My name is Lois Diaz, and I received a curly perm service at the SmartStyle salon located inside Walmart at 4400 13th Saint Cloud, FL, on Wednesday, 7/30/25. I paid $88 and followed all aftercare instructions carefully.
Unfortunately, the results were disappointing. The curls in the front of my hair straightened within the first day, and by the next morning, most of the front was completely limp while only the back retained some curl. I called SmartStyles on Thursday, 7/31/25 and they told me to lightly misted and apply mousse on my hair to reactivate the curls, but the front remained straight and unresponsive.
Due to the uneven and short-lived results, I do not wish to have the service redone at any SmartStyle location. I plan to have the perm corrected at a different salon and am requesting a refund for the original service.
Please let me know what steps I need to take to process this request. I can provide photos or additional details if needed.
