Real Canadian Superstore review: Meringata frozen dessert

I shop in this store for more than 10 years and never had any problems. Until Sunday October 5, 2020. Among other things I bought Meringata frozen dessert. I use public transport so, to get home it took around 30 minutes and it was not the first time I had this dessert transported this way. Upon arrival I put the package in the freezer at -18 degree C. 5 hours later I opened the the package and I've found the dessert melted. We ate some, nothing else was available, but it was disgusting. I looked carefully at the package and I've found Best Before date September 26 2020.
Also PC Optimum offers for this week is 1600 points for PC Frozen Desserts. It is not shown on the receipt. PC logo is on the original package.
