Sono Bello Medical record and laser lipo

I am continuing to complain about sonobello. I signed to get my medical record released to me over 2 months ago and the only thing I have heard is that my record is at corporate. This is a really shady tactic and I feel they are delaying providing me the records because I am at the point when I would not be able tofile a lawsuit against them. I am going to seek legal council in regards to this matter and my original complaint.

Desired outcome: Restitution

Sono Bello Customer service / procedure

Hello

I was due to have a procedure with Sono Bello, the made an appointment for me to have my pre op the day before my surgery and said I had to pay in full. They requested information via text message more than once. They charged my husbands card 3-4 times saying it wasn't working. The day of pre op I met the doctor and the experience was horrible. I walked out of the office crying. Later I was told I would revive my refund by Kayla. I wrote a review about my experience on Yelp and after deciding I didn't want to continue with Sono Bello Kayla said "I won't give your full refund until you take down the review from Yelp" and then hung up. I called customer service and they said I was entitled to my full refund since I didn't even have a procedure done at all. The pre op appointment didn't even last more then ten minutes. The Doctor was horrible. All I want is my refund please and to get this company out of my life. I don't want to have to worry about my review because people deserve to know what others have experienced so they make a sound decision. Please help

Desired outcome: Full refund

Sono Bello Breach of contract

I had initial consultation with sales rep Denisse Gunn and a $1, 000 deposit was made per financial agreement. Sono Bello arbitrarily charged the remaining $3, 589 balance to the card on file 23 days prior to the procedure without notifying or getting approval from me. Per contractual agreement, a client can make payments up to 14 days prior to the procedure date.

I have repeatedly attempted to request a refund since 5/18/21 and as of 6/9/21 I am still getting the run around. On 5/25/21, I was informed by the sales rep Denisse Gunn that I will not receive any of my money back. When I told her that only my deposit should be kept, Ms. Gunn stated that she will retain $1, 995 despite the fact that I was only charged a deposit of $1, 000.

Ms. Gunn relentlessly disregarded my request and her tactics were aggressive and dismissive. She kept telling me to think about it and call back; no means NO. Sono Bello is breaching the contract and not following their own policies.

The manager Mia Rangel stated that she would give me all of the money back; I have not heard from here since 5/25/21.

Desired outcome: I want my money back since the agreed services were not rendered.

