American Floor Mats Unhappy Customer

I ordered three mats from this company. Before I ordered I spoke with customer service and asked how long it would take for the mats to arrive of which they stated 2 days. In two days two out of three mats arrived. Sending countless emails to find out the status of the third mat and frustrated, I sent an email to cancel the third mat. 5 days later the mat arrived? I have called customer service and have sent countless emails. I canceled the order well before the third mat arrived. I expect no restocking fee and American floor mats to pay for shipping.

American Floor Mats company is falsely advertising free shipping on their website. I purchased gym floor mats online through their website and no shipping fee was being charged during my check out process online. After a few days to a week, this company will call stating that the item I bought does not qualify for free shipping. Their website clearly states no shipping on items more than $100. My purchase was $378.00. After reading reviews from ***, this company has a lot of complaints regarding this very issue.

Ordered floor mats in July I had called several time to see where they were. Finally I asked for a tracking number and was shocked to find that my mats were lost somewhere between Los Angles and Pennsylvania. No one contacted me to let me know. When I called the business, they were rude and inconvenienced by me. I just reordered and will have to wait another 6 weeks or more to get my studio mats. What a disappointment.

American Floor Mats I have not received products ordered on 7/20

I have not received products ordered on 7/20. Order# ***. Price: $449.60. I have reached out to the customer service email address at [protected]@americanfloormats.com with no response back. I had purchased floor mats to complete a home project, but because of the delay and poor customer service, I was forced to complete the project with different materials. I am seeking reimbursement for the products that I had ordered due to no delivery and no response to my email inquiry. Please let me know if there is anything else that I need to do. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I have tried several times to have them confirm the cancellation and refund my credit card. They continue to ignore all email contacts and when I get them on the phone they promise to send it out ASAP. They are holding my money hostage and I have no product.

American Floor Mats American Floor Mats solicited orders in December with no intentions of fulfilling until January, ship date late January, early February

American Floor Mats solicited orders in December with no intentions of fulfilling until January, ship date late January, early February. When called to check on order status, only then was told about the delay. When requested cancellation of order, manager threatened a service charge for cancellation - referred to it as a "set-up" charge. When asked if order was in production to merit the set-up charge, was told no, not until middle of January. Admonished me, "don't you know this is a holiday?!" Requested order cancelled, was charged $100 without approval. Told manager I would be placing complaint with ComplaintsBoard.com. Manager refused to acknowledge bad faith contract.

I ordered 2 boxes of Toilet mats for the floor, at 87.55 each. I was sent one box but charged for 2 $175.10 Have emailed several times, now they want me to take pictures of the box to send to them claiming the boxes were taped together and they want to see the box. Left no number to send the pictures too. There is no evidence that there was another box taped to this box at all.

I ordered tiles that were promised to be 24 by 24. We received a defective delivery with some tiles that were 24 by 24 and others that were 24 by 23 3/4. I notified them a few days after they arrived and our contractor already spent time laying them down. It has been over a week and they keep promising a resolution of the issue but never resolve the issues. At this point, I want a full refund for the defective tiles.

American Floor Mats The company, American Floor Mats, seems deceptive

The company, American Floor Mats, seems deceptive. Its website (and a rep by phone) promised shipping within 1-2 business days. However, six days after the order, I heard nothing, and the tracking number shows it never shipped. Non-responsive to emails. By phone, a rep there told me today that the mat needs to be "produced." I contacted the manufacturer (***), and a rep there told me that they are out of stock until December (!), and that while *** supplies American Floor Mats, the latter doesn't produce them. Another odd thing: They have a price-match guarantee, which they honored, as I had found a firm called "***.com" that had the item much cheaper. Turns out they have the same address. Anyway, enough is enough. Purchasing elsewhere (***), for $54.02 more than I paid, given the one-week delay. *** will deliver it by Friday.

American Floor Mats On July 28, I placed an order for 2 anti-fatigue kitchen floor mats

On July 28, I placed an order for 2 anti-fatigue kitchen floor mats. I ordered 2 'marbleized surface' mats in different sizes, totaling $218.40. order #***. My order finally shipped on August 4. When I received the mats, i discovered that they had been assembled incorrectly. The "marble surface" side was facing the floor, black shiny material was on the top. I tried to flip them over, but the way the plastic/rubber material is shaped, caused the edges of the mat to roll up. I contacted the company by phone and email on August 13. The person on the phone asked me to send photos, which i did. He looked at them and admitted they were made incorrectly. He said he was forwarding it to production. That is our last interaction. I have emailed and called probably 20 times. I want my money back, I'm willing to return the garbage they sent me but i can not get a response at all from the company. I am unsure what to do at this point.

