Surprice Car Rentals review: Complain broken cars

Goodmorning,

Yesterday we rented a car in Sarande. We rented a car ‘volkwagens or similar’. The first car was a Dacia and didn’t sound similar to us. Anyhow, we thought it will be fine. The moment we drive we noticed that the switch of the car was not working properly. Going forward and backward was a disaster! We even asked a local to drive our car out a parking spot, and he struggled a lot. We went back to discus it. Luckily the gave us another car. The car was a Citroen and with a big scare on the window. At first the switch was working fine. However when driving the car, we noticed that the car has lack of power. In the switch 1 and 2, there were several times not enough power, on the road as well as on the mountain. Our host experienced this as well and said that the car is just broken. You cannot rent a car like this, especially in a city of Sarande. It was a complete disaster! We just called to our contact person to say that we don’t want to drive anymore and want to return the car. They offered another car which should be brand new, but a third car?! And who says this car will not be broken. We don’t have any confidence anymore in the cars you are renting. Even when we didn’t drive (only to our accommodation) we wanted to offer to pay for one day (like €80,-) and want the other amount of money back, €220. This because we return the car (the second, broken!) and therefor in my opinion it is fair to return the left amount of money, right!?

Our contact person says that it is not possible to return the money, but in my eyes this is ridiculous. I want to complain about this situation and will kindly asked to return the amount for three days rental.

We don’t appreciate that it will be handled this way.

Desired outcome: Money from the three days we are not using the car back. Otherwise I will asked my bank company to cancel the creditcard transfer.
