On 06/06/23 I bought a Buchla Thunder (order [protected] US$ 6,857.50) at Reverb.com and I received a totally different product, that’s seen to be an old sound Amplifier. I talked to the seller, who said he had send the correct one.
Then we opened a dispute at Reverb, who replied that my claim was denied. Reverb didnt give me any evidence that the correct product was sent, and
they also cancelled my account at Reverb marketplace. And Reverb cries out in the website that they protect both parts. I lost a job that was depending on the equipment and I also ask myself: is Reverb accusing me of fraud?
As they consider the vendor sent the correct product, that will be the me with untrue allegations.
The (wrong) product was received in a commercial building, registered by the front desk, and the box opened in front of 2 people.
I have :
- UPS package pictures
- a statement of 2 people who received the package and helped open the box
- a statement from the office security manager and a copyof the video from the office´s video surveillance system showing all scene from the package being delivered by UPS until the box being opened with the wrong product. Once Reverb cut the conversation I opened a claim at my credit card and I´m registering it here. Now that I received the video that is proof that the vendor sent me the wrong equipment, how Reverb keeps protecting him?
Desired outcome: At least the refund and my account at Reverb reactivated
No response?