American Floor Mats I purchased 3 gym mats for $550 on May 10th to have for a football camp I was doing the weekend of June 25th

I purchased 3 gym mats for $550 on May 10th to have for a football camp I was doing the weekend of June 25th. I called before purchasing to make sure it would get to me in time and the company promised they get all shipments out in 7-18 days, so it would have been plenty of time and I followed the order and it was fairly on time with the countdown, however the last 5 days it has remained at ships in 1 day to now saying there is a delay. Now here I am June 10th and after contacting customer service they said the order will not be scheduled to ship until June 22nd and possibly even later, which would be 44 days after ordering it. Customer service has been extremely unhelpful but of course took my money right away. There are multiple complaints about false advertising by this company and people getting orders late and orders that are damaged or not correctly measured and they seem extremely unprofessional about how they do business.

American Floor Mats Ordered a floor mat from American Floor Mats on September 15

Ordered a floor mat from American Floor Mats on September 15. The price, including tax, was $161.10. They sent me an acknowledgement and said the mat would ship in 1-5 days. On October 9th I sent them this email "Why does your website say that orders will ship within 5 days receipt? It's been 3 weeks, going on 4. Come on!" They responded on October 11th saying "I'm really sorry for the delay here. It appears like we're experiencing an unexpected short backorder on this item. I apologize that you were not notified as you are correct these normally ship in 1-5 days. Let me check when this will be available and I will follow up with you. Please let me know if you have any questions and we apologize for the inconvenience." I responded 'ComplaintsBoard.com" and on October 12th they came back with "A full refund has been issued" but my charge account has not been credited as of today, October 18th. They seem to be scamming me. Please help!

American Floor Mats Ordered two (2) rubber gym mats of size 10' by 4' and 3/8" thickness

Ordered two (2) rubber gym mats of size 10' by 4' and 3/8" thickness. Received two (2) rubber gym mats of size 11' 9" by 4' and 3/8: thickness. Called American Floor Matts multiple times over the course of a week with terrible customer service response (place on-hold without warning, directed to voicemail without warning, no response, etc.) End result was being instructed to obtain a craft knife, gardening gloves and 4' straight edge and attempt to but the 3/8 heavy duty rubber mat to the correct size. No information, warning, etc. given either on web site or as part of order that the mats required home user 'cut to size'. No formal instructions provided to safely complete, etc. Previous three (3) mats ordered from American Floor Mats were delivered to exact dimensions advertised and ordered. Requested American Floor Mats replace at their expense (since the product delivered was not the product ordered) with correct size or provide a full credit. Merchant declined.

American Floor Mats an order was placed to American Floor Mats on ort about 10/6

an order was placed to American Floor Mats on ort about 10/6. The order did not arrive on the specified time and time and date that was given to our company . Our company paid for 4 by 22 foot rolls of rubber flooring and upon arrival it looked to be correct . We were not able to begin construction on the project about a month later and upon unpacking the shipment we noticed that 4 of the rolls had another companies name and address on the them . We contacted the company via email and voice and was immediately blamed in not accepting the shipment correctly. After sending pictures and documentation waiting for weeks for their response they agreed there was a mistake that had been made by them. The customer service during the process was less than professional to the point as our company did something wrong in this whole situation ,in the meantime our project was short in the material needed to complete the project .At this point they have our material and our money.

American Floor Mats I ordered 2 floor mats

I ordered 2 floor mats. One 3x6 with fabric edge. The other 5x6 fabric edge. The mats arrived opened and unwrapped amd I was sent a mat much larger without fabric edge(rubber instead) and measuring 8feet 1one x 3 feet and 9 inches (instead of 3x6) it was supposed to have a solid rubber bottom but had many holes. Main issue was size and different edge type. The other mat arrive mat arrive smaller so instead of a 5x6 I was sent 4 feet 9inches by 5 feet 9 inches. Not what I paid for. They charged over 300$ for their floor mats, I expect them to arrive the correct size and with the correct matching edge and the bottom to be solid, they are advertised as better industrial quality. When I contacted them they told me mats shrink. This was not made known to me before ordering. It was not written anywhere. Maybe they added it now that I complained. I asked if their mats expanded too because one may arrived over 2 feet larger. They were still unapologetic amd unhelpful. I sent pictures, I asked for a refund and am not getting help.

American Floor Mats I placed an order for a floor amt to stand on for my home

I placed an order for a floor amt to stand on for my home. Order Number is Order #***. I understand the product has a beveled edge but no where on the product listing does it state that there is a 4 inch gap on all sides of the mat for the beveled edge. The padding doesn't extend to those edges. I called last night 10/21 to express my disappointment. The person on the phone was rude and said that is the way it is you can return it for a 25% restocking fee and I have to pay return shipping. I am happy to return it but I don't think I should have to pay a restocking fee for an item that was not used and miss represented on the website when I placed the order.He said there was no manager to talk to and they wouldn't do anything different. He took my number and said someone would call me back. I have had no response via phone nor received an email. I want a refund for the item and don't want to have to pay return shipping. it was over $100 for an item that was not correctly advertized and took a long time to get here. Nevermind how rude the employee on the phone was. He said there are for business not for personal use. Then you shouldn't allow people who are nto businesses to buy them.

