Super Arbor review: Avoid super arbor at all costs – a masterclass in poor business ethics

If you're considering placing an order with Super Arbor, do yourself a favor and don't. Our experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare and unfortunately, based on other reviews, it's clear this isn’t an isolated incident — this is how they operate.
We placed an order in September 2023 for a power washer totaling $3,384.39. The product was expected to arrive between October 12th–17th. When it didn’t, we reached out on October 18th for an update. Their response? Vague assurances that the "team" was working on it. Then on October 24th, we were blindsided by a new invoice for additional freight charges, despite already having paid for shipping upfront.
When we questioned this bait-and-switch tactic and asked them to show us where in their policy it allows for surprise post-purchase fees, they deflected. On October 26th, we requested a full cancellation and refund. Their automated system said we’d hear back in 3–5 days. Later that day, they emailed us claiming we’d ordered a "unique item" and suggested we either pay more or drive from California to Phoenix to pick it up ourselves. The absurdity speaks for itself.
We repeated our cancellation request on October 27th. They replied that it would take 7–10 business days to process. We waited patiently, but by November 15th, still nothing. Follow-up emails on November 15th and 28th were completely ignored.
With no product and no refund, we had no choice but to dispute the charge with our credit card company. That too went nowhere — Super Arbor had successfully run out the clock. It wasn’t until we filed a small claims lawsuit in The Superior Court of California - County of Ventura in May 2024 against both Super Arbor and Citi Card that we finally received a full refund. Only when forced by legal action did they return our money.
This company has no regard for customers' time, money, or trust. They string you along, hit you with unexpected fees, ignore cancellation requests, and ghost you entirely once they have your money. It’s no coincidence that dozens of other reviews tell the same story.
Super Arbor may look legitimate on the surface, but don’t be fooled. Their business model seems to revolve around delay, deflection, and deceit. I lost months of time, was forced to engage in legal action, and endured enormous frustration to reclaim money that was rightfully mine. That should never be the standard for customer service.
Save yourself the trouble. Steer clear of Super Arbor.