Sono Bello Liposuction and trisculpt e/x

I am a current patient with Sono Bello. The intent of this letter is to share awareness of the patient experience for services performed by Sono Bello Oak Brook.
On March 9, 2021, I purchased the Upper/Lower Ab, Arms liposuction, as well as the TriSculpt E/X. My procedure was performed on April 30, 2021. It was explained that some discomfort would be experienced during the numbing and liposuction process. Discomfort is not how I would describe my personal experience. I was shocked by the level of intense pain I endured throughout the procedure. Of the 4 areas that was to receive treatment, only 3 were completed due to the discomfort and all numbing medication had been utilized.
My pain, unfortunately, did not subside during the first week of recovery. I expressed to my husband that I didn't believe what I was experiencing was normal for this type of procedure. I had a smell coming from my abdomen that was reminiscent of rotting flesh. I was unable to eat, sleep or function for 4 weeks. I was depressed and emotional from being in constant pain with no relief.
My first follow-up was May 10, 2021. This was a virtual visit with a nurse. I was asked to text images of my abdomen and we had a phone call. I expressed my concerns and shared the pain I was experiencing along with hardness and heat coming from my abdomen. I was advised this was completely normal.
On the morning of Monday May 17, 2021, I began to leak a brown fluid from my E/X incision area. The leak within a few hours turned into a heavy flow. I had to stand in the shower because the flow of bloody fluid was so great. I called Sono Bello and spoke with a nurse. She asked that I send her images of the wound through email. I was advised that the doctors are only in the office on Fridays. She would reach out to the doctor and call me back. They called me back approximately 2 hours later. She advised that antibiotics had been sent to my local pharmacy, to take them today and keep her posted on my condition. By this time the flow of blood was still constant, I advised the nurse that my husband was taking me to the emergency room. She asked if we wanted to come to Sono Bello first so she can assess the wound. I asked if she could treat me or if a doctor would be in to offer treatment. She reiterated that there are no doctors on-site except for Friday's. All she could do is assess the issue.
This situation is the primary reason for writing this letter to share my experience as a patient. A patient that is experiencing a crisis should have access to a doctor to provide treatment. It is my opinion, that this is negligence. You have a patient that is experiencing something extremely frightening and the response is to have the patient provide pictures and have them take some antibiotics to see if that resolves the issue. This, dear Sir or Madam, is unacceptable from a patient perspective.
The testing performed by the emergency room physician concluded the following. I had a major infection containing light growth of staph, light growth of enterococcus and heavy growth of Citrobacter koseri. I was told this was a very major infection that could have resulted in a critical physical reaction if I had not pursued emergency medical services.
I advised the Sono Bello nurse of this the same day. An appointment was scheduled for me to see the doctor Friday, May 21, 2021. During this visit, this information was reviewed with the doctor and his response was I'm not concerned about that, you appear to be healing well and your wounds look fine. I was absolutely stunned by these comments. The doctor even stated that the culture IDs performed by the hospital are not conclusive and he doesn't believe there should be reason for concern. Please keep in mind, this is now 3 weeks post-procedure. I was experiencing pain from the hardness of my abdomen; I had not been able to return to work or even function fully as a mother or wife. I was walking with assistance, unable to shower or use the bathroom without assistance. My life for 3 weeks was non-existent although I was receiving literature from Sono Bello advising what to expect as part of my healing process and physical progress every week. I was unable to do any of the things stated in these emails and videos. Any walking produced greater pain and additional discharge from my wounds. My life for three weeks was committed to a reclining chair.
It is my hope, in sharing this experience from the patient perspective; identifies areas where Sono Bello can implement improvements. Especially in regards to physician availability. In my frustration, I abruptly left my visit with the doctor on Friday, May 21st and I have not returned to Sono Bello.
Lastly, on May 24, 2021 I contacted my Sono Bello consultant and notified her that my experience has not been positive with Sono Bello. I expressed that due to the complications I have experienced and continue to experience during my healing process, I am unable to put my body through any additional plastic surgery. I advised that the liposuction of the arms was never performed and would like to have this charge removed from my financing. They responded with an updated quote indicating that the initial pricing provided was discounted due to the number of areas I was to receive treatment. Since I am removing one area my procedure total would increase from $9, 944.12 to $10, 697.03. Again, this took my level of disappointment is doing business with Sono Bello to a deeper depth.
As a patient/customer, I do not feel that Sono Bello has extended empathy in regards to my situation. I understand that this is a business but it is the patient that drives that business with return business and referrals. It must be understood that an individual knows their body, when it is sensed that something is not okay, it should be followed through. Care, precaution and interest should be provided by the Sono Bello team. Throughout my ordeal, I do not feel that I received the proper support, concern, or care from the Sono Bello Oak Brook team. The reason for this is to bring to attention the need for medical treatment for Sono Bello patients that may experience various medical emergencies as a result of their plastic surgery procedure. In extreme cases, a patient could receive an infection that could quickly turn septic with the possibility of death. It is very important that Sono Bello has physicians available to provide treatment and take patient concerns seriously.

Sono Bello Liposuction

March in March 2019 I had liposuction done at Sono Bello in Pennsylvania. I had my love handles, lower and upper stomach, and outer thighs done. Right after they gave me my drugs for the procedure and I was a bit loopy they had the doctor come in and it wasn't the doctor that was supposed to be doing my procedure but I felt I couldn't just leave because I was drugged up... They ended up only taking 2 lbs off of me I wasn't fat, just want some sculpting... Now my stomach is all lumpy, my outer thighs look like I had an ice cream scoop of meat taken out and nothing looks normal at all. I'm probably never going to wear a bathing suit again! Plus my stomach is like so out of walk, its like I can't even tighten it up, like it frozen! I always gave and still do power walk 4 miles most days and I'm a very active person... But my body feels like it will never ever be normal again! These people butchered me for sure... Please help! I'd love to join a class action lawsuit... I paid over $7, 000.00 for this and I feel robbed! My email is [protected]@gmail.com... Thank you;) Melissa A. Breunig

Sono Bello Ex, Upper/lower/waist liposuction not dine correctly, just took my koney

I had the EX done along with upper abdomen lower abdomen in my waists lipo-suctioned. I went in on March 22nd 2021 to have this procedure done only to still feel as if nothing has been done I still look the same way I did before I went to have the procedure done, I notified them on my 1st week visit that I still feel big and have rolls that were not even removed. I notified them on my one month visit the same thing, they told me that it takes time and they will examine me at 3 months visit so now we are at this point where am waiting for my 3 month visit only to continue to look in the mirror and feel disgusted more bow than before especially with this huge incision across my lower stomach, my self esteem is lower now than ever and I feel depressed about the entire situation. I missed out on class lessons and money from clients that I could have serviced. I feel depressed, angry, embarrassed now more than ever and my self esteem is past low, everytime I look in the mirror I cry, $9000 down the drain.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for the entire procedure, I've wasted time and missed out on money because of this

A couple things... for one, you actually look quite different. It may not have been what you were looking for, but there is quite a change. Secondly, did your doctor explain visceral fat to you? You look to have quite a bit of visceral fat, and visceral fat cannot be removed by lipo. Lipo isn't a weight loss procedure and they maybe should've explained that to you more. Please keep in mind that you can get your revision surgery in a year if you are unsatisfied and do not weigh more than your original weight, for free. Don't feel discouraged. I think they probably should've encouraged you to lose weight before they performed the surgery, but I can definitely see a big difference.

