Royal Air review: Crooks

Had a remodel adding on more sq. footage and needed to move the outside unit to the other end of the house and increase unit size. Contracted the to upsize unit, add new duct work to add on and replace existing duct work, well the unit got done as needed, but the new return air plenum was horrible and came apart 2 years later, it looked like a kindergartener coloring outside the lines, no square cuts, pieces patched to fill gaps, and the filter opening was only half of what the size of the filter was, no blocking underneath so the filter box fell down and tore the plenum loose from the unit. The supply to the addition didn't flow air, the supply plenum was too long and three pieces, the end piece was the original when the ac was added when the house was built, it had ducts coming straight out of the end so that's where all the air went, ducts where undersized and not attached to the supply plenum correctly, the duct runs on the existing runs where duct work used in the 60's.
All the existing was supposed to be replaced, that's what we paid for! I tried to call and have someone come out and check what was going on, I was informed that I had to pay a service call fee upfront $192.00 to get someone out here when the installation was still under warranty. I just had to pay a REAL company to come out and completely replace the entire supply and return plenums, duct work, and have it so all the house was getting air, not just half the house! All but one crew member didn't speak or understand English, the one that did, didn't have a clue as to what was going on.
I don't mind spending the money to get something done the right, but the quality of work, the unprofessional way we treated and taken care of was unacceptable! Not only am I writing this complaint, but a complaint to the BBB, and will be speaking with my attorney to see what can be done, oh I forgot to mention, I am a disabled senior citizen and in Texas that changes a lot of things when it comes to doing customers wrong!
