customer service. They did not answer. Nor did they call me back. I have not been able to submit request for refund because that part of the website is disabled. Totally not going to go back.

I went to order a Steak Fajita meal with rice and beans for my husband and the rude blonde lady in the drive thru at 10:16pm on May 7, 2019 at Taco Cabana on Rufe Snow and Loop 820 in North Richland Hills, Texas had the nerve to tell me that they no longer carried that item on their menu. I went up to window to clarify and she was even more rude to me telling me that she had already told me twice. I told her there is nothing wrong with making sure and i drove off. My husband was not happy and called the store at approximately 10:20pm and a guy by the name of Travis did state that they did have steak fajitas and that they were not going anywhere anytime soon. This is really bad service and the fact that the blonde lady was super rude to me for loving your food breaks my heart. Please fix this I really love your food and so does my husband.

I keep asking myself WHY DO I CONTINUE TO GO THERE!?!?! Truth is the food is good. BUT the service sucks! Its ridiculous to wait 20 minutes in line for 4 potato and bacon tacos. And when you see the pictures of the tacos I ordered that would have taken 5 minutes! This happens all the time! The Taco Cabana at Hwy 290 and Tidwell in Houston, TX is the worst! The managers are of no help either!

My husband and myself went to eat dinner at the taco cabana at 10326 north freeway Houston, Tx 77060 which we never get to go out to eat anymore. We save a little out of each of our paycheck to pay for our dinner and we go out to eat 1 a month. I regret dining at this Taco Cabana. We placed our order then proceeded to wait which by the way our wait time was at least 30 minutes. When our food comes out it was so cold I mean cold. We both had street tacos and the corn tortilla weren't even cooked much less just warmed thru. I work in the food industry and I would of been embarrassed to serve that. It was terrible and then to top it off you got this witch for a cashier and I also ordered sopillas which no one on the staff even bothered to tell us that they were out! What the heck? Anyways I was very worried to complain to the cashier because when I complained about our food she put her finger up as in suggesting for me to hush that she would get to me when she had time so I stopped complaining and tried to eat our cold food for fear if I allowed her to heat our food up she would spit in it. So we just got up and left. Not one of your staff checked on us once! No one ever asked if everything was ok and honestly if felt like we were a burden like a hassle for them to serve us. That taco cabana is the absolute worst restaurant I've ever been to in the Houston area. You should close the doors or hire completely new staff. I hope your company will reimburse our dinner. I am complaining about the Taco Cabana in Temple Texas I believe it's the only one there on Bruce Drive first of all the person that the window was not friendly at all didn't say good morning go ahead and order when you're ready by the time I got to the window the woman at the register and another woman who was preparing the food we're both looking very disgusting they look like they just got out of bed they look like they had no energy to work they look dirty their hair was disgusting it was enough to scare the hell out of somebody I would appreciate it if you got some good workers into your restaurant establishment who are more friendlier clean and look like they're ready and willing to work my tacos were also very soggy it was so disgusting it seem like they have been sitting there for a while I would never recommend this place to anyone in Temple Texas I've been eating a lot of Taco Cabanas in the past such as is Austin Texas Round Rock San Antonio and those establishments are very well maintained and management is also known to be there in case there's a problem as well as workers look very clean friendly and ready and willing to work please take care of this before I get the word around that never to go to this establishment with people who don't not look like they want to work who look disgusting and scare the hell out of you by the way they look like they just got out of bed thank you for taking the time for listening to me

First off management has a bad communication skills, no one communicates and I also have understood that you shouldn't have favorite employees, or have girlfriends working with you, taking same days off and vacations, the cook is the gm girlfriend, but I can't bring my boyfriend to work with me ! She get benefits of not doing her complete job . And making her 40hrs and getting paid more than anyone without any previous experience. Giving employees free food & talking nasty words to employees assistant manager showing homemade porn videos to employees, like it's a work area ! Gm treats employees bad when his girlfriend and him get into heated arguement .

This is the second time that I've driven through Taco Cabana (Houston, TX) So. Wayside & Gulf Freeway and was told that that there was no food ready for my order. I admit it was early in the morning and that's why I didn't fuss but I ordered (2) crispy tacos and the first time and I was told that the ground meat was not ready and the second visit was today Apr 23, 2019 and I was told that the ground meat was ready but there was no crispy shells and the cook was not there to cook them. Before I could say okay I want to order something else she just said okay and ignored me and cut off the speaker. I knew it was the same person by her attitude and voice. I couldn't back up so I drove forward and stopped and asked her, her name and said that I wanted to place an order and you cut me off and was very rude. She goes in on me and says it wasn't me you talked to last time I'm not the only person at this window and I said I don't know what's going on and I'm sorry you're having a bad day. These employees need to know that someone will make time to say something about their behavior, I'm not that hungry to put up with that and besides I don't want anyone spitting in my food it's not worth it!

