www.startlogic.comFacing Problem But no Response from startlogic

23-12-2015 We are registered on start logic, facing problem like send mail receiving mail 2-3 times in a month, They are always says we trying to resolve, our server problem etc etc. Today facing Same problem but this time no response from their site. whenever i am trying to chat with startlogic no technical engineers are available to chat with us and resolve my problem. my work is hampering. pls help Pabitra Dutta Management Services

    StartlogicWish I had of researched it before I gave them our credit card number

    We are very very disgusted with startlogic inc. company, startlogic. We signed up for a 2 year web site, but after a couple months our product failed, and so the web site was useless and unused. At the end of 2 years they billed us another $185. dollars and charged it through our credit card without letting us know. No email, no notification at all. This web site has been dead for a year and a half. They charged us for another 2 years on a dead web site. We did not authroize them to go into our credit card and take money for another 2 year contract. This is fraud. This is not acceptable buisness practice and we are very angry. We will be talking to the Better business bureau until these charges are reversed. We phoned startlogic inc., but they would not give us any options to cancel. Startlogic is conducting their business like a scam artists would! Startlogic has ripped us off. Startlogic web host should never be given your credit card. DO NOT ever give Startlogic Inc. your credit card or you may regret it! Isn't this a scam? Isn't this fraud? I found numerous complaint to the BBB for this company and wish I had of researched it before I gave them our credit card number.

        Startlogicfailure to report site traffic

        Startlogic promises to supply website traffic. As a business owner, you rely on traffic count to sell advertising.

        Everymonth, I get an email that says "view traffic". When I click on it, it shows false numbers. Then I open a ticket to find out why I'm not getting this information I need to supply my advertisers with. The tickets are almost always closed prematurely. They always reply that the situation has been fixed. It has never been fixed, after 4 complaints yet the tickets are all closed, and situation is "resolved" according to them.

        If you are a business, and you need your website to make money, don't use Startlogic. Poor customer service, violation of own terms of agreement promising website traffic statistics, and MAJOR FTP issues.

        Startlogic you SUCK.

            Startlogic is doing a bait and switch.

            They are DOWNGRADING all their customers' email storage quotas.

            In a time when companies are doing more to win their customers' loyalty, Startlogic takes away from their customers. Way to get customer loyalty, you idiots!

            StartLogic is a thief as well. I signed up with one account meaning if I go into it and set it to Manual Renewals, then no automatic transaction should occur right. Well, that is not so with Startlogic. They will still go into your bank account an withdraw your money Automatically.

            This happened to me and I am demanding all of my money back. However, they would not give it to me saying that my account was canceled on Sept. 1, 09. Yeah, only after I contacted the company to tell that they are stealing my money. They had no right to go into my bank account and take my money. I contacted them to get their address and the CEO/President's full name so I can have my lawyer contact them about this un-authorize transaction. They won't offer up his name. If you claim to be a legitimate business then you should not hide behind your business.

            Startlogic is a crooked business, web hosting company.

          Better work fast I havefiled a complaint with the BBB I am going to report you to the SEC and also filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals office on monday I am going to file a class action lawsuit. If Startlogic cannot run an honest bussiness I am going to help take them down.


          New ticket reguarding web page responsiveness and FTP issue:

          I am having FTP issues, the server is forcibly closing the connection, the web page is very unresponsive, please remind me what I signed up for when I allowed Startlogic to access my bank account and take money from me.

          We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have experienced some issues with our FTP server. However, our engineers have resolved the issue. Now you should be able to connect to the FTP sever without any issue. You need to use the following FTP settings:
          1) Host Name: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
          2) User ID / Login Name: Your FTP username.
          3) Password: Your FTP password.
          4) Port: 21.
          5) FTP Remote Host Directory: public_html

          Our records show that you account is suspended due to Terms of Violation issue. The issue regarding this is already forwarded to senior specialists. Currently, one of our senior specialists are working on it to resolve the issue.

          If you have any further questions, please update the Support Console.

          FTP is fine but if you notice there were two issues please read the whole ticket.
          Why is everything so hard to accomplish for you people, are you really a technical specialist or are you reading out of a book as you go along I guess startlogic's workforce is not the cream of the crop why else would startlogic be able to offer good pricing...
          ...Can you find someone who is somewhat competent in their job and fix the problems brought to your attention or at least outsource to someone who can accomplish what is advertised?

            Startlogic accidentally deleted my webaccount, making my site non functional for almost a week now and is still in process of retrieving my databases and main site... No one seems to care about your problem and that you have abusiness to run... All they do is say sorry, not solve anything and refer you to their disclaimer that they are not liable for any damages ( to be determined) ... They love to say the issue issue is resolved while not resolving a thing, it is impossible to get past any first level service ( tech, cut and builling) who are incompetent solving a real issue and seem to be ok with that and put you on 48 hour wait for resolution scripts.. but then they do not resolve a thing... There are so much more webhosting companies out there... STARTLOGIC NEVER AGAIN... LESS YOU WANT TO SPEND A WEEK TALKING TO A WALL OF ILL EQUIPED AND PREPARED SERVICE REPS FROM INDIA AND THE PHIILIPINES... ITS A NIGHTMARE

              StartlogicUnreliable service!

              Since 2004 I have experienced the following problems with Startlogic: The premature closure of support tickets, with no response from the helpdesk. Removing Anonymous FTP access. I can no longer host files via FTP for users unless credentials are created for them. Main account to connect to my site via FTP was disabled for no apparent reason. I had to log into my vDeck and create a new user. Lots of problems with the vDeck control panel and items refusing to load, or the entire control panel becoming inaccessible.

              Inability of the Startlogic Helpdesk to create a CNAME subdomain record correctly. They fail to put a full stop/period after the name of the server I am pointing the CNAME to. This is despite me advising them to use a full stop. This functionality is available in the vDeck Control panel, but only when it's working!

              Extensive delays in having my hard disk space increased. They would increase storage space for me and I would find the next day that it had reverted to the previous size. Failure of email services from time to time. Inability for the Startlogic helpdesk to email me at my New Zealand ISP (Orcon) email address. Nothing ever comes through that they send to that address, whether it be from a person or any automated notification system they have configured. They can email me at my @nztechie.com address.
