The store’s posted hours indicate a closing time of 10:00 PM. However, upon arrival at approximately 9:40 PM, I found the doors locked and was unable to enter the premises.
While outside, I clearly observed an employee inside the store seated, wearing headphones, and eating. I knocked on the door in an attempt to receive service; the employee looked directly in my direction but chose to ignore me and did not provide any acknowledgment or assistance.
This situation is particularly concerning because I made a 30-minute drive specifically to visit this location based on the advertised closing time. The discrepancy between the stated hours and the actual refusal of service constitutes misleading information and resulted in a complete waste of my time and travel.
I also have two photographs documenting the condition of the store at the time, including the employee inside during posted operating hours. I am prepared to provide these as supporting evidence upon request.
If the store is not able to serve customers until the posted closing time, then the publicly listed hours should be updated to reflect actual operations. Customers rely on this information, and failure to provide accurate hours undermines trust and causes unnecessary inconvenience.
I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and addressed promptly. I would also appreciate clarification regarding this store’s actual closing procedures and any corrective actions being taken to prevent similar occurrences.