Sono Bello Laser lipo suction to the upper and lower abdomin.

I had come to sonobello for abdominal upper and lower laser lipo. I was seen as the last case of the day and the pills they gave me were not effective anesthesia. I felt the pain and at some points I felt like my ribs were being scraped. I was in such a great amount of pain for several weeks. I could not sleep in my bed because I had to much pain to sit up so I slept in a recliner for 3 weeks. When I came back I had complained about pain and feeling of tightness around my abdomin. I was told use the
Compression garment. My next appointment I was still having abdominal pain and the scars from laser lipo were bigger then I expected. I also had a feeling that a herniation to my right upper abdomin had happened. I was seen and the MD who saw me did not even palpate my abdomin or give me rx for sono or ct scan. I was spoken to as if I was trying to get something for nothing from sonobello. I was told The MD who did my procedure And the MD who ignored my compliants
We're both no longer working for sonobello. My abdomin is totally disproportioned and my density continues. I still have abdominal thighness that is effecting the quality of my life. My body image is very low. The last insult is that I asked for my Medical record and signed for the release. This was a week ago and sonobello has not sent me my records or called me to tell me what the hold up is. I am a cancer patient who came to sono bello after having bilateral breast surgery. I wanted to feel like a woman again but instead I not only look deformed I have continuous pain. I have missed work, my job options are now limited due to my level of discomfort. This is my story and I do believe that not only was the care rushed, it was negligent.

When will someone respond to my complaints? I made my initial complaint over 9 months ago. I have not received one word from the complaint board. This is really a poor business model. Again I am still suffering from a proceedure that was done almost 2 years ago. I can not even get my medical records. I guess they are holding back until the time for filing a lawsuit has past.

What is the function this complaint board serves? Sono Bello has not helped anyone and I don't believe that this is a true complaint board I think it's just a beard for sonobello to buy time. I requested my medical records about a month ago and sonobello says they are reviewing my records. If nothing was done wrong why do they need a month to review my medical records. I believe that if it is amEMR they are adding or taking things out. It's the only reason for this delay.

Sono Bello Zero results, pain, tingling and numbness won’t go away.

Hello,
My name is Olena Sherrell. I used Sonobello services on 9/16/2020 paying in full prior to procedure $6329 plus around $90 for COVID testing. The procedure was far more painful then it was advertised. I was the last patient, it seemed to me that the doctor was in a hurry to go home. Since I work in medical field, I am not allowed to use narcotic pain killers. I had no choose but to use over counter meds which were totally useless. Because of terrible pain, I had to miss my work days loosing around another $4000.
My first follow up appointment was very surprising because the initial post procedure assessment was done by some unknown nurse with unknown set of skills. I told her that such an approach is not right and I asked if doctor will see me. Well, I left without seeing a doctor. My next appointment I had to reschedule because I refused to be seen by a nurse, I wanted a doctor to assess me. On my third try, I finally got an appointment with a doctor. I pointed out that even with my swelling I did not see any difference, was told to wait. Well, it is an April and there is Zero results. I got "stubbing looking" scars so I won't dare to wear two piece swim suit, and I still have numbness, pain and occasional pins to sides of my back. I didn't come to my March appointment, what the point? I was complaining about above mentioned issues during the last 2 appointments and was totally ignored. I posted review on a google and after that I got a phone call back. The person over the phone talked to me like maybe I am a beggar and told me "if you want, I can.. oh.. give you $2000 back.. come and let us maybe redo a procedure". Dear lord, after all lost money and current back problems which keeps me frequently in bed with a heating pad, the person keep ignoring completely everything. I told her that I am not coming back, 6 month was plenty waste of my time. I am so angry because I paid a lot of money for nothing, and now dealing with pain and spouse comments about my scars. The company send me email pretty much repeating the same words. I wrote them back saying that I want my full refund back, contact/list of business where I can remove my scars, and if treatment will be required for my pain, Sonobello will pay, if such a need arise. Well, and again they just totally ignored me, even more, I was told that it is my fault because I didn't show up for my March appointment so doctor was unable to see me! I could not catch a guy for months, I told multiple times that I have zero effects and not willing to go through the same painful procedure followed by lost work days. I feel angry and frustrated, I frequently have to call to work to take a "sick time" for my pain. I wasted a huge amount of money just to be insulted in the end.

