Shane Co. gifts for my girls

I have 3 daughters and wanted to get them each a little token of affection from myself and their father. I went to Shane Co and very quickly found the perfect little ring to get each girl with their birthstone. The site was so easy to navigate through and ordering was a breeze. The rings arrived right away and the girls just loved them!

Shane Co. I bought my sapphire wedding ring from shane company

I bought my sapphire wedding ring from shane company and it was the best ring ever. My friends all love it and it was only around $4000 for a huge sapphire. I ordered just the gemstone alone online. It was certified and I had it appraised and it was the real deal. It would have cost me almost twice as much from other retail stores I was looking at.

Shane Co. I’m just trying to get my money back for the earrings I’ve ordered for my Mother as a Mother’s Day gift

I’m just trying to get my money back for the earrings I’ve ordered for my Mother as a Mother’s Day gift. They were of very low quality, especially considering the price. I’ve paid close to $3000 CAD for them and the clasp is barely working. My Mom is very apprehensive to wear them because she thinks they would fall down. They have a 60 day refund policy and I have contacted them basically right away, so we are well within the 60 day window period. The issue is that they are not being responsive to my numerous emails I’m sending them requesting proper instructions on how to return the item and get my money back.

Shane Co. Shane Co.: A Must-Visit for Quality Jewelry at Affordable Prices

Shane Co. is a great place to shop for jewelry. They have a wide selection of rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. I have bought several pieces from them and have been happy with all of them. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable about the products and can answer any questions you may have. The store is clean and well-organized. They also offer financing options, which is helpful if you want to make a big purchase. Overall, I would recommend Shane Co. to anyone looking for beautiful jewelry at a reasonable price.

Shane Co. Disorganized Experience: Review of Shane Co. Office in Centennial, CO

I called up the Shane Co. office on Arapahoe Road in Centennial Colorado and boy was it tough to get a straight answer. The folks there seemed pretty disorganized, if you ask me. It was like they didn't know what they were doing half the time. But hey, maybe they were just having an off day. Who knows? All I know is that I had a hard time getting the information I needed.

Shane Co. Disappointing Customer Service and Long Wait Times at Shane Co

Me and my hubby went to Shane Co. to get our rings and we've been going there for service too. But let me tell you, the customer service is not good and the time it takes to get our rings back is just too long! It's a real bummer because we really like the rings we got from there.

Shane Co. Disappointing Diamond Reset at Shane Co.: Avoid at All Costs!

So, I recently had my diamond reset at Shane Co. and let me tell you, I was so excited to get it back. But when I finally did, I was so disappointed. The ring looks like a gum ball ring now! It's shorter and doesn't look as pretty as it used to. I loved my diamond and setting before, but now I hate it. I'm so mad! I really don't recommend this place at all. Avoid it at all costs!

Shane Co. Wedding Day Disaster: Store Fails to Deliver Ring on Time

This store really messed up my wedding day. I had to get married without my real ring because they couldn't get it to me on time. They gave me a temporary ring, but it just wasn't the same. I waited for 12 weeks or more for my ring, even though they said it would only take 6-8 weeks. I was really let down. We ended up going to Jared and they helped me out right away.

I took my wife's wedding ring in for cleaning. The person that helped us drew a picture of any flaws in the diamond. There were two small dots he drew on a picture. Unable to see with the naked eye. When we went to pick it up, my wife immediately said "this is not my diamond". We complained and they told us that they just need to run in through the clean...

Shane Co. Fraudulent Sales Tactics

Shane Co is NOT your friend in the diamond business. I was the victim of deceitful sales tactics at the hands of Shane Co. employees and management. I purchased an engagement ring on March 12 of 2013. The ring consists of three diamonds at a total weight of 2.08 CTS. When considering this and another ring, I was told that because the diamonds were already in a setting that I would not be able to return the ring for a refund. Of course, at the time, this didn't bother me thinking I would never need to return the ring. As often happens, the engagement didn't work out so I am now trying to sell the ring. During this process, I have had the ring appraised and am told that the main diamond has a flaw/crack. This was NOT revealed to me during the purchase. Had I known that a ring with a retail value of $7500.00 is actually worth less than$1400.00 wholesale, I never would have made this purchase. Even when I took the ring back to the Shane Co store where it was purchased, they refused to buy the ring back and would only accept and upgrade trade. Again, at this time, they did not reveal the flaw but cited policy. Do not trust what the sales person tells you at Shane Co. Commissioned or not, I was not treated with honesty and it has cost me thousands of dollars to learn this lesson.

