BEWARE FIRST TIME LANDLORDS!

Stay away from this rental management company. I have had a terrible experience with this company in past few weeks. I contacted them based on positive reviews online but my experience with them was far from positive.

Right from the beginning, they were very lackluster in communicating the procedures of renting a house(took three weeks to list the house when no big repair was required) . Things got worse when I was assigned a "property manager". Series of mistakes in communicating the locks were changed to my house to where are the new keys to installing new locks and hinges at wrong places in the house. It all went wrong. And the worst part is they care less.

I have ended my contract with them and will NEVER use them again. What a waste of time. I wish I could rate them with a ZERO star.

I'm at the beginning of my relationship with Rentals America, but having Nancy as the Property Manager has been fabulous thus far! From the initial property viewing where her professionalism (and mask wearing) made me feel comfortable from the start to our numerous conversations since she has been wonderful to work with! Looking forward to a long relationship.

Using Rentals America to manage your property could not be easier. They take care of EVERYTHING and I get a deposit in my account like clockwork every month. Laina has been taking care of my townhouse for over seven years and she always keeps me updated with the latest rental market trends and if anything arises at my property. Rates are reasonable, competitive and worth every penny.

is a dream property manager. She is very responsive to service requests, which often get handled within a week, and she has been very helpful with any other questions or issues. We have moved a lot for my husband's job, and we have worked with several property managers - some truly horrible. *** is by far the best, and I would even say one of the reasons we've stayed in our current location longer than usual.

I've been using Rentals America to manage my rental property since 2011. Laina is professional, knowledgeable and dedicated Representative doing her job. She takes matters in her hands and solves issues in a timely manner that makes the tenant and my myself very satisfied. Laina dedicates herself from start to finish and since I'm not in Arizona that is a bonus for me. I hope one day Rental America will open an office in South Texas.

Renting from Rentals America was a fantastic experience start to finish thanks to our property manager Nancy. She was very helpful and attentive during the move in process and was always available to answer our questions. While renting, Nancy responded quickly to maintenance request and we always had any problems resolved within a couple of days. Now that we are about to move out of our house she remains extremely helpful and supportive. I would absolutely rent from her again.

We started working with ***, from Rentals America, in early 2021 to rent out our property in ***. We were moving out of the *** and had a month to complete the move. We emptied the house and Marhriah took over from there with cleaning, repairs, photos, finding tenants and completing all the documentation to get new tenants into our house. We never could have done it all ourselves. Since the house was rented we've had some maintenance issues with the house and is been great to have *** working to resolve any of the issues that come up, and to ensure rent it paid to our account. Great service! Highly recommended!

is such a pleasure to work with. I am out of state so I depend on her as my boots on the ground to help with any issue with my house. She always ensures that everything runs smoothly whether finding a tenant, coordinating repairs, or just checking in. Mahriah is very responsive. Im never left waiting in the dark. She always addresses my questions and comments promptly. Not only is Mahriah a good communicator, but she is also extremely knowledgeable and professional. Even though I know she has many other properties, she always makes me feel like Im her priority. I absolutely recommend her to manage your property.

Rentals America Phoenix is fantastic! I highly recommend them to any landlord who needs to free up their time. As a landlord, I hired this company to manage my rental property in Phoenix. The fee is low and the services they provide are fantastic. The director is very professional and easy to work with. The property manager I worked with (Lora) is also amazing. She's easy to get a hold of and provides positive results. She was quickly able to find me a new tenant at market rates. They have good marketing services and they do all the work. I'm extremely happy with the services and results they've provided me. I would recommend them to anyone that needs their rental property fully managed.

my name is *** and *** has been my property manager for my home at ***. Im wrapping up my contract with Rentals America since a family member is moving back in. The decision has nothing to do with Rentals America nor the job of your property manager. On the contrary, Im taking the opportunity to thank *** publicly for the excellent work she has done. From the first contact with Rentals America to date, you have consistently impressed me with your professionalism and competency. *** is no exception and shes been prompt, courteous and professional with every conversation and request. I know shes very busy but I always feel I have her attention with every connection. She takes time to listen and explain. She takes care of my home as if it was her own. I will recommend Rentals America to anyone and will definitely come back to you in the future. You have giving me the peace of mind I was looking for. Thank you!

So I find this house in a nice neighborhood for a decent amount of rent (well not decent but considering the times could be worse)but it turns out that the reason this house is cheaper because the pipes are shot the roof need replacing like halfway into my lease the carpet in the living room was covered in dog pee and they merely clean the carpets to mask everything the wiring of the house is weird also at least half the outlets are old and need to be replaced there's a spot that was repaired in the master bedroom that has turned into an active leak as well as the *** is shot old system leaks on the house and the roof causing further problems they're disrespectful and aggressive needlessly and they don't know or want to help you solve your problems they just give the canned answer of well you rented the property as is. I'm pretty sure that if the scam because they're probably going to take my deposit to fix the problems with this house that should have already been fixed by the owner before being rented.Rentals are a horrible idea it's all about taking advantage of people in a situation that they need to get out of but the systemic disrespect and using of others continues to s*** up the entire market

We rented a property for one year in Ahwatukee on ***. We hired cleaners, landscapers, and carpet cleaners. After moving out, I thought we followed the instructions clearly, but Rentals America still decided to charge us over $500 for cleaning, garage remote battery replacement, AC filter, deep carpet cleaning with pet spot removal. I have attached a picture of the exact charges they billed us before we got only part of our security deposit back. We called Nancy (a property manager I think) to protest against this unjust and immoral bill. She emailed back defending Rentals America unjust practice of taking a third of the security deposit. She used the excuse that she asked the owner if he could wave it off, and the owner refused. Even if that is true, she is still just as guilty (along with any other executives, managers of their company) of unjustly charging for services that were already completed, and any additional charges were normal wear and tear as listed in the tenant rights. My only recourse to get any justice is to take Rentals America to a small claims court to show how they violated our tenant rights. I recommend to any one looking to rent with them to avoid it unless you want to end up with my fate. They are like most rental companies (swindlers). What a deplorable way to make a living off the exploitation of their tenants.

Applied for a rental house on 8/4. They said they were working on someone else's application who applied before me and would give me my money back. But I still haven't got my refund and they're not giving me clear answers about my application.

I rented a house in *** from Rentals America in 8/21, and they took a $2200 security deposit. The house was not very clean, and they said we wouldn't be charged for any damage or uncleanness. They wouldn't send me the pictures they took before we moved in. We told them we left on 8/22/22 and cleaned the house before we left, including getting the carpets professionally cleaned. The house was way cleaner than when we moved in. On 9/15/22, I reached out because we didn't hear back about our security deposit. On 9/20/22, they said our account was closed out, and we'd get the refund in our account. They charged us for damage to a door frame, carpet wear (even though it was professionally cleaned), and smoking. I have asthma, and we never smoked. The owner switched to a new rental company, and they showed the house between when we left and when our contract ended in 8/31/22. Someone may have smoked in it after we left, but we shouldn't be charged for that. (They also charged for the microwave and *** not being cleaned, but I'm not sure if I cleaned them or not.) Rentals America closed our account without letting us give feedback or dispute the charges. They don't manage the house anymore, so they're not responding to my requests for help. They said I have to talk to the owner, but our contract was with Rentals America, and I think they should fix this.
