Safelite has 100% control over jobs & which shops get them. They try to convince customers to go to a Safelite shop or certain things may not be covered or warrentied. Jobs are supposed to be rotated between shops unless a customer asks for a certain shop. In the last 90 days we have gotten 10 referrals, 2 cancelled due to being told they had to use Safelite. This is steering... I have emailed Safelite Admin on several occasions with no response yet within a day we will get a job or 2 then back to absolutely nothing. We are a preferred shop with the Network & this is not right. Makes it hard for the small shops to survive.
Claimed loss: We have lost thousands of dollars, since vehicles with all the new ADAS safety features & the recalibration requirements
Desired outcome: We want a fair rotation between shops... we would appreciate a response from Safelite as to why jobs have become so sparse & harder to get.