Desired outcome: Full refund of lost money, scars removal, pain treatment.

Sono Bello Consultation lack of information/facts

The Consultant 'glossed over' the use of the compression garment I needed to use after my stomach procedure. After asking more details, she described it as no big deal. She said, that, after 10 days an additional compression garment would be mailed to me. NO INFORMATION ON THAT GARMENT AT ALL! After my pre-op with the surgeon, I was given a bag with some things in it that were not explained at the time. When I got home, I read all about the Additional Compression Garment. It is a full body suit with straps around your shoulders and stretches down to your knees! You have to wear this 24/7 for 4-6 weeks, then 12 hours/day for THREE MONTHS. Talk about MISREPRESENTATION? You unzip the crotch area to urinate and can ONLY take it off for a bowel movement or to shower. No information as to when/how to wash this thing. Needless to say, I cancelled my surgery. BEWARE OF NOT HAVING ALL THE FACTS!

Sono Bello Liposuction nightmare at the Linthicum, MD

I had liposuction of my upper, lower sides and back areas at Sonobello's Linthicum, MD location March 17, 2021. The first issue was Kristen scheduled my pre-op the day before my procedure. According to the website, the pre-op is scheduled 1 week before the procedure and the post-op is scheduled one week after the procedure. The problem with my pre-op scheduled the night before my procedure is I was not able to start taking a medication for pain & swelling 2 days before my procedure as prescribed. Second, I was not able to fill my prescriptions in advance as instructed. Third, I was instructed to get certain items which I was unable to get because my pre-op appointment was scheduled the night before my procedure. I waited 2 hours to be seen. When I finally left the facility, it was 9pm. I had to be back the very next morning at 6:45am for my procedure.

During my procedure, I felt sharp pain in my abdomen area. I continuously felt sharp pain FOR THE ENTIRE abdomen area! It felt like I was continuously stabbed with a knife over and over. I was screaming because of the intense pain. I never felt pain like that IN MY LIFE! I believe I was not properly numbed with the localized meds. One doctor was training another doctor so I'm not sure if something went wrong because of the double task of teaching and conducting an activity. The nurse said no one feels pain just vibration, so what i felt was unusual. When my sides and back were done, I felt ONLY the vibration and at that point I could have fallen asleep because it wasn't painful AT ALL! At the end, the doctor wanted to go back to my abdomen area when he went back to the stomach area, I yelled out because I felt that stabbing pain. During my procedure, my blood pressure went extremely high on the monitor, and I have a low blood pressure 110/70. I kept looking at the monitor wondering of I was going to have a heart attack because of the stress my body was under from the pain. All I kept thinking about was now I know what ground beef feels like because my abdomen felt like ground beef.

I felt that I did my part as a client/consumer by following all instructions, but I believe the doctors made a mistake either in calculating how much numbing meds to give me or where the meds are supposed to be injected. That experience was traumatizing and I have a very high tolerance for pain.

Desired outcome: Not sure because he was not able to fully treat my abdomen area because of intense pain.

Sono Bello Refund policy

I prepaid for trusculpt body contouring to receive a discount. I find myself in urgent need of oral surgery, but no funds for it as I paid sono bello $8, 764. I understood $1995 was not refundable at my free consultation but not that I would lose the entire amount should I cancel the procedure. I split the cost between care credit and my visa cards and balances are maxed out.

Now I find myself with no way to pay for expensive dental work and needed surgery. Why would they not allow for emergency circumstances to arise which take precedence over a cosmetic surgery if I understood a deposit of $1995 was nonrefundable?

I am 71 years old on social security so I have a fixed income.

Desired outcome: Refund of $6897

Sono Bello My 2 procedures were only partially done and they refuse to give me a refund.