American Floor Mats I ordered twice from American Floor Mats the Fit lock rubber tiles to cover some space in my household

I ordered twice from American Floor Mats the Fit lock rubber tiles to cover some space in my household. I had no complaints with the 1st batch. Before ordering the 2nd batch, I asked via email whether there will be the slightest difference in tone and I was assured by Alex (I dont know of his exact role in the company) that the 2 batches will be 100% same. I have this in writting. However, as it turned , the 2nd batch is: 1/ different tone (lighter gray), 2/ is full of white stains and 3/ has different texture (its more rough). The final result in my flooring is at least comical. I emailed American floor mats several times with photos and proof but I am consistently ignored. They only responded in one email (indirectly acknowledging the problem) and suggesting that I should try to flip the mats and see if it makes any difference (unfortunately it does not make any difference, all problems are same from either side of the tile). American floor mats got paid my money (for both the product and shipment) and has not responded to any of my follow up emails. I have asked them to replace the 2nd batch with a correct product and I'm happy to ship them back the defective units (at their shipping cost).

American Floor Mats I ordered rubber underlayment from American Floormats on April 19th

I ordered rubber underlayment from American Floormats on April 19th. It very clearly shows on the main landing page on the website that orders over $100 have free shipping and no fine print or details upon clicking the link. I ordered the mats. My bank account shows the order processed and my account page on their website shows that my order was processed. I reached out today on April 21st to check on my order. I received an email back from Chris that my order would now include a $200 shipping fee. My paid invoice shows $0.00 *** Ground Shipping, my account on their webpage shows $0.00 *** Shipping under the Shipping section and my total invoice also shows $0.00 Shipping. I have take pictures of all the areas noting the free shipping but Chris at American Floormats insists that there is a disclaimer buried at the bottom of the description page. They wer not willing to honor any of the invoices, account page, or otherwise. I explained that I felt this was a dishonest business practice and asked to speak to a manager, supervisor, owner, etc... anyone above Chris. He said no one is available and that I can send an email via the company website. Virtually no existence of customer service, communication. I am now awaiting a refund and proof of that refund.

American Floor Mats I ordered a chair mat

I ordered a chair mat. It was a standard mat that was on their website with no customization or personalization on it. Apparently, they make up the mats as orders come in and call it custom when it is not custom. My carpet was actually less thick than the specifications allowed for the mat I ordered. I then with difficulty unrolled the mat under my desk chair. The chair sank so deeply into the mat that I had great difficulty rolling my chair on it. After having it two days, I contacted the company about the problem and asked to return it. I was told that I could not return it without paying the return shipping and a 25% restocking fee. I did not see any reference to a restocking fee anywhere on my order receipt, nor was it plainly visible on their website. They said I could upgrade to a thicker level if I wanted to and they would waive the restocking fee on the current mat, but that they would not guarantee the next level of thickness would be to my satisfaction. They also would not guarantee that I would not have to pay a restocking fee if the next mat did not work. The customer service rep did nothing but argue with me when I called. He was the most rude and disrespectful customer service person I have ever met. I got nowhere with him and he admitted that their mats were more pliable (softer) than other mats which helped to elimate cracking. This however also caused the chair not to glide over the mat very well.

American Floor Mats On August 3 I ordered vinyl poolside floor runners

On August 3 I ordered vinyl poolside floor runners. Before I placed the order, I spoke with a person (male) who REFUSED to identify himself. No other party was answering their phone number. I placed an order for two different sized runners I needed in two weeks for a specific function. One was a 3' x 10' vinyl runner and the other was a 3' x 40' vinyl runner. The person answered my concerns regarding shipping time, anti slip qualities and appropriateness for the use application. I received tracking information for both items and received ONE only...the 3' x 10'. I called again after receiving the first runner and no answer. I looked at tracking info and the runner I received was shown as delivered. The longer runner did not show any movement I spoke with *** on 8/21 and was told that the item with the assigned tracking number never came into the facility to be scanned. I called back and re-verified this the next day. At that time I called my bank and disputed the charge for the 3'40' runner in the amount of $656.48 on my Visa Card. This charge should NEVER have occurred until the item was ready for shipment. Now I cannot use that item since it did not arrive as it was supposed to. *** informed me that the merchant needed to cancel the second tracking number for the item NOT SENT and only the merchant could do this. I emailed the merchant and left voice mails...NO RESPONSE. Today I called the company at 11:14 EST. A male sounding voice answered. I introduced myself and asked who I was speaking to and there was a hang up. I called again, hang up after I said three words. I called back and only a pick up and hang up two more times. The merchant has been notified of the disputed charge, the *** instructions and request to comply with refund requested. This person is rude, deceptive in charging before having item to send, and definitely not a consumer oriented individual. I only want my money back taken inappropriately.

Premium Chair mat dented after first use contrary to their website claims. Return/refund policy not stated on website. It requires you to pay for return shipping and also charges you a "25% Restocking Fee". BEWARE. Lots of complaints.
