I am a current tenet, but my roommate and I have struggled due to a change in my job where I was only getting paid 12 hours or less a week. I did begin a new job, and all though I was promised in the beginning as long as I contact them, they will work with me. I needed to pay $4400 for May and June which I understood but I do not even make that however, after leaving many messages and sending many emails I was not getting a response. I called and advised a rep last Friday I could pay $1650, then this Friday $650 and by June 30th $800 to $1000 totaling a minimum of $3100 by June 30th and I'd have the rest caught up by he end of July. The rep refused to accept my payment unless I signed a court document agreeing to pay the entire $4400 by June 30th. I told the rep multiple times I could not legally agree to that amount of money as I did not make that much but I was willing to pay them. Due to my refusal to sign something I knew was impossible, the rep refused my payment. I have paid the late fees and caught up rent anytime I got a little behind with my roommate being hospitalized a couple times while we've been here. I had just got out of an abusive marriage where I was homeless due to leaving yet the first time I went through a hardship the gentleman I spoke to promised me as long as I contact them they will work with me and I won't be homeless again. He comforted me and said trust him. Now my account is in eviction status and after many voice-mails I've left and messages I've sent before and after they've refused my money, now I'm just trying to figure out what to do. I understand debt has to be paid and I was trying to give everything I had. No one is telling me since they refused my payment when I must legally exit the premises and since my roommate is the primary applicant they have only sent her a post office notice for something and she's not here at the moment to sign for anything. I'm just upset because I was not skipping out on paying, I had even turned down another few bills to make sure sylvan gets their money, but from my last conversation I see they would rather evict me than let me settle this and pay them their money. Now who refuses money? No one is responding to my emails and right now after being refused to accept my payments and work with me I'm communicating in email and writing only because I need to show proof I had been trying to pay and I wasn't just skipping out on paying them. It's embarrassing already to be in this position and more upsetting my child watched me go homeless through my divorce and now having no idea how long we have before we are there again. Before our account was at eviction status, I was trying to pay. I know it was short $1100 but I've paid each time before and never had intentions of not paying. Yet all the emails and no one is responding to me. I'm still the one trying to work something out meanwhile I just get an eviction email telling me to email them back yet I did 2 days ago and many days before to the collection team and NO ONE is responding.

Desired outcome: They work with us. Let us catch up rent by end of July or August as we are close to the end of the lease and We are trying to pay, we aren't avoiding paying. If they can't do that, just respond and tell me when I must leave the property