SHANE CO IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT YOUR FRIEND IN THE DIAMOND BUSINESS.

Shane Co. ruined my ring - twice!

We purchased my wedding set (Item Number [protected]) from Shane Company in August, 2012. We had our flawless white sapphire set into the engagement ring. Shane Company called us just after Labor Day and apologized but they scratched my center stone. Shane Company gave us a $700 credit toward our wedding set for the replacement of the stone. In November we finally found a comparable replacement stone that Shane Company agreed to set it at no cost. In August 2013, we dropped our my engagement and wedding rings to be soldered together, the salesman clearly notated that there were no visible scratches on my center stone (he was the one that sold us the set, and knew of the previous issues with the damage to my stone). When we picked up my set, and viewed it for any damage, it was recognized by the sales staff and the manager they had once again scratched my center stone. I talked to the manager when I picked up my ring and told her that they had once again damaged my stone. She assured me that she would personally take care of this matter, even if it meant refunding us the purchase price of the wedding set. She went and talked to the jeweler who soldered the rings, and told us she would get back with us in a few days. The following Wednesday, the manager called me and stated that since they took $700 off the ring set; they said they wouldn't maintain the center stone. I told the manager that I was not asking them to maintain the stone, but asking them to be held responsible for damaging my wedding ring. The manager then stated that on the envelope that contained my wedding ring, held them harmless against any damage they cause to the ring and she would send me a letter stating that they will not make it right with us for damaging my ring, the letter never came. I called the store again to speak with the manager about the letter, and received a phone call back from another manager. The other manager stated that we have received everything that Shane Company is willing to give us, they will not put it in writing. We've not received anything from either manager, or Shane Company, The other manager further stated that Shane Company will have nothing further to do with my center stone and will not take any action in righting their wrong.

Hello to you I read your post here, and I am an Atlanta retail jeweler. As well as an online personal jeweler, who educates and informs the online jewelry buying public about jewelry and gemstones.

I will say to you that in the future when it comes to getting your ring sized or anything that involves leaving your engagement rings. ALWAYS ask to have your center stone REMOVED and given to you. Then once work is done on your ring, you can bring your center stone back, for them to reset it for you.

This VERY IMPORTANT for EVERY woman to do when it comes to your engagement rings, that have any kind of center stone you feel you want to protect.

Should you like to contact me James The Jeweler you can do so at: jamesthejeweler@yahoo.com or by phone at [protected].

Shane Co. damaged wedding ring while in their possession!

Shane Company has knowingly ruined my center stone for the SECOND time and refuses to make it right, but now offering to let me return my wedding set for a full refund, but won't do anything about compensating me for the loss of my center stone.

When we picked up my set, and viewed it for any damage, it was recognized by the sales staff and Lori Hagins (the manager) they once again scratched my center stone. I talked to Lori when I picked up my ring and told her that they had once again damaged my stone. I called the store again to speak with Lori about the letter, and received a phone call back from Ron Robbins. Ron stated that we have received everything that Shane Company is willing to give us, they will not put it in writing. We've not received anything from Lori, or Shane Company, Ron further stated that Shane Company will have nothing further to do with my center stone and will not take any action in righting their wrong.
Whatever you do, do NOT go to Shane Company, let alone allow them to service your jewelry. They will damage it, they will not make it right, and they will force you to choose between getting your jewelry repaird (covered under their plan) by signing a waiver, or going without the repair and risk more damage to your sacred jewlery.

