When I asked if they had any mens sweat pants I was only shown(a very small) selection of Nike, Adidas, and Puma. I purchased a pair for 60.00. Later returned looking for Burton t-shirts & again I had asked for direction and she showed me them, that's when I saw MANY other sweat pants that were less expensive. Last week my sister was shopping there and when asked for help she too was only shown the most expensive option. I finde this very deceiving. After many years of shopping there I will no longer be a customer. I will shop online instead.

They have great quality. What you see is what you get. Their prices, especially the flash sales are awesome! Suggest sign up for emails get an additional 10% off. Also received free shipping and receive within couple days... very fast.
Only one small criticism, that is the account registration process is tedious, long and doesn't always save.
But otherwise one of the best, most service oriented sites I have dealt with.

Waterloo store is well stocked and staff were helpful but not intrusive. Some well priced sale items too.

But since this is sitejabber, a subsequent sportchek.ca online order was perfect - an easy to use website with some great prices and clearance items, accurate fulfillment and very speedy shipping. I've read some dissatisfied online customers and I don't doubt their reviews but on my first try, I'm100% satisfied with sportchek.ca and will use it again without hesitation.

I went in search of new shoes with specific requirements. Standing in the shoe dept, there was an employee standing doing back twists, not paying any attention to what was going on around him, until a young woman in a blue sweater and proceeded to show him a gold chain and attachment that she wore around her neck. After 30 secs of this, they went in different directions, and then there were NO staff in that area of shoes.
I had to wander across the store to the other side to the 'Service desk' where 4 employees were standing around chatting with a person and her new baby. I assume that she was an employee on mat leave or a previous employee.
One of this group approached to offer assistance. I accepted and commented about the earlier clerk who summarily ignored me, and she commented that he must have had another customer. I told her that it was apparent that he did not, due to the length of time that he was doing his spinal twist exercises. She said that he would be 'spoken to' about this. I have my doubts.
She did get someone out of the back to assist me.
We went to the show wall, had a brief discussion about what I needed, had to check the attributes of shoes using her handheld device, disappeared into the back and returned with a pair of shoes, then she was off again (the store was not busy whatsoever from what I could see).
I inserted my orthotics into the shoes and had a brief walk about, and as I looked around for her for more assistance she was not to be found.
I figured that I shouldn't have to work this hard to give a store my money, and I left.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews of this store and not wasted my time,
As I now have to drive out to a specialty store where the staff are knowledgeable and attentive.

Purchased on line a Garmin forerunner 735xt 1 month ago ($519.99+tax). After 1 week the package arrived. The seal was opened and the watch was defective. I went to the store, they took back the defective item and they ordered on line for me another Garmin 735 xt. I waited another week for the delivery. The package finally arrived with Ups. I signed and I opened it. The Garmin watch box had, again, an opened seal but this time I found inside all the accessories except the watch! I couldn't believe it. I called right away the customer service (40 minutes call) and they asked me first to send back the watch meanwhile they would start an investigation about this issue. We agreed at the phone to bring the item back at the store at Devonshire mall (Windsor). I went at the store (again!). I spoke with a store manager and she called the customer service in front of me to ask details about the case. They told me that I couldn't give the box back at the the store. They told me to wait a call from the customer service at the end of the investigation in max 3 business day. I received finally a call from the case manager saying that he would take care of it and he would handle all the procedure. He would provide to give me a refund. He sent me a 20% discount for a next order on line to compensate the experienced issues. He asked me kindly to wait few days because they were busy for Black Friday. I waited again 4 days and I called back more than twice asking updates about the case. After 1 week from the first email I received another one from the same case manager saying that the investigation was still in process and he was still waiting for a confirmation to give me my money back.
So far no updates and I'm still waiting for my money back from over 2 weeks.
So far I paid almost $600 for an empty box!
Ridiculous service. Guys, don't buy any electronics item on line from them if you don't want to go through this hell!

I recently made a purchase on SportChek.ca for 4 pairs of shoes that cost me over $500. It's been over a month now and the tracking information shows that the package has reached Canada Post and is ready to go. However, I still haven't received my order yet. I also made a similar purchase at Footlocker during the same time and received my goods within 7 business days. This experience has left me feeling very disappointed and frustrated.

I was hoping to get some assistance from a live agent or through a live chat, but unfortunately, SportChek.ca doesn't offer these options. It's really frustrating to not have someone to talk to when you have an issue with your order. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. It's really bush league and unacceptable in this day and age.

I'm really disappointed with my experience with SportChek.ca and I don't think I'll be shopping here again. I'll also be telling all my family and friends not to spend their money here. It's just not worth it. I hope they can improve their customer service and delivery times in the future.

Finally, I was able to speak to the manager in the store. However, he told me that there was nothing he could do except offer me a discount on new dumbbells. I was very unhappy with the situation and felt like I had wasted my money on a low-quality product. I would not recommend buying anything from SportChek.ca if this is the kind of service and quality they offer.

I recently made a big purchase on SportChek.ca, buying a bunch of shoes and shirts all in the same size for myself. I spent a lot of money, but I never had any issues with my orders before. However, my latest purchase of an Adidas shirt and shoes was a huge disappointment. Despite following SportChek's size recommendation, the items were way too big for me.

I tried calling customer service for over a week, but I couldn't get through to anyone. Finally, when I did get a response, they sent me an RMA that I can't even print out because of the language used. I am absolutely appalled to find out that SportChek doesn't allow exchanges and that I have to pay for the return shipping myself!

I think SportChek should take a page out of Under Armour's book. Under Armour is offering a 40% discount for responders and free, I repeat free, no-hassle returns. If SportChek wants to keep customers like me, they need to step up their game.

I'm going to let everyone I know about this terrible experience. It's not worth spending your hard-earned money on a company that doesn't care about its customers.

