I purchased blackout roller shades from this company for my new construction windows and sent the measurements just as instructed on the website. The blinds were right at 2" narrower than the measurements I sent and so the fabric doesn't even cover the glass of the window. HUGE gaps on each side.
I selected the fit guarantee when ordering, but apparently, this only applies if you make a mistake measuring. I did not make a mistake measuring, they manufactured them incorrectly. The 90 day satisfaction guarantee DOES NOT EXIST even though it is plastered all over their website. I offered to return these shades if they would just make them to the size I ordered. They said they cannot because the head cassette they come it won't allow them to be made to the size of the window. One of their reps told me this was a manufacturing flaw. They can only offer to make me a different product at my expense. I filed a dispute with Capital One so they could protect my interest, however, they refused to settle the case in my favor, because I don't have proof of return for the blinds. I do have in writing from Select Blinds that they do not want the blinds back, and I cannot return them, and that I must get the refund from my financial institution. Capital One Still won't settle the case in my favor, they say I must talk to the Merchant. The Merchant says they can't talk to me because I filed a CC Dispute. It makes me wonder if Select Blinds and Capital One Savor card, have some other working relationship. Needless to say, I am left with several thousand dollars worth of roller shades that cannot be used and SELECT BLINDS DOES NOT HONOR THE FIT GUARANTEE if you measure correctly and they make them incorrectly. BUYER BEWARE. I would advise anyone reading this - to find another company to do business with.
Recommendation: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. WARRANTY and SATISFACTION GUARANTEE ARE NOT HONORED.