Shane Co. Chipped diamond replacement

I noticed one of the prongs on my diamond had broken off for the second time in a year. I dropped my ring off back at the ShaneCo. for repair. They called to inform me that my diamond had a small chip in it, but they would replace it for a like diamond for free as part of the warranty if I'd like. I don't believe my diamond was chipped prior to taking it in as it was not mentioned when they inspected it the day I left it for repair. Regardless, they said they would replace it.
My husband and I decided that this might be a good time to upgrade my diamond so they showed us several in a larger size. We were greatly disappointed in the clarity of some of the higher quality diamonds (could see inclusions with our eyes on a VS2). The associate told us that it was because the GIA standards have loosened up a bit since we purchased my diamond 13 years ago and that my diamond would have a higher clarity today. Of course, they wouldn't upgrade my diamond classifications. He said not to worry because the ShaneCo would replace it for one that looked like mine, not necessarily with what the paperwork stated. So, we decided to just replace it with an equivalent diamond. I will not be giving them any additional business, will not recommend them to anyone, and will not accept a diamond that I am not happy with!
They showed me 3 diamonds that they said were comparable (same specifications) but they were not. They had black specks and inclusions that were very visible to the naked eye. I can't believe that in the entire store, they only have 3 diamonds comparable to mine (all of which actually looked worse!) So they requested three additional diamonds from other stores for me to look at. She called to say they have better clarity than the ones she previously showed me but they had to go down in color to get a higher clarity grade. It appears that they are only interested in replacing my diamond with one at the equivalent expense and not one that is truly equivalent to mine! Although the associate has been very polite, I am VERY disappointed in the way they do business.

Horrible experience trying to upgrade my wedding ring. Woulod never recommend this jeweler. Very unhappy. Now I am stuck with a ring I do not even like or want. They refused to refund me my money. My only option was to spend more money to upgrade. Don't go to Shane Co.

Shane Co. Avoid

Terrible experience, PLEASE do not let them work on your jewelry. I took my wedding band in just to have a small diamond re-fastened. When I picked it up, they had polished out the brushed finish that was on my band. I returned, not once, but three times and they still can’t put something as simple as a brushed finish back on the band. To make matters worse, the band is now warped. I will now take it to a jeweler and after paying for it, hopefully have my one year old wedding band back to how it was in the first place.

Shane Co. Ignored, abandoned, and insulted

I am writing this message almost in disbelief. My partner and I went to Shane Co, KS this weekend. The store was pretty busy when we walked in, so we were patiently waiting for someone to approach us. When no one seemed interested, we walked closer to another couple that was being helped just to make ourselves more visible. However, we were passed over again for a could BEHIND us. At this point, I was wondering if we were invisible. Finally, the sales attendant acknowledged us and said that hopefully someone would be with us soon, but if not, she would help us as soon as she was done with her couple. Fair enough. So we looked, and we waited, and we waited some more. Finally Keith approached us. I said we needed to look at engagement rings. He asked if the guys had sent us out looking for rings. I was confused at first but then realized he was missing the point. I pointed to my girlfriend/partner and said, "No, we are together." He said, "Oh OK." After a few minutes goes by, he tried again. Looking at my girlfriend, he said, "So are you going to come back with him later to get her ring?" Implying that she was just with me as a friend and she would return with my boyfriend to get my ring. At this point I was really confused. How could you have missed that twice already? So I made it a little more obvious. I grabbed my girlfriend around the waist and pointed between us several times and said, "No. WE are T O G E T H E R." At this point, he was embarrassed and apologized.

However, shortly after that, he asked a couple behind us if they had been helped. They said no and he told us to "Wait just one second. I'm going to pop over here for a minute." At this point, we had three rings sitting out in front of us and I was really hoping to look at more. But we waited patiently. I assumed he would get them set up somewhere briefly and return to help us. He did return after a few minutes and I started to say something about one of the rings we he but me off in mid-sentence with, "Yeah, wait just one minute. I'm just gonna pop over here for a minute." At this point, I was done. I thought the whole experience at this point had been completely rude and unfriendly. We wanted to leave, but remember, we were stuck with three rings sitting in front of us that we didn't want to be liable for. So we waited. And waited. We he didn't return after 5 minutes (the second time he left us), I finally had to interrupt a couple beside us and get their sales associate's attention. I pushed the rings toward her and said, "I'm going to leave these with you and we're going to go." She looked worried but said, "OK." As we were walking out, we noticed Keith, supposedly our sales associate, actively pulling rings out of the case for another couple. They already had several out. It was obvious he was not coming back to us quickly. He literally left us to start helping someone else!

