In Sep my mother passed away so that caused a ton of expenses for me. I contacted Toyota and they told me I could move two months to the end and that I had to pay 658 dollars to be able to approve for the extension (unheard off).
I did so, they approved it, then in Nov I did not have to pay anything, comes Dic and then all of a sudden, my payment was behind 23 days, so they took the money from my account (to activate the payment extension) and did not do such payment extension. My money was not returned to me, they took it, did whatever they needed and ran.
Called customer support and they are worse than any company ever, called three times and the three times I was hung up on because they did not know what to say. To the point that one of them having no explanation told me this made-up story, saying well when you bought the car you did not make a first payment. Eh, a first payment was not required, or the dealer would've never given me the keys to it. Even more so, if that were the case, since April, every single month I would've had a late payment fee every single month then. To which they just hung up.
Horrific service, if you have not signed the dotted line, RUN they are horrible, customer support is in some other country and none of them know how to explain anything regarding the messes they themselves create.
Through the most difficult time of my life, Toyota finance made sure to make my pain triple. I will be ending my lease and never again making a deal with this company, they are just horrible.
