Dear Sharaf DG Team,

I am writing to file a complaint against your salesperson Mr. Syed Akbar (Employee Code: 0004606182) at Mirdif City Centre branch for misleading me about a warranty purchase.

On 18th February 2024, when I bought my Apple Watch Ultra 2, Mr. Syed told me that if I purchased the 2-year DG Shield warranty for AED 350 (discounted from AED 550), it would cover my device for two full years from the date of purchase. Based on his assurance, I paid for it.

Recently, when I tried to claim the warranty after my watch screen broke, your staff informed me that the information I was given was false. I was clearly misled and sold a plan under false pretenses, which is unacceptable.

I request that Sharaf DG:

Honor the warranty as it was sold to me.
Investigate Mr. Syed’s actions and ensure this does not happen to others.

Please respond within 7 working days with a resolution, or I will escalate this matter to consumer protection authorities.