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with SportChek.ca. I mean, I wouldn't recommend buying from them if you can help it. The thing is, when you order something online, they don't really tell you about their return policies. Like, you gotta go digging on their website to find out what the exceptions are. Who's got time for that, you know? And they don't even send you an email with that info when you get your order confirmation and invoice. Like, what's up with that?

I recently had an experience at SportChek.ca that left me feeling quite disappointed. I had brought in my expensive figure skates that I use for professional skating to get them sharpened. The person who helped me was not very friendly and seemed to be in a rush. It took over an hour for them to sharpen my skates, which seemed like a long time to me.

When I picked up my skates, I immediately noticed scratches all over the blades and a strange type of oil on the boot itself. I was quite upset about this, as I had just purchased these skates about a week before and they were practically brand new. I decided to take them to a professional figure skating store to get a second opinion.

Unfortunately, the news was not good. The blade on my skates was completely ruined and the tail was completely rounded. This meant that no other skate stores would accept them, as they were unbalanced and unusable. I was devastated, as these skates had cost me a lot of money and I had only used them a few times.

Overall, I would not recommend SportChek.ca for figure skate sharpening. The experience I had was not a good one and I ended up with ruined skates. If you have expensive figure skates that you care about, I would suggest finding a different place to get them sharpened.

I am a frequent customer of SportChek.ca and I must say that while the prices and selection are decent, the shipping service is quite poor. I have had a number of issues with the delivery of my orders, specifically with the courier service used in my area. SportChek.ca seems to insist on using Purolator, which unfortunately does not deliver to my location, despite being just 3 kilometers away from my home. I have made numerous complaints to both Purolator and SportChek.ca, but to no avail.

It is quite frustrating that SportChek.ca is unable to exclude or specify a different courier service for my account. It seems odd that they are able to save my address and rewards card number without any issues, but are unable to add a simple note like "DO NOT USE PUROLATOR" to my account. This lack of flexibility and customer service is quite disappointing, especially for a company that prides itself on providing quality products and services.

SportChek.ca is a website that I recently had the misfortune of shopping on. I was hoping for a smooth and easy shopping experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I want to warn others that shopping on this website is not like shopping on Amazon, or any other popular online shopping website. In fact, I was ripped off right here in Canada!

I thought I was being safe by shopping Canadian, but little did I know that SportChek would put me through two months of return hell and leave me out $73! I'm just glad I didn't order more items. The problem was that the return address did not acknowledge Canada Post returns, no one answered the phone, and I ended up being out the cost of the product, return postage, and eight weeks of hassle.

I am extremely disappointed in SportChek and will boycott them from this day forward! Shame on you, SportChek! I only gave them one star to post this review. I hope others will take my warning seriously and avoid shopping on this website. It's just not worth the risk.

I recently made a purchase on SportChek.ca for a pair of winter boots on November 28th, 2020. The confirmation email stated that I would receive my order by December 2nd, but unfortunately, the boots did not arrive on that day. I patiently waited for the next few days, hoping that my package would arrive soon. However, the delivery dates kept getting pushed back to December 3rd, 4th, and 5th, but still no sign of my order.

To my dismay, my package went off the radar on December 6th. I contacted Canada Post to inquire about my package, but they informed me that they have not received it from the shipper. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from SportChek.ca. If I had known that this would happen, I would have gone to the store to purchase the boots instead.

I decided to call SportChek.ca's customer service to get some answers. However, all they could tell me was that they would "look into it." I have yet to receive any results or a reply from them. The package was supposed to have been sent via expedited post, but it seems like a joke to me.

I am now looking forward to the hassle of getting my money back and listening to their lame excuses, such as blaming Covid-19 and Canada Post. I would advise anyone who wants to shop at SportChek.ca to do so in-store when they have the merchandise in their hands. It's just not worth the hassle and disappointment of waiting for a package that may never arrive.

The Sportchek website is complete garbage. The site itself is buggy and has many issues (from deadend links that end in errors to the inability to track your order status yourself without having to call into [protected] and waste more of your precious time! Ordering online the last week of November and the first week of December, ordering items that are in stock should ALWAYS guarantee on time delivery well befor the holidays. It's sad how much stress this whole online shopping experience has caused me. I should have gone with any other merchant, but I tried to support a Canadian merchant and now am left with two family members still to shop for :( I am not looking forward to more time on hold while dealing with incompetent customer service to try and cancel my order, or having to refuse the parcel when it arrives after the holiday. My advice to shoppers...avoid Sportchek.ca at all cost!

First me and my friend, Ahmed waiting to get my cloths from sportchek locker room. as were waiting i was sitting down and Ahmed was dribbeling the soccer ball and testing it, if he should buy IT or not. as i was sitting down the manager shawn comes up to me. And tells me to stop fooling around. i said im not and im waiting for my stuff fROM ur staff to get them for me.. he sudintley tripped out and told me "STOP ###ING AROUND" three times to my face...he raised his voice on me and my friend as we were customers. Also he said u have 5 min to leave the store and he lost his tamper and said We r not customers or employes to him or sportchek company...he was still argueing ans swearing at us to leave..the other manager had to come and see the problim...as he was still yelling i ignored him and walked away...As i was walking away he called me to come back with loud voice across the mall..like asking me to fight or like sounded like he was my dad...telling me what to do... Still as i was leaving the store he was giveing a very disgusting dirty look...i dint understand what was wrong with him..THAT MANAGER WAS VERY VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO ME AND HE WAS TOO OTHERS...ALSO I HAVE THREE WINESSES AND TWO OF THEM ARE EMPLOYES AT SPORTCHEK...please deal with this situation and the manager...i would not like to see him again at that store working as i am shopping.. thank you
