I purchased a car from the Walsh Auto Group, which includes Sierra Motors, in 2020. When I made the purchase, I also opted for a lifetime warranty, which I was told would cover comprehensive repairs at any Walsh location, free of charge. However, on 3/22/22, I had to take my car to Sierra Motors (a Walsh location) due to an issue with the turn signal and tail light. To my surprise, I was informed that the warranty did not cover this specific repair. I explained to the employee that I had the lifetime warranty, but they clarified that it did not include exterior lighting. The employee even acknowledged that there have been cases where salespeople have mistakenly misrepresented the terms of the lifetime warranty, leading customers to believe it covers comprehensive repairs when it does not.