I signed a contract for almost $11, 000 for two procedures I did not receive the what I paid for (November 2019) with the Denver location. I original consultation was with a women who was not even a doctor who gave me totally inaccurate information. She said the the my what I purchased would have to be done in two phases which was my abdomen lower and upper and my down time would be 3 day at maximum. My down time I had to take a week off and wasn't able to fully do my job for 2 weeks. My first procedure was done in January 2020 was very very painful nothing like the consultant stated minimal pain and down time. The doctor who preformed the procedure didn't even do the upper abdomen of course made a follow up but unfortunately my son passed away the day my appointed was scheduled February 4th 2020 called for another follow up but the doctor who performed the procedure had left the this particular location. They said they would have to get another doctor approved to take over my procedure with would take up to a month then Covid hit! Of course as everything else because of Covid no one answers the phone if they do no one returns your call. I finally get a call back in May from someone who said that they just open the office back up and would do a follow up. At this point I mentioned the procedure of my abdomen not being completed they told me that I would have to wait 6 months to see the complete result. At this point my second procedure was performed my back waist and bra area this was done in June 2020 the procedure was not as painful but still another week off work. The back procedure was not complete the doctor did not do the bra area. I made a follow up appointment he stated that he didn't think I needed it because now it looks mainly like skin. I then asked him about my top abdomen and stated he wasn't sure why the previous doctor does not do the top abdomen. This doctor said he would do the procedure which was approved on the abdomen went to front desk to make an appointment. My stomach is so uneven how could they possibly leave it as that? As I went to make appointment they told me that I would need to get a covid test that I would have to make it with my physician or they could do it and it would be $90.00. I said I work with [protected] members a day I don't have it and I don't need it I get screened at work everyday. I totally get the fact the safety of the staff but what about the fact I paid $11, 000 for a procedure that was never completed to my satisfaction. Now their procedure has changed by taking the covid test before they would do anything. I mentioned to them when I had the procedure in June we were at the height of the pandemic not I have to continue to go by their changes and they would pay for the test but there is no way there would be a refund. I mentioned to the assistant manager this was not to my satisfaction because 2 not 1 but 2 procedures were not completed. She said that they are trying to work with me on getting the abdomen procedure but I need to get the test. I mentioned to her that was not on my contract besides regardless of what the doctor decides if it is just skin they is bra fat and I completely paid for the procedure that was never completed. I have called consistently trying to get ahold of the Corporate office no return call. Called again and again they last call they did was send me back to the Denver office. Spoke to a nurse who told me that there is a doctor coming back from vacation on September 28th and she would see if he would do the procedure and give me a call back. Well guess what she never called, I called the office yesterday 10/01/20 and no one is aware of any phone call to that effect with me. Seriously who can make this up? I WANT A FULL REFUND, I stated to the office that I wanted my records they have and if nothing is done I will pursue this further. Whoever reads this Sonobello is a scam they are misleading, and a very poor run company!

What is the status on my complaint? It has been 23 days and have not heard a word from Sonobello unfortunately same response as the Englewood office -- no response. What kind of business do you really run take people's money don't give the service they pay for then ignore them?

Thank you for posting this. I was about to schedule a consult but thought I better check for records of it being a scam. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. You just saved me a bundle. Sorry for your experience though. Hope you get it resolved.

Sono Bello Refund

I went to have a consultation June 2020. I wanted to have my sides and my stomach done lower and upper. They said they could do it and that I would have to put a 500 deposit and then pay another 1400 before surgery. Total cost was 9000. They also said that I would be able to go back to work with in 2 days. Have my procedure done on Friday and go bk to work on Monday. Then I go for my preop and I met with the nurse and surgeon they took my pictures. When I spoke to my surgeon she said Dr. Allen that is in Raleigh NC told me a completely different situation. I would be out of work for atleast a week, the areas that I needed and wanted done was not what I was told in my initial visit. they told me the work that I need done I would have to have lose weight. now I am out of 2000 and well no one will answer my calls answer my email or text messages. I now have resulted back to the back to dispute this. I am a single mom and don't have money just to throw away. Please help and someone give me some input. I am willing to even form agroup and get a lawyer with whom ever to fight this company. Money is hard to come by and the ones that got their surgeries and got butchered I am very sorry for that. We can over come this and wim=n this fight if we all stand together. I just want my money back so I can do what I need to do.

