Shoppers Drug Mart review: kathy in the pharmacy

I went to the pharmacy looking for a product recommendation that I could take for a chest cold while pregnant. Kathy very confidently sold me a benylin expectorant where guaifenesin is the main ingredient. She could not be bothered to give me further information or answer further questions I had. I left feeling disheartened.
I went to another pharmacy to get a second opinion on the product where the pharmacist went out of her way to pull up product information. This information indicated that guaifenesin has been associated with inguinal hernias in newborns. I was beyond pissed that Kathy hadn't even mentioned this when I spoke to her. Further, when I went back to return the product and talk to Kathy her only explanation was that evidence for this was 'weak' to which I responded 'Don't you think I still should have been made aware of the risk!?'
It's clear that she had neither much respect for h r profession or her clients. Will never trust the pharmacy staff at this location again.
