Sapphire Resorts review: This company is a sham.

On 5/7/2025, my wife and I stopped in Sedona, Arizona on a once in a lifetime vacation. We came across a kiosk, that had signs for Jeep tours and Helicopter tours. The helicopter tours seemed reasonable, but required attending a presentation.we were warned if we did not attend the presentation my credit card would be billed 1200.00 as the ride would be full price. We got the ride, still costed 350.00 but at least my wife got to see parts of Sedona we would have never been able to visit (I have severe COPD). At the presentation, Tanya presented this as not a Time share. She bragged about rates of 299.00 a week for Sapphire resorts around the country. Later at the fable table, I was given a military discount(I am not a veteran) and asked if my intention was to just go home and wait to die. Along with my discount, Tanya sweetened the deal by offering us a 12 day Hawaii expense paid Vacation. My wife protested using my health as an excuse. I don't really understand how,
but we found ourselves sitting at a desk initialing papers on a computer screen. We were told this is the industry standard, and we could download and print off when we got home. We were 2000 miles from home and my computer. We were about 8 days into a month-long trip.
I was shocked when I got home and downloaded the contract! My electronic signature/initials appear on some pretty ridiculous clauses. I signed giving them permission to access my Bank account at their discretion? I signed agreeing they could levy astronomical assessment fees? (never discussed)I don't think we are stupid, but if I signed this junk, I must be! I tried a couple times to call the number they gave us, a couple of times while on vacation but, couldn't get a human to talk to. They did finally call back after I got home, but I was driving and when I got pulled over and called back I got that same old recording. I have done extensive research since we got back, and the overwhelming majority is this business is one of the biggest Scams ever. Please, Run don't walk away from the presentations from Sapphire Resorts!