My name is kenia garcia, I went to taco cabana on april 13, 2019. I go there almost every weekend, I order the dozen breakfast taco box - tc's way. This weekend that I went my tacos were cold, tortillas were cold and they weren't fully cooked. My bean and cheese were disgusting, the beans were expired. My number is [protected], I will not be visiting that place ever again!

This location is not very clean, I am very disappointed in what your store looks like. I am so used to going into to clean Taco Cabana but this one is so dirty. I hate to say filthy but it is. The bathrooms are so dirty like if the floor hadn't been moped and the walls its better if I keep it to myself because my words are not very nice. Please clean your restaurant.
Unauthorized credit card charges for order not received
On Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:12 PM I placed order #[protected] through the Taco Cabana app on my phone. The order did not load and I did not receive a confirmation that order was placed so I ordered yet again. Suddenly I had two orders pending. When I tried to cancel one of the orders I received a message on screen to call location directly in order to cancel the order. I did so and spoke with an employee who stated she was not sure how to take care of that so she put me in touch with the manager. I then spoke to the manager and she wasn't sure how to cancel order either so she placed me on hold and came back to the line to let me know that she went ahead and cancelled the order and only had one order that would be ready at 11:00 p.m. So I was told the other order would be cancelled and not be charged.
I went to pick up my order and I only picked up the second order I placed as the first one was cancelled.
It is now, March 18, 2019 and the charge is still showing up on my credit card. I was not refunded and the app shows that both orders were completed. This was not suppose to be. I was only suppose to receive one order and the other to be cancelled and it was placed in error due to the fault of the app.
I have emailed the help section of the app to get in touch with someone who can help me with this issue and have not received any response back. The email I have contacted is [protected]@tacocabana.com. I have not received any notification from them at all regarding this matter.
I am not sure what to do moving forward. The location I ordered from did not help me at all and the manager barely spoke English and was unable to help me and if I contact again she will tell me nothing she can do. They had no idea what was going on.
Please help resolve this issue.

manager not following the rules
Hello my name is jalynn I currently work at tc in bryan tx but recently the manager haven't been letting me come in and when call me josie hangs the phone up and tell me she can't help me cause I asked another job location if I could be transferred since it was closer to home i'm very dedicated walk n rain sleet or snow i'm not rude but she has been extremely rude to me and idk why or what i've done if there anything yall can do to help keep my job

I am one usually not to complain. If I do, I try to do it in the best solution way possible. With that being said I'm emailing on here versus social media. I took my daughter and niece to Taco Cabana off 183 and Industrial in Euless this morning to get what they love best, BEAN AND CHEESE TACOS. Well when we drove up to the window at 9:12AM we were told you were OUT OF BEANS. WHAT?! HOW?! It's ONLY 9:12AM! I know that might not be much to you all, but I had already driven out of my way 8.7 miles just to get BEAN AND CHEESE TACOS for my girls. So, now i have to deal with two grumpy kiddos here at McDonald's (LOL) all because you all had NO BEANS! I hope you all take the time to read this and try to put yourself in my shoes. Praying you all can do better next time!

rude service, filthy restaurant location, and wrong orders
When my family went to the 5850 Highway Six, Missouri City, Texas location, the take-out orders were always wrong; the staff is very, very rude; and the restaurant location at 5850 Highway Six, Missouri City, Texas is so filthy. They use old food that has been sitting out for HOURS, and the cook named "Brenda" is rude to the customers! Here is one of the reviews a customer wrote — "Have always enjoyed our Steak Fijita Cabana Bowls until today. Usually go to a restaurant in Katy. Today our order came back with hamburger meat instead of fijita in Missouri City. Took it back and the lady at the counter knew immediately that it was wrong. After about five minutes Brenda took the hamburger off our bowls and put it back in the drawer. (Yuck) and replaced it with fijita meat and placed our bowls on the prep counter. Another five minutes or so, but who's counting we go and pick them up. Our bowls were a little messy now. While eating we saw three more customers take their food back to the counter with their receipts. We ask who the lady in the blue shirt was (Brenda) and she came to our table. We told her we had watched what she had done and and didn't think it was very professional and she walked off without saying anything. We did get two more bowls before we left, but who is hungry after eating. An apology or I will be sure it doesn't happen again would have been nice, or a compted meal better still. What we wanted to begin with we gave to a couple who said they were hungry. The floors were dirty, tables needed cleaning." Another customer wrote, "This is the worst customer service ever. Anything u order is not made properly. We ordered 2 plates and got home to see that that was not in the bag. This is our last time going there. Have given them several chances and they have not gotten any better. Even the manager on duty today has no desire to provide any customer service. The entire restaurant is filthy. The health dept needs to b called." Another one said, "Cook was eating a taco and had food falling out her mouth on to food ready to be served this place is super nasty and the general manager Brenda did care one bit". A person who used to work there responded, "I worked there! It IS disgusting! The GM (black lady) Brenda is a b*! They reuse old food! Left out for hours, then use it! Roaches everywhere!" When I went with my dad to pick up an order a couple of times, the wait was so long that I collapsed and fell on my walker. I can only stand for about 5 to 10 minutes at a time, so my dad and I just left without any food. I couldn't stand up any longer. The next time my dad went to the 5850 location, he waited about 30 or so minutes for the order to be made, and even then, it was the WRONG ORDER! I am very disappointed in the 5850 Missouri City location! AWFUL SERVICE, DIRTY PLACE, LONG WAIT TIME, BAD FOOD, AND VERY, VERY RUDE STAFF!

