Sinclair Broadcast Group [SBG] review: Censoring free speech

Your company is being boycotted by millions of us. We are contacting your advertisers to let them know we won’t purchase their products. We won’t watch any of your stations. Shame on Sinclair for attacking and censoring free speech, which is the bedrock of our country and our constitution. It’s the most precious freedom we have in this country.

You are hypocrites. Did Sinclair or the FCC chairman condemn FoxNews hosts when they celebrated violence against Democrats or when they promoted the idea that homeless people should be executed? Nope. We get that Sinclair is conservative, so I guess conservative means that you are unAmerican, against the Constitution, and censor free speech. Got it. Jimmy Kimmel told the truth about Donald Trump and you don’t like it. He didn’t say anything insensitive and you know it. Otherwise Sinclair would be condemning the long list of insensitive remarks made by Donald Trump, including his calls for violence.

But most harmful is that Sinclair is allowing the Federal Government to control what is broadcast. You are conspiring with the FCC chairman to censor and silence free speech. Sinclair is setting a dangerous precedent for everyone in this country, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, even MAGA. Ted Cruz SLAMS Trump's weaponization of the FCC: "It is unbelievably dangerous for government to say, '"We're gonna take you off the air if we don't like what you're saying. We should denounce it."

So Congratulations, Sinclair has single-handedly emboldened an authoritarian Government. History will not be kind to your company. Shame on all of you. You have forever tarnished your reputation. Americans will respond with a nationwide boycott that will hurt Sinclair’s bottom line, guaranteed. Do you really think conservatives watch your programming? They are too busy watching FoxNews. MAGA can change the channel if they don’t like what Jimmy Kimmel says or if he makes jokes about the President. That is the First Amendment. The rest of us will stop watching your stations and boycott your advertisers until you reverse course and air Jimmy Kimmel Live. That is also the First Amendment.
