Real Canadian Superstore review: dairy

I recently shopped at the West Kelowna Superstore, as usual. Only this time, I noticed a few of my dairy products had curdled by the time I had opened them the next day. A Libertè Plain Greek Yogurt with a date of Feb 5th and a Philadelphia herb & garlic cream cheese with a date of May 6.
I opened them Jan 27th and didn't have the receipt by this time to return the items, so I just had to throw them away. Could they have been stored somewhere out of the cool for too long? I'm skeptical of buying them again now.
