I am extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency regarding the SeaWorld Annual Pass and its advertised "5 Free Guest Tickets" benefit. At the time of purchase, there was no clear indication that these guest tickets are not available all at once or immediately. The sales page simply states "5 free guest tickets" with no prominent disclosure that they are released in limited redemption windows throughout the year, nor that they expire if not claimed during those specific timeframes. This information was not made clear during the purchase process. It creates a false expectation that I would be able to use these guest tickets freely throughout the year, which is not the case. The confusing system of releasing them on a "rolling calendar basis" after purchase — without upfront dates — is deceptive and feels intentionally misleading. When I immediately called SeaWorld to request a refund or clarification — explaining the situation and my concern that my daughter-in-law would end up going to the park alone — I was flatly denied a refund. Even worse, the customer service representative laughed when I asked how this pass made sense for a family experience. Don't be deceived and conduct your due diligence thoroughly before purchasing so you don't end up having to pay for an annual pass that can only be enjoyed by 1 or 2 members of the family at any given time (if that).
