I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra from SharafDG's website. The device was delivered in a sealed package so everything looked good at the moment of delivery. When I unboxed the phone though, the protection foil was already removed from the screen, the charging cable was loosely thrown in the box and I could clearly see fingerprints on the frame of the phone.
Suspecting that it's not a new phone, I contacted Samsung themselves to ask them if they can check if the phone was already used. They checked through the IMEI code and the confirmed my suspicions. The phone was activated one week before I even placed the order.
So in essence, they took a used phone, resealed it ,and sold it as a new phone, pocketing the money. What I don't understand is why would they even unbox a phone just to reseal it and sell it after one week. For all I know they could do it in order to install trackers or other things in the phone.
I will attach photos with the invoice and the chat with Samsung Customer Support so you can see the dates of purchase and when the phone was first activated.
Desired outcome: I would like to be given what I paid for, which is a new, untouched phone.