Sono Bello "lipo", service, policies, no communication

Not even knowing where to start -
The beginning was wonderful - They treat you fabulous, follow up calls, great communication, and tell you how great you're going to look and feel after everything... WRONG! I had my surgery in December of 2019. During surgery, it hurt like hell when I was told prior that I'd feel nothing. I had my lower abdomen done and behind my arms/back... I used to love wearing tank tops and fitted clothing as I wasn't big, to begin with. However, getting married, you always want to look your best and I had "bra bulging" my whole life.
I get it done... and long story short, I look worse - I refuse to wear a yank top of any sort. I went back during the follow-up, and I was told that my stomach, arms, back were still swollen and needed to wait. 2nd appointment weeks later -
They agreed I needed to have arms redone as they were worse than when I went in and one was bigger than the other. Then I was told that my abdominal area is still swollen and needed to wait. Then the doctor says, "well you were hurting a lot during surgery so I couldn't do anymore."
Ummm... I was told I wouldn't feel anything -
But whatever - everyone has different pain tolerance.
fine we will reschedule my arms/back and he would also "fix the scars because I could have done better than that and it looks bad."
However, I would wait for the next visit to see about the abdomen after giving swelling some more time.
Unfortunately, Covid-19 hit. I was rescheduled and then they canceled twice stating that they were waiting to open following guidelines. Great, I get it... Someone was going to call "as soon as we know and get the go-ahead to re-open, so we can schedule you."
I waited... and we also pushed out our wedding...
6 weeks later and places opened almost 3 weeks ago... I called yesterday 6/16/2020.. they answered... Hi, are you doing procedures? The girl says yes... as I explained I was calling to schedule my re-do... She stops to stay "we are not doing any re-do appointments. Only new patients." I'm sorry... what?!
You mean you push people like me off with a timeline and who came in initially 6 Months ago, to take "new patients" first?!
So take $6500.00 and $2, 000 of which was a deposit straight forward...
to tell me now that new patients are your priority?
And blame it on Covid-19?
I pushed my wedding back - and IF I had correspondence, I would have tried to push out further.
I am NOT AT ALL confident in my dress.
I have been through anxiety, anguish, and stress over this.
I had no correspondence to even say they were open.
I am depressed with the way I look and NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
I could've gone to a doctor an hour and half away for the same price, under anesthesia and a guarantee to fix areas.
Disgusted. Sono Bello is NOT a place to get this done at.
Apparently they don't do refunds either -
But I'm more than welcome to schedule my Venus appointments - Even though that is supposed to be AFTER the surgery and things are good to go.
Annoyed, Upset, Aggravated, and just plain SAD.
Do yourself a favor people - go somewhere you can do a 360 lipo where they also put you completely out. Do Not go to Sono Bello or anywhere like it... Consider it a botch shop where they overcharge to make you worse than when you started.
Austin, TX especially

Sono Bello Refund

I went in for a consultation for my chest and they said they could do it two days later. It's something that bothered me for awhile so I agreed and payed 3, 500. I felt forced to during the whole consult. I canceled that same day but the lady's saying she can't refund me. I just want a refund. If there's a fee that's fine but i'm not going through with the procedure. Even after talking to the lady she's still forcing me to do it and that she can't give me anything back. Please help.

BTW, for anyone reading, DO NOT ALLOW SURGERY ON YOURSELF VEFORE YOU HAVE GOTTEN MEDICAL CLEARNESS FROM YOUR OWN DOCTORS. Pending your state laws, there are definite rules to the TIMELINES meaning if you read your contract the timelines and qualifications MUST be in accordance with your state laws and legislation timelines. If not, do not sign such a contract.
Get medical clearness first from your doctor. Reason is plastic crooked surgeons will NOT refund you even if they have violated the law. They allow greed to disregard laws and your SAFETY.
Many patients die or are injured permanently due to underlying conditions plastic surgeons FAILED to reveal to you. Many KNOWINGLY will perform surgery on you KNOWING you are are not medically cleared, have high blood pressure or some other disease. Trust me, they WILL kill you for greed. GET MEDICALLY CLEARED before you sign a contract and "trust" the plastic surgeon to be all about you. THEY ARE NOT. They are all about money. I am fighting a case for a client right now in California for the very same thing. These surgeons have been charged no less than FIVE times, four times by the medical BOARD and twice privately. They have caused TWO deaths by not medically clearing patients or rather IGNORING high blood pressure and other underlying conditions. Each time they SETTLED and provisioned the cases to be "sealed". The case I have does not involve death it involves TORT and refusal to refund a patient not medically cleared. These surgeons somehow believe they are above the law in California that governs their services. Plastic surgeons are NOT concerned for your safety, their main concern is MONEY. So be afraid and trust only your OWN doctors before you commit to surgery. Also GOOGLE plastic surgeons before you sign on and do it diligently as they have web masters that hide their wrong doings from being posted online. Ask them questions...how many patients have died that received surgery here? Were their any injured? How many lawsuits have you had thus far and how long ago was the last one?. Should they get nervous and refuse to service you, then you know. Should they deny then you know you have made a record of it in case you need to file a suit. Also inform your family/ friends of your interactions with the surgeon and what was discussed. Witnesses are always good. Take a friend along if you can and allow the friend to be present during discussions about your procedure. I know, it's a shame you have to go to those lengths, all because we live in a world of greed.

