I placed a mobile order at 18:06 for an iced caffe latte and a bacon, sausage end egg wrap, firstly so much of milk and syrup was sold out, I was astonished that a coffee shop runs out of milk and syrup? when I arrived at the store, it was utter chaos. A very long que for people that needed to order and a lot of people waiting for their orders. The gentleman that was making the drinks was extremely slow, the lady making the food, kept bringing up wrong orders for people and the dis organization and mess in the drinks area was terrible. I recevied my food order after 10 minutes of waiting but no drink. 5 minutes on and the gentleman making the drinks annouces that the espresso machine has broken and that he could not make any espresso drinks that people had ordered and paid for, but could do hot coffee? No one explained how people could get refunded and it turned into more chaos. People did not know if there drink could be made or how to get a refund. There was no system in place where the starbucks team could have called out the names of the people that were waiting to see if there was an alternative drink they would like. I stood again for a further 10 minutes and had to ask another lady who was making cold drinks about my drink, she was rude and said do you have a receipt? I explained that I mobile ordered and already have my food, she then asked my name to which I replied and then she asked me what I ordered as all the orders they had were stuck all over the place. She could not find my order and asked me what I ordered, which i told her, then she said NO, the machine is broken we cannot make this, I asked how they can make cold americano, which I had seen but could not make an ice latte? She just said if you want your money back get in the que over there. I did not have time as I had a flight to catch. I understand sometimes machines break, but before the machine was broken it was chaos and extremely slow, some people were complaining they had been waiting 30 minutes already, then when the machine broke, not 1 person from the starbucks team know what to do and how to handle the situation. Also the food that I ordered was not good. So i have no coffee and sub standard food and paid $18.11 for the privilege. So I am now a very un happy Starbucks customer.
Desired outcome: I would like a response, I would like an apology and I would like a refund and compensation for the wasted time that I spent waiting.