Me and a friend came in and ordered on 12/23/18. First of all the salsa bar area was broken down it was 745pm they had them sitting on the sides like they where cleaning it for the night with a bowl of nasty water sitting on the same area as the salsas I mean very un-sanitary. Then where the drinks were piled up was water for anyone to slip and fall employees standing around back could have been cleaning it up but where talking and playing instead of doing there job. Third they were still open for business but had put all the chairs on the table as if to say they were closed and in fact were not closing until midnight. Another customer had to complain that there was no ice for drinks my friend had to complain that her quesadilla was burnt. The whole entire experience was nasty and unsanitary and a health hazard for real.

We visited the LONGVIEW Texas store yesterday. I ordered 6 flautist with guacamole as my two included sauces. I had to argue with the trainee and the store manager that I should not be charged. My receipt said tent table # 10 but my actual table tent was #18. After about 25 minutes, I got my 6 flautist but my husbands dinner did not come for another 20 min and only after I confronted the checkout. She asked me if he had soft or hard tacos. We were the only couple in the restaurant. A small family already had their order. There was a car waiting for food in the drive thru and finally got their food after our order. When we were leaving, we saw the drive thru customers abandoning their long wait. Used to be one of our favorites and with taco Buenos closing, you would think TC would step it up. I am not sure, your staff in the Longview TX store even knows the difference between tacos, flautist, or any of the other menu offerings. Furthermore there was salsa all over the napkin dispenser so you could not get a clean napkin. The service salsa bar was filthy-we won't be back to the Longview location. Laurie ONeal

My husband and I ordered tacos and I ask for two tacos with bacons well done, I said almost burnt. We I received my tacos the bacons was half cooked, primarily raw, I took it back to the manager and she said it looked fine on the grill, I told her she must need glasses and to just give my money back. The manager was very rude before I made the remake and acted like she didn't do anything. I refuse to go to this location, that employee should not be working with food or having any type of customer contact

Every Taco Cabana I have gone ton is awesome, this one isn't, wasn't. Location is Manachaca and Slaughter Ln., Austin.
The condiments bar was dirty and low, this was at 1:30 PM, Saturday. It looked like yesterday's left overs. Needed service. That's the main complaint I have, except delivery was slow and the tortilla I was served was cold and falling apart in the middle of my fajita.

The sign on the door states that drive thru closes at 1 a.m. @ 12:27 a.m last night my husband and our 2 y.o drive thru the restaurant sat at the speaker, no answer, we drove to the window the employee cleaning the line walked by and kept walking. So we drove through drive thru again to make sure we weren't delusional. Still no answer drove back to the window the employee who was cleaning came to the window rudely and did the cut off sign with her hand at her throat. I noticed that the computer in drive thru was already logged off. We drive off i called the restaurant to get the 1800 complaint line number the employee who answered the phone tried to argue with me that they were in the cooler and their headset turned off and still would not give me the number. I told her it was fine and that i would call in the morning. Now after leaving Whataburger we passed back by on the feeder going home. An employee has taken their car and parked it catacornered in front of the drive thru entrance so that no cars could enter

I had gone to taco cabana new braunfels tx, 811 ih-35 store #20154. On sunday 10/21/2018 at 1:55 am. When I pulled up to the drive through out of courtesy I had asked what time this location closed. The cashier in the drive thru name christi had said "we are closed…" *long pause* "lobby is closed, and the drive thru is open 24hrs." christi then starts going on a tangent how she doesn't want to be there, complaining how there is a line of cars, and that it is 2 in the morning. She finally asks what I want to eat, I felt skeptical about eating there because I didn't want anything to happen to my food. I was with 2 of my other friends and we wanted to split the order. She caught us off guard and said "what? No! Just put yall's money together it would be so much easier. And besides who comes to eat at taco cabana at 2 am!?" mind you there was 4 cars ahead of us. We decided not to eat there and drove away. When we passed by the drive thru window we saw a gentleman in a black polo standing behind christi. I've come to tc enough times to know who the manager is. We called the location asking to speak to him. She then impersonates being the manager and said, "she was joking around and how we need to take a joke." i've worked in the service industry to know bad customer service. This was the worst customer service/experience i've ever had and never had a feeling eating somewhere feeling unsafe.