Do you have a written agreement? If so the only thing that can get you out of it is perhaps your state's right to rescission law whereby you have 3 days or more to rescind. If not, the other thing that would get you out is if you can not be medically cleared due to medical problems. It seems rather strange that they would schedule a procedure that quick (2 days). Most plastic surgeons are also medical doctors and that does not mean they would be HONEST in your medical clearness. They are very crooked. Many patients have died due to this and states are slow to compose legislation to prevent it. In my opinion it is DETRIMENTAL that plastic surgeons NOT be allowed to medically clear patients. It should be done by a third party specialist or your doctor. Getting back to this, find out what the states legislation on rescinding contracts are and check your copy for the date you signed it and the date you called them to cancel. TWO days seems very suspicious to me. Then again, plastic surgeons wants to make MONEY and their greed most often cancels their professionalism and obligation to patient safety.

Sono Bello Sono Bello painful, unchanging procedure

I paid over $11, 000 for a painful, unchanging procedure. They withdrew money from my account without my consent. The doctor came in and out of the procedure room. I was in and out of consciousness. I screamed when I was awake. When I woke up last the nurse was trying to put on my clothes. I was clumsily bandaged and was placed into a wheelchair, so my husband could take be to the car out the back way. They lied from the beginning about there being no pain an could go back to work in two days. I could barely walk for a week. I was off work for over 3-weeks and was still in pain when I went back. The doctor told me to put on some lips and look pretty for my husband. The infection was terrible, the scar is an ugly reminder. The procedure was the most painfulI ever experienced. They gave me a pill that did not numb the pain what so ever. The fat never went anywhere. I was scammed.