I was very offended, appalled, and disappointed. I had heard so many great commercials about this place and I was really looking forward to visiting the store. But I have never been treated so rudely in a jewelry store before. I don't know if it's because we are gay and they just couldn't fathom that possibility, or if they didn't think we were worth their precious time, or if they randomly could treat any customer this badly. One thing I do know, I will not be back. And I will share my story with friends and family!

Shane Co. Awful Service - wedding band

My wife and I went to Shane Company in the Denver area to select a 2 karat diamond and ring setting.

After picking out the setting, the distracted and apathetic manager who showed us diamonds kept us standing up for over 2 hours, showing us a few diamonds that were not suitable and helping others while leaving us waiting for 30 minutes at a time.

We finally left in disgust and bought a beautiful diamond and setting at a competitor.

Just awful service and selection.

Shane Co. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in my life

I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in my life. My husband and I went into the store in Cool Springs, Tn where we were met by several sales associates. I let my husband and the sales person talk me into putting a ring on layaway so that I could bring my diamond back at a later date to be mounted into the ring. I was told more than five different times that at anytime within a month I could call back to the store and ask for a complete refund on the layaway if I decide not to purchase the ring. I called back in less than 2 weeks and was told that I would not be able to get my money back. The company had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and would not be handing out money only merchandise credits. One of the reasons we went into the store was due to the fact that Shane Co. advertise that they pay for everything they buy, they owe no one. This is not true they owe their customers the same respect and honesty that they portray. They also should honor their policies.I will never buy from this company again.

Shane Co. They will never get business from us again

My wife and I went to The Shane Company ("Shane Co.") to purchase wedding bands three weeks before our wedding because our previous vendor fell through. They were very helpful during our initial visit. We found the rings that we wanted, but they had to be special ordered in our size and would arrive in 6-8 weeks. In the mean time, they gave us loaner rings to use for our ceremony. Three weeks later, on our wedding date, I received a phone call asking to confirm the order. I wasn't able to get back to them until a week later. When I did clarify the order, they indicated that it would be another 6-8 weeks until the rings came in. A week after that, I received another message asking to confirm the order. Due to issues with my cell phone, I wasn't able to get back to them and they got one of the rings in a week later. When we went in, we discovered that they ordered the wrong ring, despite the fact that we confirmed it once during our initial visit and again over the phone. It will be another 6-8 weeks (or 1-2 months, which they said was somehow shorter) before the correct ring comes in. For all of our trouble, they gave us a $20 gift card to a local gas station. Not really what I would call incentive for continuing to do business with them. We have no confidence that they will get the order right this time or if my wife's ring will be correct when it comes in. If we find comparable wedding bands elsewhere that we can get in a reasonable amount of time, the rings will be returned and they will never get business from us again.

Shane Co. Made me very upset with their lies

Brought my solitare diamond setting into the store. I picked out a new setting. The employee then called my 1.2 round diamond "common". Unfortunatly The Shane Co had the setting that I wanted. They took my ring to a room and 30 minutes later came out with the diamond out of the setting and stated they could not re set because my diamondt had a chip in it. I was very upset, the manager came over and said that they would set it. I should have insisted that they give me the new setting for free. I was way too nice. When I look at my ring I just have bad memories. My diamond did not have a chip in it. The girls that took it back to the room to remove diamond chipped it when they pried the prongs open. I am still so upset.

I'm really sorry to hear that when you look at your ring, you have bad memories. That is absolutely the opposite effect we want you to have when you look at your ring. I'd really like to do what I can to help. Would you mind emailing me with a bit more details on the situation that you describe above and we'll see what we can do to help out? Shane Co. They're pushy, they ignore you regularly, they don't have a very good selection, and I, like others, left their store in tears

I know that Shane co claims to be the 'best in the jewelery business' and that their fifth c is 'customer service' but really, they're the worst non-commission based jewelry store I've been to. They're pushy, they ignore you regularly, they don't have a very good selection, and I, like others, left their store in tears. It was an awful experience.
