No customer service
I thought getting this card would be great for me, but it has given me more headaches than my kids do. I have had numerous accounts of bad customer service. I had an issue where my money wasn't dispensed completely from an ATM and when I called they gave me a time and date as to when it would be credited back to my account. I thought it was too easy.. When I called back, they said that I was told that I had to submit paper work and it would take 90 days to reimburse.
I was furious because that is not what I had been told the first time. Then they said that I would receive the paperwork by email in 1-3 hours, never got it. Called again and they said the same thing. Hasn't happened. In all calls, I knew that I was dealing with people outside of the country that did not understand my problem. I am very upset! I thought our money would be handled better than this especially how important money is.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
terrible experience
I have been emailing rush card since October asking them has my new card been sent out. They never call or keep their word on the most minor of issues to begin with so I knew I had to stay on them about my new card since I use it for direct deposit and I need that money to live. Its now December 4th and not only have I not been contacted yet as promised, I still have no card. I received one email claiming the card was sent on the 13th of Nov. I have NEVER heard of a company sending out cards late. I want the entire rushcard service closed down. IF you can not do business to a certain standard you should be shut down. I want to know what my legal options are. I have record of all the emails i sent and received. I get paid tomorrow and I have absolutely no access to my cash and I have 12$ to my name. Thankfully I paid my bills for this month before the card expired last Sunday. If i do not get my card tomorrow i will not be able to eat or catch the bus to work.

They went bankrupt. my Rush card has $8000. They promised to send a check. 8 months later.. Nothing And contacting them goes nowhere.
I am 70 and this is my social security savings. Please I am desperate and nearly destitute.

I lost my rush card I ordered a new one almost 2 weeks now I can’t talk to no one about the status of my card.. did it go through with ordering it then I can’t go online because they ask you to put your card number in how when i don’t have one like can someone assist me please thanks

I'm locked out of my card account my name is John carbone [protected] I've faxed my info but not readable my social security checks are being taken from my account and rushcard will not help me I'm going to the press and getting a lawyer
My rushcard is lock I can't get my money out or use it at all. It's been going on for a few days and I need my money. Also u can't talk to a real person when u call to the card for any info
I called in as I was missing over $400 as someone had done fraud in another state. The representative had the audacity and nerves to tell me I had to go back to the merchant and speak to them as to why my card was swiped many times! How am i suppose to go to another state miles away to deal with some unauthorized transactions not made by me.
I paid for a replacement rushcard it 's been over 7-10 days and I have not received my card.
I ordered a replacement card the first week of August and I still haven't gotten it and when I call the system say that they are helping other customers and then hang up. I do not think that it is right and I will be contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU to investigate this company

I SPOKE WITH A CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE TO RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT CARD BECAUSE I GOT MARRIED. I TOLD HER THAT I DIDN'T CHANGE MY LAST NAME ON MY ID CARD YET. SHE TOLD ME TO FAX MY MARRIAGE LICENSE AND ID AND SHE WILL CHANGE MY LAST NAME ON MY REPLACEMENT CARD. I FAXED MY ID FOUR TIMES AND SPOKE WITH THREE DIFFERENT MANAGERS ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THEY WOULD NOT EXCEPT BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT READ THE WHOLE THING. ONE MANAGER SAID TO BLOW UP MY INFORMATION AND FAX IT AGAIN AND I DID. THEY SAID IT WAS STILL UNCLEAR. BEEN A MEMBER OF RUSH CARD FOR FOUR YEARS NOW. SENT THEM NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS. THEY JUST GOOD BUSINESS. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS TO COMPANY TO ANYONE. RUSSEL SIMONES NEEDS TO CHECK UP ON HIS WORKERS BECAUSE WE ARE THE REASON THEY GET PAID.
I have a suggestion to the people that are having problems with Rush Card. Use Paypal. Paypal is a much better company. You can pick up a paypal reload card at any CVS and they will also send you a debit card for ATM withdrawals. You will also be able to pay your bill and send money to anyone with just an email. Consider it. Good luck!
poor customer service
Their customer service representatives are idiots, they are extrememly unhelpful. They don't care about their customers. I have been getting lied to by management for over a week now in regard to a dispute over an ATM transaction that should never have gotten paid. Even the Bank Manager where the ATM is knows there was a problem with the machine, but can't talk to me about it, needs to talk to Rush Card. I told the idiots at Rush Card that and do you think they've called anybody? they could have taken care of this DAYS ago, but keep telling me I need to do it. I can't wait to get my money reversed back to my card so I can CLOSE this scam.
I got my money back from these people. But you know what I had to do in order to get it? Fax a copy of a NY State Civil Court suit that I was going to file against them to the main office in Cincinnatti, OH. I faxed that form and got my money back within 3 hours. Talked to the Director of Operations and everything. The form is available online, and you can find the fax number by searching the Better Business Bureau site in Ohio. Good luck to you!
i was told that my cards were closed per request from the bank to ruschard corporate. I was told that I could not contact corporate except through this complaint. I would like my money returned to me
I signed up and i was suspose to get the $50 promotion added to my card when i activated it and i still don't have the money and it has been two or three weeks now

I made a deposit of 500 dollars and a deposit of 240 a minute after my available balance should have been 740 dollars instead it read 603 dollars. Where is the rest of my money
I just got my rushcard in the mail and none of the websites uses for activation are loading or working! I have seen many complaints about this! Fix your activation process. I cannot use this card until you do that!
I stayed at Bally's Atlantic City June 16 and 17th. I used my RushCard for incidentals. I checked out and Bally's released the funds. RushCard is still holding the funds and I am pissed. I am contacting my lawyer ASAP to write and threaten these people for my money. Why are you holding funds for 35 days?
I filed a claim because my card was cloned! $900 was taken from me and these MF told me oh well it wasn't use who took it. That [censored] probably did... But I'm filing a law suit against them. My money was stolen and a report was filed. I am so upset
Rush card is the worst place to have money ! My card was compromised in FL when I'm in Dallas Tx! No way they should have been able to take money off my card! NEVER USE RUSH CARD EVER!
