I am writing to complain about the poor postal service receive over the past few months :
1). Mail addressed to me is frequently being delivered to an incorrect address. I am constantly receiving mail addressed to another address and different post codes. I am also receiving mail deliveries addressed to addresses and postcodes other than mine.
2). Mail is frequently delivered in batches every few days indicating that mail is being accumulated and not delivered routinely according to Royal Mail delivery schedules.
3). In the latest incident mail correctly addressed to me and posted over one month ago was delivered to an incorrect address, the residents of which were on holiday and returned a few days ago and personally delivered my mail which I received FIVE weeks after posting.
4). I have attempted to contact the local Royal Mail office (some four miles away) by telephone (using my usual contact no.) but the number "rings out" and remains unanswered.
I might add that up to quite a few months ago the local service appeared to be both efficient, on time and reliable.
Before I broadcast more widely and publicly my observations I would be grateful if you could endeavour to put in place steps to improve the situation and ensure that Royal Mail postal service users receive the benefits of what has become an increasingly expensive and unreliable service.
Your comments would be appreciated.
