My experience working for the Ramada and Super 8 managed by Ria and Jay Patel was extremely unprofessional and stressful. I worked scheduled shifts, handled cleaning and front desk duties, and raised respectful concerns about safety issues and my paycheck. Shortly after speaking up, I was removed from the property before a scheduled shift, leaving me without both work and housing.
I also believe I am still owed wages for hours I already worked. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, management involved local law enforcement and had me criminally trespassed from the properties. Employees deserve to be treated fairly, paid properly, and able to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. This statement reflects my personal experience with these businesses.
Recommendation: I dont recommend this company at all
That sounds like a nightmare — you did your job, cleaned rooms, covered front desk, then spoke up about safety and your paycheck, and they retaliated by kicking you out of your housing and work? And called the police on you? That’s not just bad management, that’s cruel. You deserved to be heard, not punished. I believe you. Please contact your local labor board about those unpaid wages — you earned that money. And no one should lose their home for asking to be treated fairly. Stay strong. You’re not alone.
