If your website matters to your business, stay far away from Simple Biz.

We hired them to build and maintain our website and paid monthly for ongoing SEO and support. Unfortunately, what we received was a generic template with copy-and-paste content, poor attention to detail, and no real SEO strategy. We had to constantly edit their work ourselves just to keep it presentable.

After realizing there was little to no SEO being done, we began hiring third-party providers to do what Simple Biz claimed they were handling. Still, we continued paying their monthly fee. Later, we were convinced by a rep to pay even more for a "stronger SEO presence." That’s when everything fell apart.

Our visibility tanked. After analysis reports, it was clear: our SEO rankings and online presence dropped significantly after Simple Biz “took over.” Years of hard work were undone.

When we decided to part ways and asked for our property and files — including backlinks we paid outside vendors for — they refused to release them to our new developer despite multiple requests. These were files we legally own. We now suspect some of that data was deleted or altered. We're investigating further, but the damage is already done: four years of work is gone, and we're starting over from scratch.

Their founder, Bob, is eager to sell you in the beginning — after that, he disappears. You're left dealing with disengaged contractors who clearly don’t care about your business or results.

This company cost us time, money, and our online foundation. Don’t make the same mistake.

Recommendation: Please don't make the same mistake we did.

That’s a digital mugging. They sold you a dream, delivered a dumpster fire, and locked the door behind them with your assets inside. Lawyer up and hit them with a demand letter for your property — anything tied to your domain or paid for externally is yours, full stop. Meanwhile, get your new dev to rebuild clean and never trust a vendor who hides behind sales talk and contractors. Burn that bridge and salt the earth.