Sono Bello Liposuction

In my initial consultation i wasn't sure about doin this. Honestly, I thought they were like cool sculpting and didn't know they only did lipo until the woman in the consultation told me. She told me that they remove the fat in one visit and that there is minimal pain and the results are immediate. I asked how much fat would be removed and was told 80% and then was told "so anywhere you can pinch fat, you won't be able to" and then she pinched her own back and said "see look I can't pinch any fat." She had it done herself according to her and showed me a picture of her before and after photos in their book. I told her I was concerned with my abdominal area and specifically the part just above the belly button and pointed it out to her. She said it won't be a problem so I went ahead and agreed to it. In my consultation with the doc he told me that I may have some sagging skin on my lower abdomen and recommended having it excised which I agreed to. No one ever said anything about possibly having excess or sagging skin in any other area at any time. So I was having upper and lower abdominal area, back, waist, and bra roll done. Had surgery and they removed between 5-6 pounds of fat (they could have easily done 10 pounds). I had my one month and the nurse mentioned that I was still swollen and that my 3 month appt would be "my happy appointment" and I said "ok that's a relief because I don't see much of a difference compared to the cost." (10k). I go for my 3 month. Not much of a difference aside from the weight I had lost on my own through diet and exercise. I still had a ton of fat in areas that I had been told I would not be able to pinch any fat. I told the same nurse that I was not happy with the results and was told that she would write it down but that I still had scar tissue so it would be too soon for them to do a "satisfaction" procedure and that we could talk more about it at my 6 month check up. I go for my 6 month. Different nurse because the one I had was out on maternity leave. I again tell the nurse I'm not happy and she agrees to have my doc come in so I can talk to him about it. He comes in and has me show him the problem areas. I show him my abdominal area and he tells me that he thinks the upper part of it is "mainly just skin" but that there might be a little fat left and agreed that there was more fat left on the right side of my lower abdomen than the left and that there was an obvious bulge on the right side. The he tells me that he was "generous" in my waist area and went lower than he should have in the procedure which was obvious to me that he was saying that to make me feel guilty about complaining about my results. I then show him an obvious indent(which is a deformity) on the left hip and then he tells me that he didn't even do the hip area so it must've been there. ( keep in mind he had just told me that he went lower than he should have in my waist. Um hello that could be why there's an indent on my hip) I tell him no it wasn't there and it's an obvious deformity and he starts arguing about it so I just let it go because I was more concerned about my abdominal area and just hoped the indent on my hip would go away once I got down to my goal weight which was 20 more pounds. I didn't mention my back area at this point either because of the same concern and worried he was going to try to get out of redoing it altogether. He eventually agreed to take some more fat out of the upper and lower part of my abdomen. Again, he never said there was any problem or excess/ saggy skin in any area other than the upper abdomen just above my belly button. This was at the end of November. So I went out to reception to schedule the "satisfaction" surgery and was told that my doctor was now working in 3 different facilities( Cincinnati, Columbus, and Nashville) and that they wouldn't have his schedule for cincinnati for the new year until around the 2nd week of January. They said he may have an appt on December 16 but I could not do that since I was out of vacation time at my work until the new year. They said they would call by the second week of January to schedule my surgery once they have his schedule. By January 15th they have not called me so I call to check in and they tell me they still don't have his schedule. I call back in February and I'm then told that he no longer works out of Cincinnati and that I will either have to try to schedule the surgery out of Columbus or apply to have a new doctor which could take 3 more weeks. So I decided to call Columbus which is a 3 hr round trip to schedule it so I don't have to wait so long. I call them and am told that they have to have my file transferred from Cinci to Columbus and that once that's done they will call to schedule my surgery. So needless to say I'm upset at this point after I hung up with them. I feel like I'm just getting the run around and so I try to call the corporate office to complain. Well when you call the "corporate" office it just connects you with Sonobellos customer service. So I gave them the short version of this and told them I was not happy and that I wanted someone to call me. So instead of them lodging a complaint with corporate they just contact the Cincinnati office who then in turn calls me and basically tells me that I can get a change of doctor quickly so I don't have to wait 3 weeks and that they are sorry I was told that and that it must've been just a miscommunication. So I agree to applying for a change of doctor which they did within a few days so they called and scheduled my "pre-op" with my new doctor which I scheduled for about a week and a half later.
That appointment was today. My new doc came into the room and said that he was told that there were some things I was not happy with and asked what they were. So I told him about my abdominal area(upper and lower) and I also mentioned about my back and bra roll which I had also noticed there was a ton of fat left. He then proceeded to pick apart all of the areas and told me that not only the fat in my upper abdominal area is "mainly just skin" but that also the fat in my back is mainly just skin and that if he were to go in there and try to remove it it could just make it worse because it is just skin and scar tissue. (Remember I was told be the nurse at my 3 month that they wouldn't schedule a redo because I still have scar tissue. So that suggests to the patient that that scar tissue will go away at some point right?) Hmmm. Keep in mind that when I initially went in I weighed about 175 pounds. Not 375 pounds. I was never told by ANYONE that I had any loose skin or that I may have unfavorable results. The only thing I was told was with the initial doctor visit and that there might be loose skin on my lower abdomen which is why I agreed to the skin excision. So the doctor today refused to take any more fat out of my back and upper abdomen siting that I would not be "happy" with the result. Now my initial doctor did say on my previous appt that I may have some loose skin in the upper abdominal area if he went in and took more fat out which I understood and he agreed to do it. Now this doctor is flat out refusing to do it. That definitely is not a satisfaction guarantee like they claim when they take your money. In fact, it's fraud. I then tell him about my bra line area and he tells me that there is a front bra line and a back bra line and that the doctor obviously didn't do the "front" bra line area. Then he says that he considers the two area to be separate and that I will have to talk to administration to see if they will let him do it because "he can't do surgery for free". Are you kidding me? I then ask to speak to someone in administration and am told they are not there and that they will have one of them call me. I paid 10 thousand dollars and there is not much difference between before and after. I think the pictures bear that out. The pictures they show on tv and the ones they show you in their book when you go in for the free consultation are drastic. Nothing like the actual results. This company is committing fraud and they misrepresent their results through shady sales tactics, lies, and backtracking. I have tried loosing weight on my own and have succeeded but it hasn't mattered how skinny I was. I have always had that little pouch over my belly bottom and that was my main concern. And instead of telling me that they might not be able to get rid of it, they lied and said they could, took my 10 grand, and then said oh sorry that you weren't told this but it is just excess skin that we can't fix. Or, the doctor today is full of it when he says it's just excess skin to try to get out of redoing a procedure for which he wasn't the initial doctor. Either way, it's fraud.
Most people that go for this are not vain, they just want a little help. A little help to fix their problem areas and make them feel a little better about themselves. A little less self conscious. And they are lied to and misled by a greedy company that cares only for money. You should be ashamed of yourselves Sonobello!
I will be contacting an attorney.
For any person that is considering going to Sonobello, don't do it!

Sono Bello laser lipo

I live In the Hampton Roads area of VA and got laser lipo. The worst financial decision I've ever made . I look the same after my procedure . Only thing I got out of this procedure isn$6000 worth of debt, scars, and knots on my side . When I challenged them about not seeing results, the nurse reported it take 6 months for recovery ! If that's the case I would have never gotten the operation and just worked out harder . I'm embarrassed, upset, and feel betrayed by Sono Bello. I want to file a lawsuit but I don't know how to go about it .
Any advice ?
