Service and billing
After making payments of 500 plus a month and nearly having my 5,000 bill payed off within 6 months they sent it to collections. If you don’t set up a payment plan with these crooks and make payments to them they still send you to collections. Then they informed me anytime something is not paid in full in four months without making a payment plan it is sent to collections even if you have been regularly paying on it. Pretty amazing you get sent to collections even if you are paying on your bill. Then they informed me each time i have a new office visit and bill i have to contact them to set up a payment plan for my same account, how crazy is that? Every visit you have to call them so they don’t turn you in to collections while your paying your bills?!? After spending thousands of dollars with them and getting told the medicine was approved and going to be sent to our home it never happened. So we spent thousands of dollars getting a diagnosis for my son with no medicine and terrible service. We are left holding the bag for thousands of dollars and no help for my son. Avoid this place like the plague and find a hospital/clinic that actually works with you and cares about a good outcome and actually communicate within there facilities with other departments as well as with you. This is a money grubbing terrible non caring facility that has become to large and fragmented to be effective. You will be left with no treatment and the same illness after you spend thousands. Run fast from here.
Desired outcome: Don’t go here. Ever.

I had two office visits at Sanford Health on Plum Street in Vermilion, SD, in January 2022. I was never told about the bill. I had two office visits as a first time patient, and blood work once. I called after several months because my credit score was low and here I had a $400 bill outstanding that I hadn't been told about. I was never informed about a schedule fee for any services. Also, it was extremely hard to contact the right person; often I was transferred to up to three different nurses. I'm switching to a private health care provider.
