I purchased a car from a company that I had no problems with they had my car financed with no problems about a year or so ago it was bought out by Mid Atlantic Finance it was going ok for a couple months all of a sudden they took out double payments then it went to tripple payments then it went worse before I knew it telling them this was happening they said there was nothing they can do but at least my car was being paid off faster not to worry about it I was out the money needless to say it snowballed at I was paid up for about 6 months ahead on payments to than be getting calls saying I was due for a payement which i was not every time i would aks for a payment schedule or a supervisor i was always told the person was not there and they will send it over neitehr thing took place months and hours days weeks went by it is still going on I have no idea what these people are doing but I know i have been over paying and they can not prove what is owed and when im to be payed off and this is on a car that is not even functing to the total compasity so what im i do to im at the point of telling them to take the car but then it would go against my credit i see alot of other people are having the same problems so im hoping somthing can get done for me

Unfair Business Practices
I bought a car at a buy here pay here dealer not knowing that my account would be turned over to Mid Atlantic Finance. I have had nothing but problems with these people. I have only been thirty days late once in the three years of making payments. They turn your vehicle off, they are unwilling to truthfully ansewering questions, and all around an untrustworthy business. On September 23, 2011 I called to get my payoff amount and was given $2259.89 as the payoff amount. I purchased a new vehicle and the dealer agreed to payoff my loan. I called Mid Atlantic Finance two times to see if they received the check and they told me no, and to call back at 3 P.M. because that's when the get their mail. I received a call today at 8:20 A.M. and the rep told me that they have not recieved the check and that I would have to pay additional fees or they could not cash my check. I called back to speak with the same rep at 11:30 A.M. to get the "NEW" payoff amount and explanation of additional fees and was put on hold. She came back to the line to tell me that the manager said that they got the check (mind you they told me the other day that the mail doesnt come until 3) and that they cant cash it until I pay $205.00 today. She went on to tell me that I have to pay today or they will not cash the check from the dealer. I asked why I'm being charged an additional $205.00 and the payoff amount was quoted for $2303.89 to the dealer and they had until 10-06-2011 to send in payment. I have filed a complaint with BBB because I have been getting messed around by these people for long enough.

I agree. I have never been 30 days late.. not once. I have two payment left on my car.. and alone with the already numerous calls they make to me every day.. they have begun threatening me. Saying they are are going to reposses my car and i have till noon today to call becasue "with a deplorable acct like mine i am running out of time and options".. I'm like.. really.. c/mon..
I even filed a compaint with a manger one time becase an employee was being horriable and i asked her to please speak to me with the same respect i spoke to her.. .and she literally laughed at me and told me with an acct like the one i have why would i excpect any respect from anyone. Now remember i have never even been 30 days late. I asked to speak with her supervisor at which she started laughing again and told me that her supervisor would tell me the same thing. When i finally got a supervisor she explanined that the problem with my acct was that i had never actually spoken to them. I'm like.. you always got my payment why would i need to speak to you. The manager acutally laughed at me, and said...Ma'am, we get paid for each commitment we make so you mean nothing to us unless we get a commitment out of you.
I hung up ...and i hope this company dies a horrable death... i also know that if i ever purchase another car and they get my loan, i will return the vehicle and take what comes with it.
I completely understand the customer above these people are VERY BAD in customer service they hang up on you and are not willing to work with you. I'm talking about Veronica, Dolores and Cassandra from the Houston office by the beltway in Greenspoint I don't know why they still have a job if they are totally unprofessional. I just can't wait to stop dealing with these ignorant and low life people.

IF YOU ARE A DEALER DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND HAVE YOUR CUSTOMERS VERY UPSET WITH YOU. YOU WILL NEVER GET THE BALANCE OF YOUR RESERVE AND THEY HAVE LEGAL LOOP HOLES SO THAT ONE MONTHE RECOURSE CAN LAST FOR THE LIFE OF THE LOAN. THEY WILL ASLO TELL YOU THINGS TO GET YOUR BUSINESS THAT WILL NEVER COME TRUE. JUST GOOGLE THEIR NAME AND YOU WILL SEE THOUSANS OF COMPLAINTS.
