Star Towing

On January 20, 2023, I paid Star Towing for their services, but unfortunately, my vehicle got smashed and I noticed that $693.52 worth of my personal belongings were missing. I received an estimate for the damages, which amounted to a significant sum. I have tried reaching out to them by leaving messages and sending emails, but they have failed to respond to my concerns.

I got my car towed, but it's registered to my complex. I came home at midnight, and my car was towed sometime between then and 10 am. That's not even 24 hours, and I wasn't notified at all. Now they want to charge me nearly $500 to get it back. I have no way of paying that amount, and I don't understand why my car was towed without any notice. The towing company is being careless, and we really need assistance.

Tow truck driver messed up my rooftop shower ($350 Market Price) and scratched the spoiler ($450 Market Price). Both damages happened when the truck hit the garage ceiling where my car was parked. The management ain't responding to my calls or even contacting me about the complaint form I filled out there. I need the tow truck company's insurance info to make a claim with my insurance, but they won't give it to me.

Star Towing towed my car illegally. I parked in a residential loading zone with loading zone letters painted on the curb, no solid color, just the letters. It's right next to my friend's apartment at ***. ***. I was waiting for her husband to come home so he could assist me in loading my mobile wheelchair. I had been parked there for about an hour when they decided to tow my car. Can you believe it? And to make matters worse, they had the audacity to demand $400.00 to release my car. That's just plain wrong! I even have handicap license plates!
